My first shoot after lockdown and what a place to start.

The studio is fantastic and has so much room, with Rod brilliantly updating the studio during lockdown. Superbly done and an absolute pleasure to be there with camera in hand. The studio has some great additions including a huge infinity wall and other great backgrounds, enabling a great variety of images.

Rod is such a great person to be around and is so helpful when called upon. His support is much appreciated.

Great host and brilliant studio - well worth the 200 mile round trip.

My second visit to Studio. Great improvements to studio with infinity wall and large space making dance so much better giving the space to fill frame. There are also some great new backdrops 2 hours fly by so only a short chance to try them all but Chill out area great for some moody looks. Unfortunately owning to time didn't get chance to use garden again but sun was a bit harsh for outdoors anyway during middle of day. 2 Hours never feels like enough time.

Would easily recommend this studio communication spot on so many options for different styles of shots.

I was over the moon to be back at Rawpics Studio and to see Rod again. I was amazed by the improvements he’s done to the studio - even though he’s been sending me update pics, it was great to see the transformation of the studio.

The space was amazing before and Rod has now improved it with a huge infinity cove that has enough height for dance work. He’s added Aerial silks and a hoop which was a real treat to try out.

His new 3D backdrops are so different and brilliant to photograph. All the photographers I worked with were so impressed.

Add to this the beautiful garden and Rod’s expertise and hospitality - this all puts Rawpics up there with the very top studios.

I look forward to seeing the success of this studio grow this year and returning myself next month.

Rod's studio has always had a fantastic studio space, but after the upgrades, there is so much more! It is clear that Rod puts a an awful lot of time and effort into his studio and it definitely pays off. The infinity wall really adds to the studio, taking it to a whole other level. We used the silks for some gorgeous art nude work and the colours of the silk are truly gorgeous against the white background.

Rod's ability to adapt to his surroundings never cease to amaze me and I truly appreciate him being on hand to assist!

The studio is spacious and well kept, meaning its easy to see everything upon entering, making decision making much easier! :D

1st visit since the major upgrades but have booked Rod's Rawpics studio several times now and everytime managed to come away with a lot more than intended. So many options but now with the added feature for the huge infinity wall and winch/pulley for aerial/hoop/Silks shots.

As always Rod on hand for great assistance and beverages.

Anyone travelling to this huge shooting space will not be disappointed and can't recommend highly enough.

Thanks Rod and really dont have to say that myself and Angel will be back let alone just myself with other planned bookings with models.

Rod's studio is definitely a force to be reckoned with - we've shot there a few times now, often taking advantage of the gardens, although on this occasion we used his new ariel silk and ariel hoop feature and captured some truly stunning images.

Rod's studio is now our go to for all major events, including workshops and we look forward to hosting more in this stunning space in the future! His studio is spacious and full of possibilities!

Super shoot at Rawpics, eventually; Rod was very understanding, when I had to change the booking arrangements on a couple of occasions due to Covid restrictions. As it turned out this was one of my favourite shoots of 2020 and my last before total Lockdown 2021.

The studio has a reasonable selection of lights and modifiers but I prefer to use my own for many of the sets I had planned. What is so impressive is the space afforded by the studio; it is huge and would accommodate action and dance shoots which is a particular interest of mine. Rod has also invested in some interesting props and furniture which we made good use of. Outside is a garden area which provides another shooting opportunity when the weather improves.Rod was a great host, made us very welcome and was always on hand if needed but happy to leave us to it otherwise.

Will definitely use the studio again and I recommend it enthusiastically to all photographers and models.

I had a great day with Rod doing a Dance shoot on location. He had some great creative ideas from the very beginning and these really helped us to have a successful shoot. He always replied to my messages quickly which was very helping in arranging the shoot.

Rod had already scouted the locations to shoot at before we arrived on the day. This was really helpful in getting the most from a picture, and saving time when walking between locations.

Rod was great a finding the perfect moment when to take a photo, especially when we were shooting in a crowded area. He is very professional and really positive to work with. I would highly recommend him, I am sure that I will be working with him for a long time.

I had another very successful and enjoyable shoot today at Rawpics studio. Rod is making huge efforts by the minute to improve this already brilliant studio! I arrived today to find a new array of back drops and props and was greeted by Rod who had hot coffee and a bacon sandwich for me!

The models’ dressing room area is great with loads of space to change and lay out outfits and a super new mirror with lights!

We didn’t use the beautiful gardens today as we were too busy making use of the many settings indoors - in what is a very spacious barn style building.

I really love Rod’s attention to detail and willingness to help in any way so that the photographer leaves with the shots they want. He has a great knowledge of lighting set ups and a very good understanding of the key factors that are required from a studio in order to make the shoot experience a successful one.

I very much look forward to working with Rod and Rawpics Studio in 2021 and to creating some exciting and enticing studio days! Watch this space!

Had my first photoshoot at Rawpics Studio today, and I can’t wait for my second.

From start to finish, Rod made me very welcome and I could tell immediately that we were going to get on. His hospitality was brilliant in many ways - a steady flow of hot drinks and providing much needed help with the lighting. It was great, and clear that Rod wanted me to leave happy anD with a great set of images.

