References for PGD Modelling and Photography Studios

I had another fabulous remote session at PGD the other day. Garry was on-hand to move lights and sets as requested, tweak angles and all the myriad details involved in a studio shoot.

The studio had a range of props and accessories to enhance the images, and I took advantage of that. Similarly, we used a couple of the (many) sets, each set up and all the remote gear and lights moved quickly and efficiently.

The studio has one of the best remote setups I've encountered, and I highly recommend anyone considering a remote session to give PGD a try.

I have just had another wonderful shoot at this stunning studio and didn't want to leave! I took part in a duo shoot and was so pleased that Garry was on hand to help with anything that was needed. Tea and coffee were on tap as well!

PGD is a wonderful studio and has so many places to shoot that we didn't make it around all of the set options there was. The lighting equipment provided is fantastic as is Garry's expert help. Each area as multiple props in, which really help to widen the shoot possibilities in that area, and everything is moveable as well which is superb. The props have been carefully thought about to work well with the vibe.

Garry was super helpful, offering his help if required otherwise happy to stay out of the way. The studio was well equipped and kept lovely and warm. I loved working here and will definitely return in the future!

After modelling for a year, I finally had my first visit to the studio… and I hope it won’t be the last!

The studio is the perfect size and has many different sets and backdrops to use.

The studio owner is welcoming and always willing to help. He is such a lovely person.

I Had my first proper in person photoshoot at PGD today, WOW what a fantastic space. Garry was on hand to help with any lighting and also coffee, whilst I concentrated on creating images.

I used the main part of the studio through out the shoot.

Highly recommended without a doubt, hopefully a return visit in 2025.

Visited the studio today for a shoot in one of the hanging cages. It was a great experience and we got some awesome shots. Gary was really helpful from the get go with the set up and any other support that was needed. This was the second time I have been to this studio and it was once again a pleasure to model in. It was my second time having a studio day at PGD studio. I had really great experience working here. All the communication from Gary was spot on and he is an amazing host. He also helped me with the remote shoots, which was really great. He has fantastic setup which is very easy for remote photographers to use.

I have been to Leicester studio three time over last 10 days :)

Yesterday, the job I got booked for was a private lighting tuition by Gary himself.

I thoroughly enjoyed how Gary ran the day, he was very informative and organised. He also didn't forget about me and made me cups of tea on request and made sure the heater was on following me around the studio.

Lovely studio, I always enjoy coming back :) Thanks for having me again!

Not my first time shooting at PGD yesterday but my first time being taught lighting by Garry. Steve (fellow photographer/friend) and I booked a 5 hour session on lighting and we weren't disappointed. The time flew by and we learned lots of different techniques. Xenia was fabulous too and made the whole process very easy so on top of learning lots, meeting and working with a great model we also got some super cool images. Thank you

This was my first time visiting PGD and thankfully not the last! Garry was lovely and welcoming and the studio itself had everything you could need. It was clean, and the changing room had lovely facilities including two cubicles which is perfect if you're shooting multiple models. Especially appreciatively access to mains and an extension lead and the changing room and a bright mirror. Gorgeous studio, please book me here so I can come back more often 😂

Garry was my lighting assistant extraordinaire for my Swan Lake events, but as always, he is much more than that!

He is so helpful to myself and the photographers and nothing is too much for him!

Garry is an expert at lighting and cameras and always helps my events run smoothly.

I would highly recommend Garry and PGD, it is the most amazing studio and you will never walk away disappointed.

I attended a group shoot organised by Erica Mulkern at Gary’s PGD Studio in Leicester, a shoot with a Swan Lake theme.

From the moment I stepped through the door until I left, Gary was on hand to manage lighting, assist with camera settings and provide support to any of the photographers who needed it.

Gary set up 2 different lighting sets in the studio and then adjust both of them when the costumes and vibe was changing.

The lighting was absolutely on point and probably as good a lighting set up as I’ve experienced. Gary’s knowledge of the setups and also what the models needed to have them lit optimally was superb.

He has a fabulous studio, great lighting options and he is a dab hand at tossing feathers!!

My first visit to PGD was for Erica Mulkern's Swan Lake inspired event. The studio itself is spacious, well equipped and flexible and even has parking! Garry was welcoming and helpful throughout the shoot and his lighting skills are excellent. Highly recommended!

This was my second shoot at this studio, again one organised by Erica Mulkern, but this time with Xeniamodel.

Erica always organises shoots very well, and Garry was excellent at setting up the lighting and giving advice whenever needed.

Yesterday marked the first time I have visited PGD, what a great studio.

I was booked to attend a group shoot there and found the studio to be very well equipped, spacious, great model room and Garry himself was always on hand to help were needed.

Had my first shoot at PGD last Tuesday and I can't believe it took me so long to be there! Fabulous studio that is well equipped to create any look you might want. Owner Garry is wonderful, friendly and approachable, and made me feel right at home! He's also superb at giving photography advice and lighting so if you're joining one of the events there you are in safe hands!

Can't wait for my next shoot there (tomorrow!) and for many shoots there in the future. Do not hesitate to book here!

I had a remote shoot with Garry and PGD studio the other day with Meg Modelling. I screwed up the time and missed about 20 min but Garry and Meg were ready and we started right away and as usual Garry was on top of his game. He will do so much and with no complaints and it is so easy to shoot with him. I know it isn't that easy to shoot remotely because I've done plenty since Covid in early 2020 and Garry is a pro. I also like his personality and it really is pleasure to shoot with him. I will see him again, I'm sure. Thanks again Garry (and Meg.)

I recently shot at PGD Studios after booking for their model day which hosted Kitana Warrioress, and it was lovely and brilliant experience. Garry the owner was very friendly and helpful throughout the shoot and made sure that things ran smoothly. Shooting there was a great time and Kitana was excellent, even with some of the props we used, we managed to get some amazing shot out of the hours spent.

Loved shooting at PGD and would love to go there again very soon. Very much recommended! Thank you Garry and Kitana for the most lovely experience.

I recently had the pleasure of shooting at PGD Studios for the second time for a 1-1 and have attended a few group shots before, and I can't recommend it enough! I already have some more bookings confirmed at PGD Studios. The studio is well-equipped and has a fantastic atmosphere that makes the creative process enjoyable.

Gary, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and professional. He ensure that everything runs well and is always ready to offer helpful advice and suggestions and it adds to the overall positive experience.

Shot at PGD for the first time today, as had a studio day there. The studio is exceedingly well equipped with a full range of lighting, modifiers and backdrops, including infinith curve and many props! The changing rooms are large, with two curtained sections allowing mutiple models to use at the same time. Great parking. Garry the owner was sooo friendly and attentive throughout. Absolutely loved shooting there and really hope to be back. In fact, it's up there as one of the best, if not the best studio i've shot in. Obviously recommend!
