ABOUT ME 
I’m Sharon….a 50 something female photographer from Dorset.I was a mature model on here for around 5 years so can help newbies with posing and styling advice, I’m also DBS checked and understand the importance of models feeling safe and respected, I’m especially happy to work with new and underage models and have no issues with chaperones. I’ve been taking photos for around 3 years, have learnt a bit about studio and strobe lighting but prefer natural light. My biggest influence is a female British fantasy photographer called Kirsty Mitchell who creates breathtaking imagery using real styling and set building where everything you see in the picture is actually real and not photoshopped in, I hope one day when funds allow to create work along the same lines but for now I do work on the same concept all be it on a smaller scale.

STYLES 
As I’m sure you can see from my portfolio , portraits are definitely my ‘thing’ but I’m just happy with a camera in my hand and willing to try my hand at most genres as I believe shoots should be a joint input from all involved. I rarely shoot anything above implied nude and certainly nothing above my models levels and only what’s been agreed in advance.    

          
RENUMERATION
My preference is TFP and this will always take precedence, from a tfp shoot you will receive ALL usable J-pegs plus around 10% of edits of your choice plus any I choose. All jpegs will be added to a Dropbox file of which you will have full access, the nef files are what I edit from and will not be shared unless by a previous arrangement. I do occasionally book onto group shoots , I tend to keep an eye out for these and book directly. If I’m looking to pay a model it’s generally for a specific idea and I will put up a casting, I don’t appreciate cold calling. Please also note that if I'm paying you I'm not obliged to give you an images, if you feel you would like images from the day this needs to be discussed beforehand and a part pay/part images agreement met.

TRAVEL 

I have a company vehicle so I’m able to travel to you at no extra cost, if your travelling to me or a location of my choice I will help with travel costs. If I’m coming to a location of your choice I would not pay your travelling expenses.

LOCATION

I can shoot from my flat in Poole with some notice, I have some great natural light and a well decorated and uncluttered space. There are also plenty of beaches and outdoor spaces nearby. I can also book a studio but you would need to get yourself there…I usually use The Art Asylum Reloaded in Weymouth.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

I’m a pretty good dressmaker and stylist, I also own lots of dresses, costumes and headdresses. I’m happy to create items to a brief but this would only be on a pre agreed tfp shoot that we are collaborating on. I’m happy to also take paid bookings if you like my work and don’t want to wait for a tfp space, please enquire for more information.I work full time so generally only shoot twice a month at weekends and get booked up about 6 in advance.

I’m particularly interested in speaking to and booking models for paid shoots who have an USP ( unique selling point) . Extensive latex collection, high end fashion and amazing make-up skills are some things I’m always on the lookout for.