The shoot was an amazing shoot with Melany - the shoot was superb throughout, and I did come away with so many beautiful images.

The Studio is great, with so many interesting backdrops and much space to move around.

I definitely recommend Rod and Rawpics Studio to any photographer.

My first shoot in a studio in a while due to various lockdowns but I was thrilled to be back in Rod's studio. Every time I shoot in this gorgeous location there is always something knew, and this time was no exception with the dividing wall now taken down and multiple locations available to shoot in. The studio improves with every visit, making shooting their all the mode enjoyable. I love the new modifications, including some of the blocks available to use, which myself and Ian took full advantage of during our shoot!

The Christmas background was beautiful and the wrapped presents really added a lovely touch. As usual Rod himself was a pleasure, he's always perfectly polite and a real gentleman, always on hand to offer suggestions or assistance whenever needed.

Thankyou Rod, for always being the perfect host and your studio is simply stunning.

I recently had my second shoot at the stunning Rawpics studio having booked stunning Angel Black UK for another studio shoot. Having shot there once before I knew we'd have a great shoot and this it was clear Rod had upped the game, something I would not have imagined and was thrilled when I got there at the many many possibilities to create in.

The studio is extremely well put together with so much space. He has removed a dividing partition which opens up an already large shooting area giving a lot of variations already set up to shoot with. Angel and I were offered refreshments on arrival and they were always at hand should we wish them. We were able to jump in and start shooting whenever we were ready and we took full advantage of the sets provided (which also had options to change should creativity take is in a specific direction) Specifically there was a lovely Christmas set set up which was very effective and the time and effort Rod had put into it is clear in the shots that we achieved.

Rod, as host, was an absolute gentlemen, always on hand if we needed it without intrusion. His courtesy and kindness cannot be exaggerated and assistance were really valued and appreciated and for value for money the studio is outstanding. Absolutely worth the trip down from London.

All Covid-19 precautions were covered;Rod is a genial and knowledgeable host.

Great layout and space for models and in the studio area. I came away with so many beautiful images it's hard to know where to start.

Fingers crossed I will get the chance to work there again.Totally recommended.

My first time at the studio on studio day with Melany. Great location large well equipped studio. Covid 19 predations in place. Rod always on hand to help with lighting a growing collection of props. But the standout is a large garden just out side making studio very versatile.

Pre-visit coms excellent with detailed instructions on how to find. Easy access of A303. Even a car park marshal in high vis jacket waiting on main road to guide me in.

Would highly recommend and defiantly return.

I had my first studio day at Rawpics and it's 10 out of 10 for me!! Loved everything about this amazing studio that Rod the owner has created.

The indoor studio space is very spacious with a fantastic variety of backdrops and props and with all the necessary lighting kit but it also has beautiful natural light opportunity too. The garden is so stunning with many different and varied settings - even shooting here all day for 8 hours I didn't get round to using all that this awesome studio has to offer.

Rod is a super star and was extremely professional, considerate, courteous and helpful - making sure he was on-hand all day to assist with lighting set up, refreshments, reflector holding, etc!

He even set up my gymnastic rings for me in the garden to swing off! Rod is very forthcoming with ideas to help with the shoot and really knows his stuff.

I am so impressed with this new studio and am certain it will quickly rise to be one of the best in the Southwest if it isn't already!

My first shoot at Rawpics studio today - and it definitely won't be the last. Having both amazing grounds (so many excellent shooting spots to be found!) and a very spacious and well equipped studio to choose from, Melany and I were really spoiled today.

From excellent directions to his location, through to a welcome second cup of tea at the end the shoot, Rod was the perfect studio host. With well thought out Covid-19 precautions he had even more to do than would be usual, but Rod was unfailingly there to help when needed, and invisible when not :-). He runs a friendly and professional operation, which I have no hesitation to highly recommend. I look forward to returning.

This was my first time at Rawpics studio, for Melany's studio day. The studio is set in a converted barn in a lovely garden. The studio is large and roomy, with plenty of space to capture movement and dance shots. There is a selection of studio lighting and plenty of natural light with a growing selection of props and a smoke generator. Rod was the perfect host, supply refreshments and helping with setting up the studio and lighting. I had a great time in the studio and look forward to future shoots at Rawpics.

Highly recommended to all photographers or models.

Once again I used RAW Pics Studio, which is now my local studio. This time I used it with J Black Photographic where we ran a Team Black Workshop. As with the other times, Rod is extremely helpful and is always on hand to offer assistance. He's a polite and professional gentleman and his studio speaks for him. The space really offers the chance to experiment and play, things you can't necessarily do in a smaller location. He's constantly expanding his collection of props and making the model changing area as comfortable as possible. With all the extra additions appearing time and time again, I look forward to returning again soon!

Rod's studio is fully equipped with every photographers dream. Not my first time in this studio and I know every time will have me leaving with phenomenal images. Rod is always on hand for anything I may need and is simply the easiest and most genuine gentleman to get along with! Every visit to the studio to date has made me stop and look in awe at the newest prop additions to the area, the most recent being his beautiful chaise longue!

This is now my go to studio, and I look forward to shooting here again!
