It was a pleasure to work with Chris again down at his studio in Plymouth for 2 different events.

We did a portfolio builder and a beauty workshop over the 2 days last weekend.

Chris's events are super organised, everyone get's their turn to shoot and no-one is shooting over shoulder's.

Chris is a really good teacher and passes on his knowledge in a clear way and explains things without it being too over complicated for new photographer's. His lighting is amazing and creative, you won't be disappointed.

I was really happy to model for his workshop and group shoot and images I have seen coming out are fantastic.

Chris kindly asked me to model for one of his group shoots yesterday.

His lighting setups are top quality and incredibly technical, you can see chris clearly has a affinity for photography and epic light.

He creates 5 unique setups, each working beautifully.

He is absolutely one of the best photographers around and gives help when needed on the group days.

I had a good laugh and everyone was very accomodating of my hideous cold!

Highly recommended by me and get yourself booked on one of his portfolio builders!

It was the second meet with Chris, this time for one of his portfolio builders at Studio 33.

It's already quite clear that Chris is a first class photographer, certainly amongst the very best on PP. Thankfully he's also very generous with his extensive knowledge, approachable and was patient enough to answer my onslaught of daft questions :)

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you jump on a place in a workshop / port builder when advertised in your area.

Ive worked with Chris before.

Chris is very professional and knows his stuff ( very intelligent ). While on this Gel workshop I had many questions to ask, which Chris put me in the right direction.

If you ever have the opportunity to work with Chris please do as he is great at what he does :).

I worked with Chris for the first time when he was up-north(ish). I attended a portfolio builder session as well as a 1to1 session with him and the fantastic Amie Boulton. Loved every minute of it and picked up so much information from him (which was kinda the point). Amazing just how much of the lighting fundamentals I thought I was fine with I am now questioning! Thanks once again Chris...can't wait to try and put the things learnt in to practice soon.

If Chris’ mind and skill sets as a photographer was to be given to Zeus to create a human being those attributes would create the most beautiful being that mankind has ever seen... How does he live with it?

In Search of That Perfect Shot..............

Attended one of Chris Conway's group shoots held at Map Studios with Aimie Boulton on Sunday. Aimie was fabulous to work with, had some stunning outfits and did some awesome posing. It was my first visit to Map Studios but it won't be my last and it was my first experience of one of Chris's events too - will definitely be looking out for more! Lovely warm friendly people, many thanks guys - Jann :)X

A superb day attending one of Chris’s workshops yesterday. Well structured and run with the right mix of tuition between theory and practice and I came away learning tons.

Excellent communication throughout the day, an amazing model to work within Amie Jayne Boulton and support from Michael White.

Highly recommended for anyone wanting to raise their performance with lighting and use of gels.

I had the pleasure of booking Chris for a 3 hour 121 session at Map Studios in Loughborough last week.

We started with the basics including the principals of lighting and worked through various setups and scenarios.

The lovely Amie Boulton was the unlucky model to assist :)

I attended a second portfolio building event with Chris last week in his studio in Plymouth this time. These are amazingly well run events and Chris does pick models who really deliver on the event. And with Chris's eye for styling and a great lighting setup you just can't help coming away with a good number of images to add to your portfolio. Highly recommended both for newcomers and experienced photographers alike.

I attended Chris Conway’s Portfolio Builder event at Kingsweston House today. It was a well-thought out and well-run event. Chris did an excellent job creating five diverse and interesting sets, which made it easy to create images I’m very pleased with. There were only 5 other photographers and we each got one to one time with the fabulous model Amie Boulton. This is the first time I’ve done an event of this kind and it was such a positive experience I’d certainly consider another.

This is the second group shoot I have done with Chris and I am very impressed with his organisation and professionalism which together produced an excellent and informative day. I came away with over 500 shots from 10 different sets and plenty of lighting knowledge as well. He has a very efficient and friendly team too. Highly recommended.

I was due to attend a workshop with Chris and Amie Boulton that was unfortunately postponed due to the weather. I couldn't make the re-arranged date so took the opportunity to get a few hours with Chris and Amie in his studio for some 1 to 1 tuition.

Chris has a nice, easy way of getting his message across, the session was well structured even though he had little if any time to pre plan it. He is also fun to be around, the time flew by.

It was extremely useful, both re-enforcing existing knowledge and adding an awful lot to it!

Highly recommended.

I have been lucky enough to work with Chris Conway at the Natural Light Spaces Studio in Northamptonshire, Windmill Art Studios in Cambridgeshire and most recently on his home turf at Studio Hire Plymouth shooting the gorgeous Romanie Smith. A fantastic Light workshop and group shoot. I have learnt so much from the Master of light himself ..... I might have to start calling him Yoda now he is a Vegan lol .... Light Workshops and Group Shoots with the very fast paced, talented and gorgeous Amie Boulton are always so much fun. Chris is uber cool to work with, professional, extremely talented and has a wicked sense of humour which i love. He makes learning fun, always there to offer a helping hand or face book live video when you least expect it : ) I love his little dream team aka Amie Boulton and Mikey aka White Label Photography ...... i feel like this little gang of three just became a wolf pack of 4 ! I would highly recommend working with Chris and that is why I have booked another shoot with my wolf pack 'we are more than friends we are a small gang" at Loughborough in November !!!! Eeeeekkkk super excited see you soon Christoph !! Remember I am bringing the t-shirts with me 'I am your number 1 fan' ....... Did i tell you i am a fan of Stephen King lol...... See you soon !!

This was my second workshop with Chris and Amie Boulton and the first time I have returned to someone who I have been with before. What I do like about Chris and his workshops is the high level of detail and professionalism that goes into the planning - from the initial details and plan of the day through to the instruction and lighting set up themselves.

In essence the quality is superb. Just flicking through my images, and even for a relatively inexperienced guy, I've come away with a bundle of images that have made me ask 'did I really manage to get that' - well yes I did but only due to the experience and effort put in by Chris and the team.

I just love these sessions and would recommend to anyone please give these workshops a go.

I attended a workshop with Chris and Amie at Woodbridge studios.

Chris is brilliant at what he does, very easy to understand and very friendly. His method of teaching is great, easy to follow and he explains why he placed the lighting and modifier like this.

I highly recommend anyone from experienced or beginner to attend one of Chris workshop or group shoots as you will learn a bunch of stuff.

Worked with Chris on a recent workshop he was running in Camberley.

He teaching technique is the classic..."Explain, Demonstrate, Imitate, Practice".

He first tells you what to expect and how to do it, then sets up and shows you how to do it then lets you do it for yourself followed by a period of practice.

He and his team are great fun to work with and be around and he is always happy to to answer questions.

I couldn't be happier and will soon be returning to another workshop when I can.

I attended the wonderful Wind Mill Art Studio Event with Chris and Amie. I want to thank them both for giving me this chance to experience a workshop. I hope to attend another workshop Chris puts together or work somewhere else in the future. He was great guidence and helped boost my confidence.

I attended Chris and Amie location lighting workshop at Windmill Arts Studio. Chris was pro active during the more hands on portion checking that you had the right settings and also receptive to all question, although I was shot down in flames a few time I was never made to feel a dummy. I think that it is always great to learn new techniques and I did. Chris had a difficult time due to the adverse weather condition but adapted to the conditions.

I would recommend any photographer, beginner or experienced to attend Chris's workshops especially with Amie Boulton as the model.

I would recommend any model to work with Chris.
