What a wonderful space, it has fantastic natural light opportunities from the Windows. The room is divided up into different sections with lots of different props available. Will is extremely helpful and willing to help with changes of background and 'ya' basic coffee making skills - star!! I lost a prop cup and I must say Will went the extra mile to help me find it. Excellent communication and customer service. I will certainly think to using his studio whenever it's cold outside!!!

You know that awful moment when you realise that your planned location shoot is scuppered? And how on earth are you going to keep the shoot booked without letting the model down?

Step forward and take a bow Matchbox Studio, hired at short notice and perfect for the shoot.

Proprietor Will is personable, friendly, and over three hours he managed the delicate art of being available for support without ever being obtrusive. Nothing was too much trouble.

Matchbox is a great space to work in, whether you want an orthodox flash set-up, or you want to try something different; And here's the real beauty - there's also great natural light flooding into the workspace.

I'm already booked in for a second shoot, and this from a man with an aversion to studios! Highly recommended.

My second visit to matchbox studios, this time for a two model shoot with SimoneH and VictoriaSummers. The studio has some great equipment and this visit was as good as my first visit with the proprietor on hand to offer assistance and advice if needed, but always taking a step back so as not to be in the way. A first class studio in a great location with good parking.

First time shooting at "Matchbox Studio" today. Very impressed with the large well set up studio area, offering differing walls giving a large selection of backdrops to add to your images. Owner Will was on hand to help set up scenes, but did not impose or interfere.

I will definitely be returning to this studio.

I had a great shoot today at Matchbox studio with Simone.

The owner, Will, was brilliant, I arrived early, welcome cup of coffee, chat about what I wanted to achieve, then Will sorted out all the lighting and sets whilst I put my feet up and finished my coffee.

The studio is greatly equipped with everything you need to take good pictures. Plenty of tea and coffee on hand and help if you needed it, makes this a great experience.

Booked up to attend a group session on the 2nd September.

Studio Highly recommended.

Attended a three hour taster evening with studio owner Will, the lovely Hazard Kitty, and a handful of other togs. Will was great from the first minute, helping us carry in our gear if needed, and then throughout the evening. Some people knew exactly what they wanted, and Will was always on hand to help set up the lights and other studio equipment to how it was needed. For those like me, who hadn't really given it much thought - he had lots of ideas, and was only to eager to share his experiences with us. Basically if you're a studio pro, he'll just let you crack on and just keep you topped up with tea and biscuits, or if you need your hand held - he was there to help.

This was the first such evening, and so Will was very keen to get feedback. Each of us had three stints with Kitty, of around 10-15 minutes or so, which I personally found was plenty. Between shoots, those of us not shooting with Kitty chatted about photography, and that was a lot of fun.

As for the studio itself, it's a decent size with tons of gear and props, along with all the amenities you'd expect from a professional studio. Will has lots of plans for the place, including regular group evenings and workshops, and I'll certainly be returning! Highly recommended.

each photographer had a slot then sat and chilled thinking and learning from the other photographers in the use of the equipment

Had a great shoot with Hazard Kitty yesterday at Matchbox Studio in Gloucester.

Communications were good. She is friendly, chatty and enthusiastic. Happy to try things new to her, she worked hard throughout the shoot and delivered some great poses.

I would certainly recommend her and be happy to work with her again.

Studio well organised with plenty of props choices. Host is brilliant and the overall hospitality at the studio great.

I would certainly recommend Studio and Hazard Kitty to any one who willing to have great time and fantastic oportunity to deliver real pure photographs.

Had a group shoot at Matchbox Studio with Hazard Kitty this week. The evening was well organised and help was available to adjust lighting requirements when needed.

There is loads of space for different setups and good natural light through the old industrial window.

Would recommend the venue to others.

Attended a group shoot at Will's studio last night.

The shoot was very well planned and organised with opportunities for each photographer to choose his individual style and props during their slots. Throughout the evening will was available and willing to provide any necessary guidance or assistance required in a friendly manner.

Hazard Kitty was the model and worked hard throughout the evening to work to each photographers requests.

I would definitely recommend both the studio and Hazard Kitty and hope to work with both again soon.

Another super session at Matchbox; as always Will is a gem.

Fab range of equipment and props; comfy sofas to relax on, loads of space and parking outside the door all make the experience so relaxed and simple.

I had a great day at Matchbox studio, once again. Such a lovely studio, has lots of quirks and feel really nice and homely. Will has just taken it over and he is doing a really great job, excellent tea making skills. Looking forward to seeing how the studio develops over time and I hope it's not long until I go back!

I had a lovely 4 hour shoot in the studio. The process from booking to arriving was easy and Will made us both very welcome when we got there. The studio has some great sets and props to use and a couple of windows that give plenty of natural light. I would recommend any photographer either experienced or a beginner try out this studio. Great session today at Matchbox for our catalogue shoot. Bags of parking and plenty of help from Will in lugging our clobber and in the setting up ... Much appreciated.

Loads of space to work in, tons of gear and a nice relaxed friendly atmosphere.

I used Matchbox Studios for the first time on 15 March. Great Studio plenty of kit and props. Stephen was on hand to help when required. Good rates I would recommend this studio and plan to use it again.
