I had my first studio shoot at Matchbox Studio and i must say it was a very positive experience. Stephan was very helpful.

There are plenty of props and backgrounds available and when i got stuck for ideas a few times Stephan was more than capable and willing to give advice.

The only down side was I was 'forced' to drink too much coffee and was 'bouncing off the walls' lol.

Highly recommend and cant wait to go back again.

My third shoot now with Stephan at Matchbox, and Im sure it wont be my last as it will take a while to exhaust all the different options, props and backgrounds. Feels really comfortable and I love it ..... And you get a great cup of coffee and welcome too :-)

I had a great shoot at Matchbox studio yesterday!

It's a great space, it has good access to natural light as well as studio lighting equipment. Great backdrops and lots of props.

To top it off the customer service is brilliant, Stephan the studio manager was on hand to help out during the shoot and he provided us with plenty of coffee! (He makes a great cuppa :) )

I hope to visit this studio again soon.

Very good shoot at Matchbox studio with model Simone recently. Good studio lights with all usual attachments and different areas to shoot in . Natural light a possibility with a couple of windows on one side.Plenty of props with coloured material and chairs, stools, sofas and an interesting mural with a Renaissance theme.

Owner Steve very welcoming, available if required and a good tea maker!

My first shoot at Matchbox Studio, with model Vega La Vamp. Stephan, the studio owner, was the perfect host, offering refreshments on arrival, informing us that he would be on hand if needed but then leaving us to it without any unwanted interruptions. The studio itself has a wide range of studio lights, modifiers, backdrops and props as well as good natural light should you wish to use it. Highly recommended and I'll definitely be booking again when I need local studio facilities.

A second really great shoot yesterday with the natural light just beautiful, flooding in through the window. Only just beginning to scratch the surface of all the props, backgrounds and materials that Stephan has stashed away so I will definitely be back again - Feels really nice and relaxed and highly recommended by me

What a great studio to work in. Lovely range of backdrops and different props to work with and as much or as little help with lighting as you need from Stephan who is just so nice to work with. I enjoyed every minute and I would love to come back again and again. Thank you

Had a great shot at iSpy with Claire Topaz. Second time I have used the studio and Stephen is great; he leaves you to it but as soon as you ask for some help with anything he is there with great advice.

It is a nice big room with plenty of natural light and studio lights. I will be back again at the end of Feb.

Had a photoshoot at ispy studio today. It was first time shooting in a studio and I couldn't have wished for a better place. Stephen was really nice and always ready to help. He was very helpful with the lighting and I soon got a hang of things myself. The studio is very spacious, neat and well laid out, with a lot of nice props and loads of lighting kit.

Will definitely recommend and I hope to visit again.

I had my first shoot at Matchbox Studio in January. The studio is well laid out with natural as well as studio lighting with plenty of props. Stephan is a really nice guy, very helpful and keeps photographers and models well supplied with refreshments. I was able to create some lovely images in the studio and will definitely return to shoot again in the studio. Thanks so much Stephan for your use of the studio, help and making the shoot such a great and relaxing experience.

Straightforward and uncluttered space: Stephan is helpful and unpushy.

Wonderful natural light, and sensibly-chosen light modifiers on the flash units.

A selection of nice (and tasteful!) props and furniture: all you could want from a studio, really, unless you either want to shoot cars, or desire a series of room sets above everything else.

I had the benefit of arriving with my model, Simone H (also highly recommended!) so I had no trouble finding the studio (it's well marked, but in a side-yard in a big complex of units).

And, a real bonus compared with so many places - it's both clean and warm! It may not matter to most of us togs, but models really appreciate places where it feels good and pleasant!

Nice studio. A little hard to find but I had a guide. Equipment was excellent and a wide variety of sets and props. Shame it was an evening shoot and couldn't take advantage of the natural light. Very spacious and Stephen is a very pleasant chap.

Great studio space with everything we could possibly have wanted :) A fantastic range of chairs and props and plenty of room to work in. Stephen was lovely, offering tea and coffee and making sure the place was warmed up and ready to go on arrival.

Highly recommended and I hope to visit again soon.

I shot at the gorgeous I-Spy studio last week and loved every minute of it - Stephen was extremely welcoming, giving me tge grand tour upon arrival!

It's a beautiful and versatile space, which has loads of props and back drops - perfect for any genre:)

Can't wait to shoot in this studio again, and of course see the wonderful Stephen again!

Stephen was on hand to organise certain things and re locate. Very friendly and a very well laid out studio. Plenty of room to work in and managed to get some amazing images.

Will defo work there again. Highly recommended

Ghost Light Photography

I had a tremendous time working with Alisa Rae at this studio. It had everything I wanted and more. Loads of natural light meant I did not need to use the many various flash heads and modifiers, but Stephan was kind enough to show them all to me in case. He was also on hand to help move furniture and provide refreshments as needed. We even went so far as to black out the studio for some low key work as well.

Emails were responded to quickly and efficiently so that Stephan was ready for us when we arrived.

Thanks Stephan. If ever I need a studio in Gloucester, this is the place for me.

I had the pleasure of working at ISpy last week.

As usual Stephen was bubbly & made us feel at ease, showed the lighting and was on hand to make drinks and help with moving furniture abouts; whilst still giving us enough space & privacy to shoot.

The studio was warm, full of natural light and with a variety of backgrounds and props we were able to make some lovely images.

We have worked in iSpy studio numerous time over the years yet never left a reference!!!!! Its time to put that right.

The studio is a great space to work in with plenty of options for backdrops and props. The choice of lighting available is great and the studio owner is very helpful and accommodating. The kettle is always on too!
