References for Rawpics Studio

I am starting to lose count of the number of times I have been to this studio. Rod was on hand to assist with setting up and advising on lighting when I needed help, and let Rose and I get on with the shoot when his assistance was not needed. I have always been impressed by the space and the props at this studio and look forward to many more shoots there. Recommended highly.

First shoot a Rawpics for a shoot organised by Gemma Varney. Great location and fantastic facilities which made the whole shoot a pleasure to do. Great to meet the very interesting Rod.

I plan to make more visits given the first class talent he has booked throughout the year.

Ghost Light Photography

My first visit to this fantastic studio, but it certainly will not be my last. The studio has such superb facilities, from a spacious shoot area with a huge white infinity curve, to interesting backdrops and a great selection of lights and modifiers. For models, a well appointed dressing room and an effective heating system make this a very comfortable space.

Studio owner Rod was on hand throughout to look after anything we needed. Whether it was providing drinks, moving furniture or advising on the best ways to light the different shoot areas, I found him always helpful and keen to assist me in getting the most from my visit.

Thanks for a hugely enjoyable visit.

Another very enjoyable shoot at this studio. Rod was on hand throughout the shoot to assist, if required, but allowed Faith and I to work together when his help was not needed. Thanks for the loan of the AA batteries, Rod, as I had forgotten to bring them. This is always a good studio, especially for circus style shoots with aerial hoops and silks, to visit and I am happy to recommend it again.

My 4th shoot at Rawpics, this time a studio day with Mystiquefay, Rod as all ways on hand to help with whatever you need, coffee flowed when ever it was needed, a great and well equipted studio, and very warm, a must this time of year.

Shooting the lovely Mystiquefay for the first time, I had 3 hours, as one tog, never turned up, so a good move for myself, we shot quite a few different images and I'm well chuffed with the results.

Rod as always makes me feel welcome to his studio and was great at communicating info for the shoot prior.

Shot yesterday at Rawpics Studios and was very impressed with the setup. Met by Ron (owner) and made to feel very welcome. The studio is large with many different set ups with a very impressive infinity wall.

Ron couldn’t be more helpful during my shoot and I will definitely be using his facility again.

I highly recommend.

WOW! Just had two days of shooting at the fabulous Rawpics Studio, including an all-day vintage group shoot event with the themes or Fred & Ginger and The Greatest Showman - modeling alongside Retro Rob!

The day went brilliantly thanks to Rod’s hospitality, pre shoot comms, lighting knowledge and hard work building sets and assisting the photographers.

Rawpics provides the perfect venue for events such as this with easy parking, spacious indoor and outdoors sets, a range of lighting kit and exciting props - and yummy refreshments!

Everyone had a very special day and we all created some iconic pics!

Massive thanks to Rod and Rawpics - I am still buzzing after yesterday and will be for the rest of the week and beyond - very highly recommended and can’t wait to be back.

Studio is a superb space and very well equipped. Rod is a great host and has an expert eye for great lighting.

Highly recommended booking the studio to all photographers will a creative itch to scratch.

Will be watching for future events and looking forward to using the facilities again soon.

Had my first shoot at Rawpics for a little while ( due to distance only) and it was an absolutely amazing themed duo shoot with Retro Rob and Melany.

It was in fact 2 very different group shoots and clearly there had been very much thought and pre-planning gone into these shoots by Rawpics, Rob and Mel - both themed shoots giving me and other photographers the opportunity to create beautiful, varied and amazing images. The images I came away with were magical and like no other.

It was a wonderful day producing an abundance of truly original and amazing images. Rod/Rawpics did the lighting and sets to perfection giving a great boost to all the wonderful images produced.

Rod is a great and courteous host and he always looks after and provides for his guests extremely well

Another great event at the Studio. This time with Retro Rob and Melany themed event the Greatest Showman and Fred and Ginger. Rod has grown his backdrops and props since last visit. I was a little worried it would be cold in the studio and over dressed. I should have worried it was nice and warm.

Throughout the day toping us up with drinks and snacks.

This was another brilliant shoot at RawPics studio which is well furnished with great lighting and different shooting areas together with a spacious infinity wall. Rod is the perfect host always on hand to give help in setting up the lighting and different props for the various sets. Rod had set up some coloured fabrics hanging from a beam looking like a spectrum of light, back lighting produced a great glowing affect. We were able to use this brilliant backdrop to create amazing pictures with Melany and Retrorob. Rod is also a brilliant photographer and has amazing, Inspirational pictures displayed around the studio. I can most highly recommend RawPics studio to all photographers and models

Absolutely brilliant! what a fantastic weekend of Photographic creativity and art!

So pleased to be back at Raw Pics again making some more iconic images with the help of Rod.

It's been a while since I have been at the studio but with Rod it's like it was only a day ago a lovely welcome and coffee and then a tour of some new sets arranged for myself and Melany on our Retro Rob and Melany Tour.

Two days of amazing creativity with Rod meeting all the needs of not only us but the photographers too .

Thank you so much Rod for not only a brilliant weekend but for all the love and dedication you showed .

Our studio day had to be postponed a few times due to rail strikes but finally we did it on Tuesday the 22nd and I am so happy !

Rod is upon all a fantastic person, very down to earth and so nice to be around!

The studio is AMAZING , very spacious and versatile with endless backdrop options and lighting equipment!

The day went smoothly and I had so much fun working from Raw-Pics! I'm returning back next year and can't wait.

Very highly recommended ♥

Back at Rawpics after the summer break.

Great to see Rod has invested in some new canvases which look fantastic and photograph even better.

I'd let Rod know in advance a couple of things I wanted to use and they were ready for me on arrival. Rod always goes that extra mile to make sure we have what we need and on hand to help set things up.

There is so much room in the studio its easy to move around and get set up quickly, so no time wasted.

Refreshments were offered on arrival and at frequent intervals. He makes a great coffee.

Yet another totally successful shoot and highly recommend Rawpics studio for your photography needs.

Another great shoot at Rawpics studio. Rod is the perfect host and understands that individual photographers want to create their own type of images. Lights are set up, backdrops provided and changed. Also a wide variety of models are booked to appear there. A great space to work in.

I had a shoot at the Rawpics Studio yesterday that was booked for us by the photographer I was working with. This studio is so beautiful! It is well lit and beautifully painted. There are lots of sections within the studio that are set up with interesting props and pieces of furniture that make excellent backgrounds and photographic scenes. There is a really wonderful changing room for models that has plenty of well lit mirrors and also an array of hats, silk fabrics and wardrobe items for a shoot. The garden is amazing and offers the opportunity for an array of incredible outdoor photography opportunities if the weather permits. Rod the owner was friendly and welcoming. He was helpful and kind and even made us plenty of cups of tea and coffee through out the day. It was the perfect set up for a really great photo shoot and I would recommend this studio to anyone looking for a great place to spend the day shooting or even filming. Thanks again for everything. ☺️
