Back in business after a couple of months of lockdown. A pleasure to start shooting again and i'm delighted that my first shoot of the new 'socially distanced' era was at Myk's wonderful studio. Still as inspirational and creative as it always has been and Myk was the perfect host, as he always is.

It's a difficult time for all of us at the moment but shooting at Myk's felt very safe and everything is in place to ensure everybody can work comfortably and stick to the social distancing requirements.

First post lockdown shoot. Myk G studio is professional, well ran and also equally relaxed and informal - it's balanced. I love the way each time I return there's a nuanced change keep the studio always fresh and interesting. Myk's a good host and has made the necessary adjustments for safe operation in these post covid-19 times we find ourselves in. The music that accompanies a shoot is so eclectic also. Totally recommend this space, whether for a structured shoot with assistance on hand if you're a novice or Myk will step back and let you crack on as necessary.

It was so good to be back in my creative bubble otherwise known as Myk G studio.

I was made to feel as welcome as ever and we immediately started bouncing around ideas.

Myk has a total grip on the social distancing and all that entails.

It's a pleasure to add another reference to Myk's impressive collection. First, I have to thank Myk for a 1-2-1 tuition session that we did a little while ago. I asked Myk to help me sort our some issues I was having. He very quickly identified where I could make improvements and came up with a number of really helpful and workable solutions..Time very well spent and greatly appreciated.

Second. Yesterday, I joined Myk and two other togs for a workshop with Louise2. Another superb shoot at Myk's wonderful studio. I've left a number of references already, so I won't repeat myself. If you've been there, you know how good it is. If you haven't been there, you really should, and you'll wish you'd done it sooner :-).

100% recommended, always.

What more can I say about this amazing gentleman and studio? I always look forward to these shoots and I never come away disappointed.

Myk has a fantastic way of explaining the technicalities of a shoot and goes out of his way to ensure to leave his "creative bubble" with some breathtaking images.

I had the pleasure of working with Myk for the first time at his studio today. Myk is very welcoming, chatty, and relaxed and even kind enough to let me bring my little doggo with me!

Fantastic pre-comms, I found the studio easily and had a good idea of what Myk wanted to get out of the shoot. Myk gave me plenty of time to unpack, settle in and do some creative makeup, while getting to know a little about him :D I was also nice and warm in the studio which is always a luxury :)

Myk made sure I was happy at all times, he had a great balance of giving me some clear direction as well as stepping back and letting me do my own thing while shooting. I got to see all the images, which is always lovely.

The photos looked fab and I can't wait to see all the finished results! :D

I hope to work with Myk again sometime soon, 100% recommend.

I had another lovely shoot at Myk's studio.

I was hired to model for a photographer training session, and Myk was really great through out the whole time.

He is a very friendly and super helpful guy, and our shoots always fly by!

I definitely recommend him and his studio. x

Creative Focus

As a new kid on the block, as it were,(Jan 20).

I've been around several studios, which I enjoyed all of them immensely.

BUT! Myk G's studio just takes it all to another level, as far as I'm concerned.

I attended a group workshop there recently with the amazing model, Amethyst, and the whole experience was incredible. Myk's years of experience and expertise was very obvious throughout the session and I came away with plenty of food for thought and great images.

I would highly recommend Myk's workshops because they're great value for money, for his skills, knowledge and understanding,and of course the studio space, WOW!

He's also got a great personality, so if you want to learn this is the place to be.

I'v attended a number of shoots at 'Myk's Happy Bubble' recently and added a few references here to try and say thanks to Myk for creating such a wonderful environment for photographers and models to work in. I'll try not to repeat what I've said before but will add that the studio really is a collaborative, creative, relaxed and enjoyable place to work in. lots of different and flexible sets, excellent lighting to work with, always nice and warm with plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits available. All of the models I've worked with at Myk's love being there and all of the photographers leave happily, with loads of stunning images to add to their portfolio's and hard drives. Our latest adventures were with two wonderfully talented and hard working models, Vampire Princess on Saturday and Amethyst on Sunday. Two very different shoots but both of them very enjoyable, productive and educational.

The secret weapon that makes it all work is Myk himself, read the other 204 references that his happy customers have left here, they'll give you a good idea of what it's like to work with Myk but until you experience it for yourself, you'll never know what you're missing.

I hope to be working there for as long as Myk will let me and I can't recommend both Myk and his amazing studio enough.

I have attended several shoots at Myk's studio in Redditch. Every time there was something new and the communication is excellent. Myk G is a great photographer to learn from and a wonderful chap to work with. His studio is fantastic and himself is a master in lighting, his help was always appreciated.

It was a pleasure to attend a shoot yesterday at Myk G studio for first time which he had arranged with the sublime beauty Amethyst who I have shot with many time as she is an awesome artistic nude model.

The studio is versatile with ability to arrange many sets and a number of props are available. Three sets were used for the session with Myk being very considerate to make sure they were what were wanted and he set up lighting to achieve results as requested.

Myk is an extremely pleasant and professional person who makes sure anyone using his Studio will be accommodated with sets and lighting required.

Thanks for the effort in making the shoot enjoyable and help in achieving results.

I highly recommend Myk and Studio and look forward to using again.

Shot yesterday with the fabulous Myk G as always, we don't make a particular plan, just go with the flow and improvise on the day, i'm so happy with what we managed to produce. Everything just flows so effortlessly when working with Myk, and the versatility his studio provides really does compensate for the awful weather right now. Myk isn't just a photographer with extensive experience, but over the last year or so, he's become someone I hold very high regards of, as both a friend, photographer and studio owner. Always a pleasure to work with and be around, highly recommend Myk to anyone considering a shoot, and his studio is by far, the best studio in the Midlands. xx

I had the pleasure of attending another of Myk,s excellent group shoots yesterday, at his studio in Redditch. Our model for the evening was the lovely Victoria C. As always with Myk the shoot was great fun, perfectly managed and we were treated to some new and really effective lighting scenarios. Myk's always on hand to offer advice and help out if needed, he's also happy to let the photographers experiment and try out new ideas. A really collaborative and creative environment to work in. Models and photographers all relaxed and happily producing awesome images. Thoroughly recommended to all photographers and models.

I got the chance to meet this wonderful photographer this week. I was a model at Myk's local group shoot and I also booked his studio for other shoots.

He was an absolute pleasure to work with, easy to get along with, professional and friendly. I would highly recommend anyone to go to Myk's studio as it's such an amazing studio with lots of different sets to work with and it's also lovely and warm.
