This was my shoot at Rawpics, it will not be my last. Rod is a true gent, couldn't do enough to help.

The studio is amazing and well equipped I thought 4hrs would be too long, guess again. We all had lots of laughs in a lovely safe envirnoment.

Rod helped where needed and was always at hand to offer advice.

I can not wait to shoot at Rawpics again!

Myself and Tasha Jobbins had the pleasure of working at RawPics studio again, Rod was as always there for lighting advice when required. The studio is so well equipped with plenty of backdrops and props, we had an amazing time there and Rod is so obliging. The studio has a vast array of lighting so it’s very easy to achieve the look that you want. The main thing is at this studio it really doesn’t matter what level of photographer you are, you will get some great photographs, because all you have to do is ask if there’s something you don’t understand. So thank you Rod, see you at our next booking. I highly recommend this studio.

Had a fantastic shoot at Rawpics studio with J H H Photographic last week. I absolutely LOVE Rawpics Studio! One of my favourite studios to work in! Rod is absolutely fantastic. Extremely accommodating,always checking to see if we are ok and need anything. Tea and coffee always offered and he’s such a wonderful host! He has a verity of awesome sets to shoot with. I always walk away with stunning images working there. I Would HIGHLY recommend Rawpics studio if you haven’t shot there yet,you’re missing out! We are going to be planning a studio day together soon and I’m so excited. Thankyou for everything Rod you are one amazing guy! X

What can I say about Rod's Rawpics studio?! Well it is a fantastic place too shoot and create unusual images. Rod is a superb host and the studio is a perfect place for both experienced and novice photographers to see how a studio can work. Nothing is too much trouble for Rod but in addition he offers really good suggestions about possible alternative shoots either in the studio or outside in his wonderful garden. Highly recommended.

I had a great shoot at Rawpics last weekend where I modelled with KatePop as part of a workshop to Wellington camera club.

Rod was a great host, very warm and welcoming as always and the studio is looking great with lots of interesting sets and backdrops. I was pleased to be invited back to the studio given what a great experience I had the first time!

The studio is a great environment and very comfortable for models and having a break/getting changed between sets. I hope to be back in the not too distant future!

My first visit to Rawpics studio - Rod greeted me with a hot drink and a look around the studio, very impressive with some 3d backdrops and a massive white infinity curve area.

Rod was extremely helpful as I was doing some high key fashion, he set up the lights for me, if fact Rod was on hand all the time to help tweek this and that during my visit.

There are extensive grounds outside which I did think I might get to, but I ended up working through a few of the sets inside the studio finishing with the chaise.

Shot at Rawpics Studio for the 1st time last Saturday. The studio is a converted barn and has different sets and backdrops and a vast array of props to create different looks. There is also some grounds outside which you can utilise as well if the weather is decent. The studio owner Rod was always on hand to help with setting up lights and offering advice and tips. Rod was very friendly and professional and has created a very good studio with plenty of space to move around in. I really enjoyed my 1st experience at Rod's studio and can't wait until I get to shoot there again. I would recommend Rod and his studio to anyone as its definitely worth visiting.

I first visited Rawpics last month, and I liked it so much that I've already been back there for two more shoots.

It's big - very big! - and it's clean, comfortable and very well equipped. On my two recent shoots I've tried stuff that I hadn't tried before, so I had to be a nuisance and keep pestering the proprietor (Rod) for assistance. He was ultra-helpful and patient - I was delighted with the pics and I couldn't have done them without his assistance.

If Rod isn't fed up with my constantly asking for help, I'll definitely be back again. And again. And again.

I haven't been to Rawpics in a few years, despite being one of the first models to go when it originally opened its doors, so it was a real pleasure to see the growth of the studio!

Rod messaged me a few weeks ago to let me know he'd had WiFi installed, so I was able to host the first ever remote shoot in this fantastic space tethered from Ilminster to the Middle East! Rod was very accommodating, answering any questions I had promptly and was great with his communication.

When I arrived I was offered a hot drink and shown to the changing room which was lovely and warm! There's also a few basic essentials provided which was lovely.

During the shoot Rod was happy to move lighting around and helped as much as necessary.

