Another great day with LilyMay at Matchbox studio.

Matchbox is a wonderful studio with everything you would need.

Will makes a great cup of tea. The atmosphere is very relaxed and peaceful.

I will definitely be using the studio again.

My first time at Matchbox Studio on a shoot today with model Rebecca Perry.

Access is good for a first floor studio, Very spacious with plenty of backdrop choices. Good facilities and Will is both friendly and helpful with everything including having great patience with my requests to set and adjusting the superb flash lighting to my liking.

Really enjoyed shooting there and what's more it is a very reasonable and competitive hourly rate.

Hope to be back again soon.

A great shoot today with Cate H. she had not used Matchbox before and Will welcomed her and made her feel at home. the studio was ready for use and Will is on hand to assist if you want and makes a great cuppa. the studio has great facilities and plenty of space and props

highly recommended and the studio are doing a range of studio days which will suit other photographers . when you have been to a studio day you will want to return again and again

I got some great shots of Simone the model using the old piano.

Will was very helpful with setting up backdrops and lighting.

I had the pleasure of having a shoot at Matchbox studio today. It was my first time, but it will certainly not be my last A very roomy and light studio, fine for natural light shots as well as a supply of many lights and props. My two hour shoot went very quickly, but I will be back, and next time I will try Will's tea.

Another shoot at Matchbox; model delayed en route, but Will could not have been more accommodating and easy-going.

I love the huge amount of natural light in this studio, but also the extensive range of lighting available if required.

Will also makes a great cuppa!

9th February 2017 this was the second of my two recent visits to Matchbox run by the very capable Will and made welcome on both occasions. The first was a TF shoot with Juls and her unicorns and other outfits. The unicorns were not alive but stuffed fluffy toys.

The second was an all day shoot with Laylalee. The studio is so well lit by natural light and so studio lighting was minimal. Will is very welcoming and is on hand to assist where needed. The facilities are well laid out and the various props which include a bed and a piano and are easy to handle.

I have no hesitation in recommending Will and the studio 100% and look forward to my next visit

I had a great shoot yesterday at Matchbox studio in Gloucester.

Matchbox has everything you need in a studio, great natural light as well as studio lights.

Will is a wonderful host, with plenty of tea available if required.

I would definitely work there again, and hope so soon.

Today I had the great pleasure of working with Hazard Kitty at Matchbox Studio in Gloucester. The studio has everything you might want in terms of lighting with a large number of 600W heads and all the facilities you might expect to find. On top of that there are a number of great sets offering the ability to change not only the appearance of the shoot, but also the mood of the shoot. On top of that, there are large windows allowing plenty of natural light.

If that weren’t enough, Will offers a friendly welcome and nothing is too much trouble. His expertise is a welcome addition to any shoot, always being on hand to help when required.

I used Matchbox for a shoot last week.

The facilities are very good and there were plenty of lights and equipment and props to make use of.

Will was very hospitable and took the time to show me around and was available to advise on set ups and provide refreshments.

The studio is highly recommended and I will be going back there.

I had my first shoot at Matchbox as it is a little out of my area.

I really enjoyed it. The space is large and well equipped with loads of props to wet your appetite and inspiration. Plus natural light too.

Will was really helpful and hospitable.

I will not hesitate to use Matchbox again should the opportunity arise.

Third shoot at Matchbox and another very positive and enjoyable experience.

As before, great range of equipment, and you gotta love the natural light in this studio, even on a grey day like today.

Add in the support and supply of tea from Will, and you have a fantastic photography resource here in Gloucester.

I worked at Matchbox on a 1960-s themed shoot which required quite a lot of prep work. Will was really patient and helpful the whole time. The studio is beautiful and really well-equipped and not far at all for anyone travelling from the Bristol area. Highly recommended!

I'm the guy that doesn't like shooting in studio environments.

So when I say I love Matchbox Studio it speaks volumes, trust me.

A superb combination of great kit, great props, and fabulous natural light throughout.

Most important of course is the approach and attitude of the studio owner.

Will is an absolute diamond who is friendly, trusting, there to help but never obtrusive, and makes a good cuppa.

Think I've found my photographic home-from-home.

Highly recommended.

An Eye for Beauty

I've long wanted to go to Matchbox but while enduring terrible traffic I thought I would never get there! Will was extremely welcoming and relaxed and this stressed photographer soon settled down ... It helped having the lovely Claire Topaz with whom I have worked several times as the model. There was only time to use some aspects of the facilities but with natural light a possibility and a variety of interesting backdrops and props, it is going to well worth another visit next year. Will manages to balance availability without being obtrusive and is someone who obviously has the care of models and photographers at heart. Highly recommended. I hope to be back next year when the journey, location and premised will be familiar.
