I was recently modelling at a vintage American shooting event which was organised by Myk and it was such an amazing experience. It was first time for me to model at this type of an event but Myk provided me with all the information prior the shoot so that I wasn’t even nervous because I knew exactly what was expected.

The weather on the day was cold and wet but it didn’t stop us from having a very enjoyable shoot. Myk is such an amazing person and very talented and experienced photographer. Each time I shoot with Myk I learn something new and it really shows as each time we shoot together the photos are getting better and better. he’s very supportive and kind and it feels like I have a friend for life in him x

I cannot recommend Myk enough!

What a studio!! Lots going on with backdrops, feature walls, a bed, a bath and different furniture but not crammed in at all. Plenty of space to shoot from and highly recommend this studio.

Myk is in hand to help with any setting up, lighting or general advice. Although if you prefer, Myk keeps quiet in a sectioned area on his computer so you and your model can shoot 1on1.

Myk himself is really welcoming and the first thing he asked was if I wanted a cup of coffee which was welcomed.

Unfortunately Myk will be relocating his studio soon, but I am sure that his new studio will be just as good!

I had another wonderful shoot with Myk this week! I always look forward to working with him and once againI was not disappointed.

We tried out some different styles and themes and worked through a range of clothing.

Myk is so fun to work with and chat to. He's professional, respectful and an overall great guy!

I absolutely recommend him and his lovely studio! x

Hired Myk's studio for a couple of hours yesterday with Louise2, what a great shoot. I would like to thank Louise for all her patience and hard work and Myk for all is input. Myks's a bit of a tosser really, fabirc that is, but he keeps quite about that! LOL (Y) :D

Had a great shoot this morning with Myk at the studio following a visit last week with a photographer hiring his studio.

What a great shoot we had. Really easy going and friendly and took some lovely photos! Really glad me and Myk crossed paths! 100% recommended 😀

Myk is the friendliest studio owner I have met so far. I had a look at the space before booking and he showed me round and his space was very organised, clean and very diverse so the studio is like no other as its not just a backdrop area, there are tonnes of unique props and areas which is perfect to get so much different content! All the equipment was great and had tonnes of lights which really helps with cramming more in because you dont have to move around the one light. I highly recommend working in myk's Studios! Great conversation with him aswell, he is very helpful and humble and does not try patronise because I am a younger photographer. He gave me tonnes of things to help me improve my direction from his past experience in the industry so if you are new or organising your first shoot I highly reccomend working or even just speaking to myk!

Time i added another reference for this wonderful man and his fabulous studio. I've left several references on here already so i'll avoid repeating myself too much. Myk's studio has always been a creative and inspirational place to work and Myk is always the perfect host. An excellent photographer, tutor and friend. Can't recommend Myk and his studio strongly enough.

He always makes sure that his models are happy and feel comfortable; as well as being on hand to help the photographer, should they need it.

Myks' studio is an amazing place to shoot at because there are so many potential possibilities it's difficult to know where to start!!

I had an amazing time at a model day recently at Myk G's studio. The whole day was very enjoyable and the time went so fast.

Myk is such an amazing person and a great photographer to work with. He assisted me and the photographers throughout the whole day whenever we asked him to. We got to shoot together for a few hours in the end and the images we got are incredible! Myk has an amazing personality and I love working with him, each time I am shooting with him I learn something new which helps me to get better.

I honestly cannot recommend Myk enough!

FINALLY!!! Our paths have crossed. I'm so glad they did!!!

As soon as I opened the door I knew we'd get on. You arrived at my house on time, communication while organising the shoot was absolutely spot on and the conversation never stopped throughout.

Quality Not Quantity is how Myk shoots and I love that!!!!

What could I possibly say about Myk that hasn't been said before? :')

I had a studio day at Myk's studio yesterday and it was honestly the most enjoyable and easy studio day I've ever done! Myk made life incredibly easy for me by selling out the whole day well in advance and keeping me updated.

It's easy for a long day in a studio to feel repetitive but the versatility of Myk's space means you will never have to worry about that. The time really did fly.

On top of that, Myk is a brilliant person to work with and always gets awesome photos. He's great fun to spend time with and always makes sure everyone is comfortable. It's also clear that all the other photographers I worked with yesterday enjoy working with both him and the studio too.

We've already set a date for the next one- which probably tells you all you could need to know :D

Had a shoot with the wonderful Myk yesterday, first one after lockdown, the studio has had bit of a make over, so i was inaundated with new backdrops and props to shoot with. Myk and I have established a great friendship and working relationship, which I think was evident in the shots we got yesterday. Myk knows his stuff and how to get a great shot, he's a million laughs a minute but a professional demeanour is always maintained. A pleasure to be around and shoot with. Highly recommended x

'Im very happy to be adding another reference to Myks impressive collection. I've been very fortunate and have had the pleasure of working with Myk for quite a while. I'm a bit of a regular at his studio, if you've ever been there you'll understand why. It's a wonderful place, lots of different sets, props, lights etc, always inspirational and always great fun. Myk's always available to help out with anything you need or he'll leave you to do your own thing if you prefer. Either way the studio is a relaxed and friendly place where creatives can get comfortable and do what they do best. Don't take my word for it, read some of Myk's other reviews. They all agree, Myk's a great photographer, a friendly helpful and altogether Great guy to know and a good friend.

Can't recommend him highly enough.

Second shoot today with Myk and I travelled up to Redditch to shoot in his studio ! Was an absolutely wonderful experience ( I had never shot in a studio before) and was blown away by all the different styles and backdrops you can achieve in just one room ?! As usual Myk was a pleasure to be around , wonderful guy , very chatty and extremely laid back which made certain poses and levels very easy to achieve :) !!! What a top guy , one of my favourite photographers . I also brought my chap along for his very first shoot which he wanted to do some promo for his DJ material ~ and also for his own personal work. On behalf of jake he says Myk boosts peoples confidence effortlessly !! We both recommend Myk :) x

Where to even start with Myk!

Had my first shoot with Myk and being new to all of this i didn’t know what to expect but the minute I walked through the door to his studio I instantly felt at ease and as if I’d known myk for years.

Not only is he skilled behind the camera but he also possesses the rare skill of making people comfortable and confident in front of the camera. He’s so much to work with and always has an idea and an angle.

It’s no wonder he gets such good photos from everyone he shoots.

An absolute pleasure to work with and an all round excellent guy, would recommend to anyone and will never fail to get wicked pics
