Chris had organised some virtual studio sessions of which I booked a couple of hours. All the lighting was spot on, and any adjustments made that I requested really quickly. It was a great experience and I recommend this to anyone who may have any doubts. The images where amazing good quality and the mood boards I sent where brilliantly duplicated lighting wise.

I signed up for one of Chris virtual studio events, first time I’ve ever done something like it but Chris made it very easy, he was happy to set up any lighting sets I wanted and offered suggestions which helped. Was on hand throughout the shoot in order to alter lights or camera position. Was a great experience and I got to shoot whilst sat in my home in my pjs lol what’s not to like! Would hugely recommend to anyone to try it, I plan on booking another slot.

Chris Conway is an extremely talented photographer and I was particularly impressed by his leadership and organisation for group projects. Pictures turned out absolutely amazing! Would love to work with him again!

I attended Chris's lighting tutorial group shoot as the Model for the day. What a great day it was and a great experience!

Chris was welcoming and friendly on arrival. Understood i had a long journey so i had time to settle in and grab a drink and snack.

Chris organised the shoot brilliantly and his professionalism stood out as well as his talent! The shots he took were fantastic and he knows exactly how to get that perfect image which was taught on the shoot to other photographers. The timings were spot on and he had completely different set ups ready for each outfit.

Chris was respectful towards me and others throughout the shoot and i highly recommend! All of Chris's images have that wow factor. Hopefully get the chance to work with him again in the future :)

I went to a model tuition experience day hosted by Amie Boulton and Chris Conway at Trident studio in Plymouth and it was absolutely brilliant.

Chris is just so talented and possibly a bit magic too! :)

His work is just so impressive and to be photographed by him was an honour.

He's also a lovely guy and the day was awesome fun.

I attended Amie Boulton’s modelling tuition day, in which Chris was the photographer, yesterday. It was just brilliant! Chris is ridiculously talented and his work straight out of camera showcases his skills.

It was great to work with him after admiring his work for a long time and hopefully won’t be the last!

In Search of That Perfect Shot..............

Had a fab time with Amie and Chris on their portfolio builder evening at Studio 33. Chris arranged 5 different sets for 6 photographers in 3 hours and I'm sure we all got some great results from the evening. It's not the first time I've attended one of their shoots so knew it would be amazing. Many thanks, Jann :)X

I was lucky enough to attend a Monochromatic/UV workshop run by Chris at Inspire studios.

Chris has a natural ability to express his experience in photography, with regards to "in camera" settings, angles, and effects for the final image.

I shot many great images on the workshop and enjoyed learning from one of the best in the business.

I would attend other workshops in the future knowing that it will be an asset to my own work.

I would recommend Chris to anyone attending workshops or portfolio building.

I booked onto Chris's monochromatic workshop he was bringing to Inspire Studio in Salisbury a few months back, my first step into real model photography . He was pretty much all set up and ready to go when we all arrived....and his attention to detail is succinct. He kept us all up to speed with camera settings, helped me with my camera when it wasn't quite right and answered any questions. He certainly knows his stuff and I came away with so many great images that I'm really enjoying editing. I'd certainly book another workshop and would probably travel to Plymouth to his studio for some more tuition....thanks Chris.

Chris is an excellent tutor and very highly skilled in retouching.

Worthwhile enjoyable workshop, highly recommended to any level of photographer.

Pre coms were good and everything was to a great professional standard.

You won't be disappointed! So many perfect set ups in the 4hrs we had with a good variety to switch things up.

My second time attending one of Chris's events. This one 'Ambient Light and Flash'. Booked the full day - both portfolio builder and the workshop.

Chris certainly runs an efficient event, some may say ruthlessely efficient. But this ensures that everyone gets equal opportunity. There are no group shoot scenarios, no shooting over shoulders - your shoot time is fully 1-to-1.

On the workshop, keen to share his knowledge and approach to his lighting techniques, willing to answer questions. plenty learnt - now need to attempt to implementation myself.

Well organised event, and hope to attend others in the future.

Attended an off camera location lighting group workshop run by Chris. He's an excellent communicator explaining lighting and demonstrating the lighting set ups in an easily understandable manner. With KellyK the model, Chris led the group of us six photographers through a range of lighting set ups in different areas of the absolutely amazing Clock Tower dwelling-place, with plenty of time for each of us photographers to shoot one to one with KellyK to achieve stunning images. A very good learning/skill building experience in a friendly group setting. Highly recommended.

I just attended one of Chris's Location Lighting workshops ably assisted by Amie Boulton and Kelly K as the model.

The workshop was well organised and presented and covered a number of different scenarios and I for one learnt some useful tips which I can incorporate in my future shoots.

I will look out for future workshops by Chris and his team. Highly recommended.

Attended a portfolio builder group shoot organised by Chris in London. I don't normally attend group shoots as they tend to result in a free for all, or one or two photographers hogging the model or shooting longer than everybody else.

This did not happen. This group shoot was structured. We were instructed how the shoot would happen and how long we had to shoot.

I came away with some awesome images. and look forward to attending more group shoots organised by Chris.

I have attended few workshops and portfolio builder which Chris has arranged and they are always so informative, fun and various lighting setups and you always you go away with tons of information and fantastic images.

These time I had booked for the group gel workshop with him and Alex and 1-2-1 outdoor lighting tuition with Amie and him. He absolutely is super knowledgeable ,awesome photographer and always answers all your doubts and makes sure you go away with good understanding and amazing images.

He has completely changed my perspective of using lighting outdoors and images speak for it

Highly recommended for any of your commercial work and tuition. Definitely will look forward to his new workshops and portfolio builders

Here's the thing. What you want from a Portfolio Builder type event is a good few really good shots, maybe of something you've never done before, which will really boost up your portfolio. And that's exactly what you get when Chris Conway organises one. Pretty much guaranteed.

You get a model who can work solid for 3-4 hours with maybe 6 costume changes and still deliver on the last frame. You get 5-6 setups/scenes and lighting changes that absolutely work ... because Chris has meticulously planned and/or scouted each one.

What you DON'T get is a load of faffing around and a 'group shoot' that descends into a 6 photographer free-for-all ... because Chris just doesn't let that happen.

You get what it says on the tin. And super value for money.

This was my 2nd time with Chris, The 1st was on one of his lighting events with Amie Boulton,

Chris was polite, professional and helped everyone get amazing images that day with his different lighting set ups,

He was happy to answer any questions people might have and also helped anyone struggling with settings or any other issues making sure they were happy with the images they got,

I took loads away from this event and try and add it to my own way of shooting, If you have never been on one of his events I really recommend that you do,

My 2nd time with Chris was on Sunday this time Chris was holding a photoshop event,

I was a little worried about this as I am not the best and thought it might be too advanced for me, but Chris made everyone comfortable, found out what each individuals experience was then went from there,

What I liked was how he broke each section down in Photoshop, talked about it then showed you how it was done,

I made loads of notes and took so much away from this course, I just need to put it all in to practice now,

Again I recommend you go on these course's when he does them again, well worth the money and the time

Well I’ve known Chris for a while now, and jumped on a few of his workshops and portfolio builders.

Chris has a massive amount of knowledge and when I’ve been on his workshops I’ve always walked away knowing I’ve learnt something.

The lastest workshop Chris held was his photoshop one which I jumped on straight away.

This was held localish to me .

I walked away one happy fella after learning his methods.

Once again Chris thank you.

And know doubt I’ll be on another workshop in the future.
