Great to back at this lovely spacious studio again. Nice warm welcome from the new owners. Very professional set up,they even went out to buy a mirror to suit our requirements. Biscuits and tea/coffee flowing well.

Bonus working with the fabulously bonkers duo of Layla Lee and Scarlett Blaze.

It was my first time at the studio and have to say it will not be my last!

Hannah and Mark have made this hidden gem in Gloucester a brilliant space, They are both so kind and caring and willing to help out where ever they can but still allow you the space you need to create.

The studio having its natural light and lots of sets and props is an added bonus, having a dedicated area to allow the models to change and have their own space is also brilliant. Hannah and mark take good care of the environment your working in and the studio was heated and clean, in my books one of the most important things.

Would recommend this place without a doubt.

P.s if you enjoy tea or coffee both Hannah and Mark are brilliant at making a brew :P

Beautiful studio owned by a lovely couple Hannah and Mark, very friendly, caring and helpful. Lots of stuff to play with, especially loved the red backdrop. Great lighting including natural light through the windows.

Felt comfortable throughout and had lots of fun. Would love to come back again for more fun! Highly recommend Shadow Studio to anyone.

Had the massive pleasure of shooting at Shadow Studio on Sunday with its new owners Hannah and Mark .Iv known Hannah for a while so was great meeting up again. First time meeting Mark but hopefully not the last. There awesome hosts Friendly and so helpful, Nothings to much trouble for them as they strive to make your day a happy one as well as a successful one, and very considerate to the Models comfort

Great natural light to play with through 3 large windows good choice of backdrops and some awesome large props.

There ideas for the future development of this Studio sound well exciting The effort they have put into it already shows they mean business and the place is well worth a visit .

100% totally recommended and I really hope to visit again in the near future and again and again :) This is a great place for seasoned photographers and perfect for the beginner looking to start out with expert and friendly help on hand in both natural light and flash light. Thanks guys for an awesome day, Both Rosie and I had such a great time and will be back, we discussed a few ideas in the car driving back to Berkshire

Came back to the studio for the first time in a long time and had the pleasure of meeting the new owners. I've always loved the space here. It's one of the few studios that has an abundance of natural light (with three large windows) and the ability to use studio lights effectively. That versatility makes it a great place to work.

Mark and Hannah are doing a fine job of putting together everything a photographer and model would need from a studio. Even though they're new owners, they've already made some great improvements and I'm sure the studio will go from strength to strength under their ownership.

I'm very happy to recommend Shadow Studio and I know I'll certainly be back to use it again soon :-)

Had a 4 hour shoot here today - my first shoot at this studio - and I highly recommend it! In fact it's the best studio I've worked in as it was easy to find and park, we had a very friendly welcome and were made cups of tea and coffee, the space was large with 3 beautiful big windows, each one different and with an industrial look to them - perfect for making shapes against - and there was a fantastic range of backdrops (including a roughly plastered wall), and a range of top quality props. I'd love to shoot here again and can't recommend it enough :)

Spent a couple of hours this morning getting to know the owners of this superb studio. I have been looking for a space to run workshops in the Gloucestershire area and I have, without doubt, found a great studio. The two owners are very relaxed with a clear vision of the style of studio they are looking to run. You will find it difficult to find hospitality on this level in this industry. I wish Hannah and Mark all the luck int he world, looking forward to shooting there very soon.

I recently attended a networking day at Shadow Studio with a photographer friend of mine. The studio is gorgeous, lots of natural light, which is something that I'm not used to. This studio is also really spacious, and you can tell they've been working hard to make it their own.

Hannah & Mark were incredibly welcoming and they make fabulous hosts - I would definitely recommend working here and I hope I can do loads of shoots at the studio in the future.

Had my first shoot at Shadow Studio (since it changed from Matchbox). Met Hannah and Mark and what passionate owners they are. A few things have changed at the studio since I last shot there and all for the better. The studio is looking slicker and the plans they have for the studio sound fab. I normally use the wonderful natural light in the studio, but the shoot today required use of the studio lighting, which was easy to use and so easy to move around the different areas of the large studio. I highly recommend Shadow Studio as you get the best out of both worlds, natural and studio light and the future looks really bright and interesting under the new owners. Thank you, Steve

Hannah Mark and Jasmine are incredibly welcoming and friendly and so helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them.

I was so impressed with the studio and the owners that I wanted to book a model day there and then.

Had a great shoot at Shadow Studio yesterday. Beautiful space broken down in to a couple of different "sets" to shoot in.

Hannah met us at the door and was friendly and welcoming and made a great cup of coffee.

I look forward to booking more shoots at the Studio and will definitely recommend it to togs I work with.

A most excellent studio!

I filmed some short scenes for a film project at Shadow Studio on 15th October, and can highly recommend them! - Great service and happy to go above and beyond to accomodate.

Very much recommend the studio, and the future plans for expansion sound not only exciting, but make shooting at Shadow Studio again a must!!

Having worked many times at the former studio known as Matchbox Studio this was my first shoot under it present name _ Shadow Studio. Worked with in house model & co-owner Hazard Kitty (Hannah); it is a very well equipped studio, with many flash heads, various light modifiers copious props, backdrops and other necessary equipment you'd expect in a professional studio. I like it for the wonderful natural light streaming through its windows (albeit British weather permitting.

Mark and Hannah are a delightful and very helpful couple who have ambitious plans to improve the place. Like replacing the flooring, increasing headroom height and other physical changes which will put Shadow Studio at the top of the list of first class studios.

This is a studio which I very highly recommend and prize and which I will definitely continue to use.

Firstly I have to say congratulations to Mark & Hazard Kitty in their venture to relaunch the studio. It's a lovely space with lots of options and they have ambitious plans to improve it further.

Had a fantastic shoot with Mark and Hannah yesterday. As a relative newbie to portrait/studio photography I was immediately made to feel at ease and was given all the guidance and support I needed - i.e. with lighting set-ups, posing and post-processing. The result was that I got some stunning shots of Hannah at the end of the day. I was really pleased with the results and feel inspired to explore this side of photography more extensively. A great working space which is being developed and improved, while it has great natural light I blacked it out for a shoot with some of the many flash units they have to choose from.

It is a nice size of space where you can shoot full length comfortably with an 85mm lens.

A recommended studio, I will probably use again if I'm in the area.

I just love the atmosphere of this place with its beautiful natural light and spacious feel. It also very well-equipped with high-quality lighting gear and must-have accessories including a nice meaty boom arm which I think is a must. Mark & Hannah are lovely and genuine people - the perfect hosts and the whole experience here is great. Many thanks for that !

This was my first time shooting at the Shadow Studio. I found it to be a large and excitingn place to use with multiple locations, props and an extensive range of lighting equipment to get the perfect picture. I look forward to having the opportunity to work there again in the future.

Good shoot at the new Shadow Studio, it is similar to when it was the Matchbox Studio but changes are being made, lighter walls and some new props.

It is good for natural light but has plenty of studio lights.

I hope to go back soon.