Thankyou for yet another wonderful shoot, I hope to be back again soon!

Awwww YAY! Another visit to Rawpics.

This studio is really like no other, the space here is just phenomenal (and always very clean and tidy!!). Rod, the owner is always so welcoming and on board ready to lend a hand- which he did. Such a placid respectful man and forever making high quality improvements and developments, I love how something has always changed slightly or a new area had been developed, the amount of thought and detail is exquisite!

I can't wait to return and to be able to use the outside space. Thanks again Rod! See you soon!

First visit to Rawpics --- why, oh why, oh why did I leave it for so long before using the place? It's tremendous! I'd really missed out.

It's huge, it's warm, it's clean and comfortable, it's very well equipped, and the proprietor (Rod) is very helpful. My shoot yesterday was with aerial silks; it was the first time I'd done such a shoot, but with Rod's help and advice (and a first-rate model!) I came away with pics that were far better than anything I'd originally envisaged. I'm a very happy bunny.

I'm very much looking forward to more visits. Lots, lots more visits!

My first shoot at Rawpics, and I'm sure it won't be the last.

It makes a refreshing change to have so much space, shooting options and kit to hand.

Rod was an absolute star host, checking in every now and again but not interferring, and his was wiling to drop everything when I needed any help.

I'm so glad I booked a longer session (4 hrs) as I was able to get through pretty much all the ideas I had when I entered the space.

Another great studio day at Rawpic's, this time shoting with AJthmodel. Rod as all ways a great host, helped with the lighting set ups i wanted to try.

A nice warm studio on a cold day, and a coffee offered too.

Fantastic studio, very spacious, great infinity cove and a good selection of props and lighting options. good dressing room and nicely heated too. Rod is very helpful and always on hand. Recommended

First shoot back at Rawpics in 2024, for his studio day with Lyra.

Its like putting back on a comfy pair of slippers. Everything is where it should be and there are never any issues or drama.

Rod made the tea and produced the bits I'd emailed about previously I wanted to use.

Always on hand, but never in the way, Rod makes the sessions flow easily and helps you get the most out of the time you have.

Really great couple of hours and would highly recommend the studio to photographers, and also models looking for somewhere to host model days and tours.

I recently held a studio day here and had a brilliant time. Rod is so friendly and looked after me really well and kept checking to see if I was okay, which was so lovely. He made me feel really safe and welcome and kept me energised with coffees and by letting me put my music on. His studio is large and well-stocked with a variety of backdrops, lighting and props. He is a very skilled photographer himself and can be on hand to provide expert advice. I would 100% reccomend him and this studio.

So I've been dying to shoot here for so long! I've heard so many good things but never had the opportunity and I finally got it!

We arrived and were greeted with a very good cup of coffee to set the day off right, Rod then showed us around the studio (it's an amazing converted barn complete with heating!) and all the different sets then showed me to the changing room which is huge, and has a dressing table aswell as massive full length mirrors so you can make sure your outfit is perfect before heading into the studio.

There is several sets ready to go including an infinity wall and a 3d mechanic style backdrop (I've never seen anything like it and the images look so crazy!). We only had two hours booked and Rod helped us set up everything single set so we really got the most out of our time. (Moved lights around and helped direct the photographer on how to get the best out of each set and generally was at our beck and call for everything. He also had a very good playlist going on which always helps!)

We didn't use it but he also had a gorgeous garden that you're able to shoot in and loads of other props that we never even touched! (I am coming for that bath next time!)

Definitely recommend this studio, I want to move in!

Two shoots in two days in the studio. An amazing place with some incredible lighting. Rod is so helpful with all the lighting and nothing is too much trouble. My camera wasn't working properly and Rod downloaded my camera manual and worked out what was wrong and fixed it for me. So many different sets in the studio and just had a good feel ambience.. will definitely be coming back again . Thank you.

Just had my first ever shoot at Rod's amazing, and secluded studio (which being so spacious and well equipped, has several different shooting environments all under the one roof). Rod was so friendly and helpful with lighting, props and refreshments, and helped me tremendously in getting a great set of shots. I shall be returning as soon as I am able. Thanks Rod!
