This was my first visit to Rawpics studio for a shoot with Leejayyy on her studio event there.

I had a very ambitious shoot plan and I have to say that not only was the studio fabulously equipped, but Rod pulled out all the stops in working his magic with the lighting to enable me to get the style of shot that I was seeking.

This has to be one of the best equipped and set up studios that I have visited.

Today I had the opportunity to shoot at Rawpics studio. It had been a long time since I had worked in a studio. Once again I remembered why I wanted to be a photographer. A large organized and fully professional studio.

I would like to be there again soon.

After speaking over the past week or so, I just had to jump at the opportunity to venture out to see his studio! And no wonder the events get sold out! What a beautiful studio, very well equipped and to add to that, a wonderful studio owner! Rod was amazing! Picking us up and dropping us back as well as assisting Akin with his first studio shoot! He was very patient, kind and chatty which made the whole experience fly by! We literally wondered where the time went! I will definitely be back here again! I absolutely adored my experience today!

Rod hosted an event to shoot David, a fabulous international dancer. I wasn't shooting, but helping three members of the Honiton Camera Club.

Rod was his usual helpful host patiently watching over my friends to see what images they were getting and suggesting lighting changes or framing suggestions.

All three members got great shots and were blown away by what the studio had to offer. They are already planning the next shoot!

Yet another session at Rawpics studio which was another success. Rod is the perfect host and always goes the extra mile to ensure the shoot goes well. This time there was the added bonus of a vintage car added to the shoot to add authenticity to the themed day. Rawpics studio is a perfect place to learn about studio setups, lighting and how to work with models. Keep them coming Rod as I will be back!

Another great shoot at Rawpics, this time with David Wall ballet dancer. Rod as always was keen to help setting up and adjusting the lighting and offering suggestions on camera alterations. Rawpics studio is really excellent - plenty of space and options. Check it out!

David Wall - Dancer

I recently had two studio days at Rawpics studios owned by Rodney Warren.

The studio offers a massive amount of space for shooting, which is particularly helpful for me being a dancer. He has a lot of props that we used and this created some very interesting shots. Rod has a private changing area right in the studio area which was perfect for me to get changed in, he even placed a heater in there to make sure I was warm. He also provided me with plenty of food and water for the day.

Whilst shooting with other photographers in Rod's studio, he would always be there to help both me and the photographers with lights, props, and everything else.

It is without hesitation I would recommend him, I look forward to working there again.

Had my first shoot at Rawpics studio today booked with lux pictorem.

Rod came and warmly greeted me with Peter (photographer I worked with).

Rod showed me into Rawpics studio which I was then amazed, the space is incredible and do much photographic potential with a white infinity cove, different sections throughout with a variety of backgrounds,props furniture and lights.

Rod showed me into the model dressing room which again I loved, felt like I was backstage of a movie set, full wall mirrors and a vanity table with mirror and lights.

Rod really made sure I was comfortable and turned the heating in the dressing room on for me had refreshments laid out for me and checked regularly if I was too warm or cold, made me a fab cuppa on my break in a rawpics cup :) he was there on hand to help in the shoot moving things on the set too.

The amount of effort and time that has gone into the studio is amazing and probably one of the best I have seen.

Rod is a pleasure too and I'm glad I have met him and we have even organised a studio day in august that I can't wait for, in the mean time I'm going to be sure to recommend both models and photographers looking for a studio to book Rawpics.

Ooo I even made it on their wall of fame ;) yay!!

We enjoyed a splendid shoot at RAWPICS Studio with David Wall (Dancer) who was brilliant. Plenty of room to use and Rod Warren was welcoming and helpful, as always.

We will be back again later this year.

My first shoot today with Rawpics, Lovely location and great Studio. Fantastic infinity wall. It was a good 2.5 hour drive for me but was worth it. Rod is a lovely friendly chap, provided tea on arrival, very helpful with lighting when needed. Very much recommended and I would certainly attend another studio day there again.

The studio has been set up with plenty of different sets to work with and the garden is perfect for shooting in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Xclusive Magic Photography

My first shoot back after lockdown and the first at Rawpics studio. I did see the studio last year, thinking is would be a great place to shoot especially with our theatrical magic genre yet Rod has worked even harder since then adding many tweaks and improvements which make this a really superb venue for photographers and models.

I am pleased with the results from our session there and very much hope to be back again soon.

Photographers would be well advised to put Rawpics at the top of your list for studios to work at.

Rod is a absolute gentleman, he was on hand the whole day and went above and beyond to help out with everything.

He was hospitable, helpful, chatty and treats everybody with the upmost respect. He made sure the models were well looked after and went above to help with the setting up of the I shoot.

And the studio is not only immaculate and fresh looking. It's spacious with a wide range of backdrops and places to shoot against.

I wouldn't hesitate to use Rawpics if ever a shoot was organised again that way.

Wow wow wow!

This studio is HUGE and my gosh such an amazing grand set up. Obviously alot of time, dedication and passion has gone into this place and the amount of thought down to the smallest detail. I were mind blown. I would highly recommend and I definitely plan to revisit.

Photographer booked the studio and Rod who owns this studio greeted me had refreshments available throughout and on arrival, was very humble, assuring and welcoming. Thankyou!

An Eye for Beauty

My first shoot at Rawpics and I am sure it won't be my last.

I initially signed up for the first 2 hours of Anna Lina's studio day, but as I love working with her, was quickly persuaded to come back for the last 2 hours.

Rod was so helpful and friendly and the studio is amazing. I hope to return later in the year for some aerial circus images, but had a taster this time as Anna posed with the silks and on the aerial hoop at low level. I ended up with over 400 shots with many different settings and outfits.

The garden is also amazing and as the sun was getting softer I used a couple of sequences with the countryside in the background.

We are so lucky to have such a huge spaced studio in Somerset, and this gives all sort of opportunities not always available in a smaller one. Thanks, Rod, and see you soon.

I had my first studio day at Rawpics recently and I was really impressed with it even before I came inside! A huge garden area by the studio is just awesome with so many different lovely spots and ideas for shooting! Inside the studio there is a massive space with many different backdrops, amazing props, lots of lighting equipment and very cosy and spacious changing room. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well looked after.

Rod(the owner) was very friendly and welcoming, making sure I was feeling comfortable and safe at all times. The drinks and snacks was also provided during all day which is always appreciated.

I had an absolutely amazing day at Rawpics studio which I really enjoyed and hopefully I will have a chance to come back there in the future.

I can highly recommend it to everyone!

Rod was very friendly and has created a very relaxed and friendly environment to work in.

A well equiped studio and Rod is very happy to help out with the lighting.

This was my first shoot in a quite a while. Couldn't have picked a better studio to have started shooting again.
