Hi! My name is Mike, welcome to my profile notes. I am an enthusiastic amateur photographer who is passionate about striving to obtain great images.

Photography has always been a hobby of mine since my first Brownie 127 as a young teenager. Over the years my interest in the hobby has grown and developed, so that now in my retirement, it is my main passion.

Since retiring from Yorkshire to Pembrokeshire some 4 years ago, ageing joints and crumbling bones have made me reappraise my photographic style away from landscape, with the long treks involved, and towards portraiture.

This site has some truly inspirational work on it and it has helped me to fashion the style and direction in which my photography is now developing.

I am very happy to work with models on a TF or collaborative basis or part paid/part TF basis, where we can produce images together that can add something of mutual benefit to both of our portfolios.

I am also happy to pay for full time professional models where modelling is their main source of income.

I will always listen to a model’s own input and learn from their experience.

When doing a shoot, I always come prepared with images in mind. I usually have a load of suitable props with me along with my camera equipment. I strive to capture feelings and emotions in the model’s poses and expressions that can be conveyed through the image and hold the viewers attention a while longer.

I have a small studio set up in one of the rooms at my home but I am equally happy to shoot in a professional studio or outside in the environment.

Although I am an amateur photographer I can assure you that all my work is approached and undertaken in a totally professional and respectful manner. I am happy to share photos with models and I will not sell or publish photos. I have no problem if a model wishes to bring a chaperone along with them.
