Mark runs a good studio, clear and uncluttered and airy one of the nicest studios I’ve worked in. He was on hand to assist when the flash did’nt work correctly resolving the problem quickly. Good location in Gloucester easy to find with ample parking. Shadow has change hands several times over the past few years, but talking to Mark he knows what needs to be done to keep it going. All I’ll say is you need to us it or you’ll lose it. It would be a pity to see another studio bit the dust. I cannot recommend Shadow Studios highly enough.

My 1st visit to Shadow Studio. It’s easy to see why Mark and Hannah have 200+ positive feedbacks. Great natural lighting there, one of my ‘must haves’ for a studio. I will be back.

This is the second shoot I have had the pleasure of having at Shadow Studios. Hannah and Mark are so friendly that its an absolute pleasure seeing them. They make you feel at home and so welcome.

The studio space is epic and I used various backgrounds which gave my shots a unique look which ive not had before.

I fully recommend Shadow Studio :)

As always, Mark & Hannah make a shoot at their studio a great experience. It's a great studio for model shoots, with multiple options for backdrops & scenes. Mark pre-set the studio & lighting for me as I requested and was available to make an invaluable suggestion about lighting, when asked, during the shoot. It's also great to have the discretion of the studio being separated from the office, so that the photographer & model can work alone.

Great studio, great owners, perfect for model shoots. I'll be back.

Shadow Studio is now my favourite "local" studio. Mark and Hannah are excellent hosts - nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are already good but they have plans to add props and scenes to extend the variety of shots available. I particularly like the beautiful natural light through the warehouse like windows onto the white infinity cove coupled with the opportunity to black out the studio for lower key shots. Planned black-out blinds will make this even more effective. Highly recommended.

Just had a great shoot at Shadow studio with Hannah. The studio is very well equipped with various backdrops, lights and modifiers.

Everything is very clean and there are a number of props that can be used. There is also plenty of natural light, allowing shooting without lights if preferred. Both Hannah and Mark are very friendly and helpful with lighting assistance when required.

Definitely very highly recommended and I certainly aim to use the studio again.

I shot at Shadow Studio twice last week and I will be returning next week & a lot more over the next few months.

Hannah & Mark are totally fabulous, warm, helpful & they both do make a pretty darn' good cuppa tea. They always make sure the studio space is clean and warm, I can't fault Shadow Studio and always look forward to returning!

Today was my first shoot at Shadow Studio. Both Hannah and Mark were incredible friendly and chatty. It was a really enjoyable shoot.

Their studio is really nice - natural light, lots of lights and modifiers to use. Mark gave me tips for lighting ideas and Hannah was great with some artistic ideas.

I would recommend the studio, and I'll be back there in two weeks. :)

Another shoot at Shadow Studio today, this on was for a fashion/beauty shoot for a non model friend of mine. As per usual Hannah and Mark turned up early, were there usual happy selves and helped out on the set up for the shoot.

The shoot was great, the studio has everything I could possibly need and is nice and clean. We were left to ourselves to shoot with occasional knock on the door to offer us a well received cuppa. Brilliant stuff! Can’t fault the place. Thanks guys!

First time in Shadow Studios this morning, booked a couple of hours just to test some lighting ideas for a couple shoots I’ve got planned and have a look at the studio.

First time meeting Hannah and Mark and I have got to say they absolutely rock! Very easy going, great fun to be around, we had a blast!

The studio itself is a great space, lots of room, clean, well equipped with everything you’d need. Not only that but there was a never ending stream of coffee too! What more do you need?

Already got two shoots to book there and I will be using this place a lot, really chuffed to find a studio like this that’s close to home. Thanks guys, I will be seeing you again soon!

This was my first time working at Shadow Studio and I really enjoyed my time there! Mark and Hannah are a great team and really know what is needed for photographers and models. They were on hand to assist in anyway. They bought me lunch as well which was so lovely of them and I really appreciated it!

The studio itself is a brilliant space. Loads of natural light which is just wonderful! Plenty of different props and areas to use. Mark is really skilled with lighting so is always there to offer assistance which is great. I particularly enjoyed working by the windows, on the sofas and with the piano. I really hope I get the chance to come back and work here again. Great couple and studio, highly recommended from me! Thanks guys!

I had my second visit to Shadow Studio today, this time for a shoot they organised with the wonderful Elle J.

Mark and Hannah were very welcoming. Mark happily helped moving props and changing the backdrops and provided assistance with the lighting. There is also wonderful natural light through the big old factory windows.

Prior to the shoot the communications were warm and professional.

As this was my first proper steps into studio photography I was quaking in my boots when I arrived but Mark and Hannah could not have been more welcoming and instantly made me feel comfortable.

Mark and Hannah were always on hand if I wanted advice or assistance, which was very gratefully received, but also were happy to stay out of the way in another room when I didn't. Mark also had the knack of explaining things simply and without blinding me with science.

I can't claim to be an expert on studios but I was pleased with the layout and facilities. There were also lots of props available.

I will definitely be booking the studio again and am also now looking at some tutoring sessions.

Shadow Studio has undergone a complete revamp; as a studio environment, it has taken a quantum leap forward, now rethought, reimagined, and redesigned to make a shoot there as positive an experience as possible.

Even more impressive than the range of equipment at Shadow is the atmosphere created by Hannah and Mark. They could not have been more welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. It made for a very comfortable environment in which to shoot.

As a hobbyist photographer who has an uneasy relationship with studio work, I found Mark’s readiness and ability to share knowledge and skills impressive and very reassuring. He has an ability to make the complex sound and feel achievable.

Hannah brings a depth of modelling knowledge and skills to the mix, showing great patience and understanding during the shoot, and continually demonstrating her innate sense of what is required for an image.

Julia, the in-house MUA, was the icing on an already amazing cake, bringing her extensive range of make-up to create the looks required. I do not think I had truly appreciated the art form that is make-up until today!

The team that own and work at Shadow Studio are the beating heart of what is a vibrant, creative environment. Gloucester’s fortunate to have this resource and these creative, pleasant people running it. And the ready supply of tea was excellent!

Had a shoot at Shadow on 20th June which was fabulous. Hannah and Mark are really welcoming people, the studio boasts lovely natural light and is clean, has fully working equipment and plenty of props - also a sale rail with lots of goodies for models, which is great.

One of the two are always on-hand and happy to help with moving / finding things if necessary and were quick to offer us a drink once we got there.

I'd definitely recommend the studio and will definitely be shooting here again, thank you for being fabulous hosts!

A nice studio space with lots of great plans which I hope to see progress.

Mark and Hannah were both really welcoming and gave a good introduction to the studio and their plans for it.

I was shooting with Hannah but Mark was on hand for any general and technical assistance required.

The studio in addition to a great white area has a lot of beautiful natural light and old style factory windows. There are a number of props that can be used.

I was very impressed with the operation and will definately be using Shadow Studio when shooting in Gloucester!

So if you want to work at a professional but relaxed studio book here, relax and enjoy yourself.

Mark and Hannah where very welcoming and helpful throughout the shoot when required and I had a great shoot there. The studio has been improved since they took it over and I am sure it will get even better as their plans for the future are implemented.
