I LOVE Rawpics Studio!! It has everything and more - the set up here is brilliant with both spacious and well-laid out indoor space and beautiful gardens.

Rod the owner is an absolute star and so hospitable. I always feel very well looked after and very at home at Rawpics.

There is some superb lighting kit here plus lots of high quality props and backdrops.

The large infinity cove allows for great dance shots with plenty of head space! I love the new hoop and silks!!

Thank you so much Rod for another brilliant studio day, and I can wait to be back in August.

This was my second shoot at RawPics and the first after lock down. During lock down Rod has transformed the studio, building an amazing new affinity wall which stretches across the whole end of the studio creating a massive space for movement and aerial work. The studio is kitted out with great lighting equipment and has natural light coming from the roof. The studio is large enough to house at least 4 other shooting areas on top of the affinity wall. Rod is the perfect host, on hand to help with the lighting and providing refreshments. My shoot was perfect and I was super pleased with the lighting and backdrops and of course the affinity wall which you can just lose yourself in. I can recommend RawPics studio most highly.

I have had two shoots at Rawpics so far (with more booked) and it is a lovely studio!

Rod is very helpful and makes you feel very comfortable! He is also very easy to talk to and was happy to get stuck in to help with lighting and anything else we needed help with.

The studio is very spacious and has a wide variety of equipment!

I’m so excited to be going back to the studio soon.

I highly recommend!!!

Have shot at the studio twice in the last few days. Great to see the substantial improvements Rod has made to the infrastructure over lockdown, not least the impressively massive infinity wall. And it's such a huge space overall with some good backgrounds and props. Unfortunately couldn't make use of the beautiful outside garden due to poor weather but this will be an added bonus when summer eventually arrives!

Rod is a great host. Nothing is too much trouble and in particular he cares for the welfare of the models which makes for a happier and more relaxed photo subject.

Had my first shoot at the studio today, rod was welcoming and made me feel really relaxed! That studio had everything you could need! It amazing! Rod helped out with the lighting, and anything else you need. U say his name he’s on his way!! Honestly amazing!!

Rod had cleared one of the walls/sets I hadn't used last time so I could use it this time.

The model, Tess, had brought some feathers and Rod kindly offered to climb a ladder and help distribute over her for the shot! Literally above and beyond :)

I arrive, late, but to a very warm welcome a great cuppa and no stress at all. Rod was a pleasure to chat with, on hand and ready to help with lighting or anything else we needed. I felt totally at ease in his space which is roomy and well equipped. I’m really looking forward to going back!

First shoot at Rawpics.

As you walk through the door you get the wow factor of their new infinity wall. I was mesmerised for a few minutes trying to find the curves!

As well as 'the wall' there are several other backdrops and interesting features such as the fake water tank wall and a map of the world in bricks.

Rod was really helpful sorting out the lights as needed and always on hand to help. He makes a great cuppa to boot.

Will definitely be coming back. Ok, I'm back in two days!

I had an excellent first shoot at the studio, it’s a fantastic creative space, match by the warm welcome from Rod.

I would like to also shoot outside in the future as the outside space is the as excellent as the inside space.

Rod's studio is fast becoming my regular work place and it's so easy to see why! His massive studio speaks for itself, with great space and plenty of lighting equipment on hand. Each visit brings something different and creates more fantastic images. Rod's large selection of props is second to none and nothing you ask is ever too much for him, which is always greatly appreciated!

Rod himself is a fantastic gentleman, always on hand to help out whenever needed and seeing his friendly face is always a massive bonus! He makes sure to have refreshments on hand throughout the shoot which is always VERY appreciated by me!

Yet another fabulous shoot at Rod's studio after a photographer approached me wanting to shoot some Hollywood/film noir stuff. Having shot this during a Team Black Event at Rod's studio previously, I knew this was the perfect place to shoot it. His studio is equipped with plenty of lighting tech and modifiers such as barn doors to really hone in on the style we were shooting. As usual Rod was on hand throughout to offer assistance when required but doesn't find it hard to let you get on with it on your own as well. His props such as the chaise lounge really added to the overall Hollywood feel as well.

Definitely recommend Rod and his studio :)

My first shoot at Rawpics studio went well. It was a vintage Hollywood lighting look with Angel Black.

The studio is a big space with a good ceiling height, so no issues with modifiers hitting the ceiling!

There is a good range of sets, white cove, various backdrops, and a room set.

What makes the studio especially useful is the garden, so you can shoot indoors or out, to give a good variety of looks during a shoot.

Will definitely be shooting there again.

Rod welcomed the photographer and I with a big smile. There were coffee and biscuits ready. The studio was clean and warm. Rod was very helpful all day, helping to set the lights and backgrounds, bringing coffee anytime we fancied some. He was very professional, I felt very confortable. The studio is amazing, full of different backgrounds and moods, ideal for creative people ! His sense of humour made the day even better, I warmly recommend !

This studio is fantastic. I had a studio session there on Sunday and it has a very impressive infinity wall as well as numerous lighting, background and props also it has a gorgeous garden that can also be used to shoot with natural light.

Clean and tidy and with a changing area and makeup station ,with good lighting set up and wardrobe space for the model.

Also refreshments and toilet facilities provided.

Rod was amazing, he let me visit and see the studio before hand and was also always to hand on the studio day, helping with expert photography and lighting advice as well as anything else you could ask for from a studio.

I had a fantastic day and certainly hope to be back again soon, idyllic location and a brilliant setup and such a friendly, professional atmosphere.

This was my first shoot at Rawpics. Host Rod was extremely welcoming and very helpful and patient in setting up and moving the lights even though I kept altering the model or camera positions! This is an excellent studio to shoot in and offers scope for many options when shooting.

The grounds outside the studio also provide plenty of different backgrounds if you want to try some natural light shots. I will be back!

I travelled down from London for my 3rd shoot at the newly refurbished studio yesterday and was not disappointed. Working with Angel Black we had a lot of fun in the studio. The 4 hour shoot flew by and I think we could have gone on.

We took full advantage of the studio inside getting some terrific shots. We had a lot of fun taking advantage of the new hoop and winch facility dangling Angel from it for some time. We were also able to spend time in the lovely garden around the studio.

Rod is always at hand with some really valued and exceptional help, he works hard to help and support us. the studio is always clean and well prepared. The new heating system was appreciatively affective (especially considering the studios size) when we got there and he kept an eye one things so that we were always comfortable.

Looking forward to returning again and certainly, definitely recommended.

Wanted to shoot with Victoria Summers on an outdoor shoot, but as she is based Somerset/Dorset would mean around 450 mile round trip. Along way to go if weather was bad, then I found Rawpics studio which has a large outdoor shooting area, then if weather turns have the fall back of indoor studio. I gave myself extra time for the journey allowing for traffic, accidents etc. This resulted in arriving about forty minutes early, but Rod was there to welcome me and gave me tour of the studio. Also selection of refreshments available. Rod is obviously a talented photographer as you can see examples of his work on studio walls. One that stood out for me was of the 3 bridges across the Firth of Forth at night time. Rod was there to give a helping hand if needed, a very well run studio. A shame it's so far away from Lancashire. Highly recommended.

My first shoot after lockdown and what a place to start.

The studio is fantastic and has so much room, with Rod brilliantly updating the studio during lockdown. Superbly done and an absolute pleasure to be there with camera in hand. The studio has some great additions including a huge infinity wall and other great backgrounds, enabling a great variety of images.

Rod is such a great person to be around and is so helpful when called upon. His support is much appreciated.

Great host and brilliant studio - well worth the 200 mile round trip.
