I doubt that I will ever tire of shooting with Carla.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting a whole host of art-nude single and duo sets during a wonderful half-day with Artemis Fauna and An Eye for Beauty. Carla is so very accomplished in this genre, and with the most minimal of guidance she bought every one of my ideas beautifully to life within a few shots, and then exceeded them! She is a dream to work with, and always a pleasure to catch up with.

A truly lovely shoot all round yesterday, and I very much look forward to the next one. In the mean time, I highly recommend Carla to all!

An Eye for Beauty

Yesterday I enjoyed a shoot with Carla and Artemis Fauna at the latter's home in Malmesbury, along with Somersetman. We did some 1:1 and some duo, and it was a lovely relaxed 4 hours. This was my 15th shoot with Carla and I can never have enough creative time with her. It was the first shoot of 2019 but certainly won't be the last. Carla is such a delightful person and I feel really at ease with her, and of course we produced some lovely images in (for me) a new context. She has that sweet 'girl next door' temperament, but while that is one of her many looks she is a model of many and varied expressions, and never fails to deliver. Until next time, Carla.

I’ve been a naughty studio owner, and owe Carla 2 references, without realising that the one I wrote in January, didn’t save :(:( Sorry Carla.

So where do I start, I’m going to be reference 762, so you will have already recognised, that your on the page of one of PurplePort’s top models, and your not wrong. Carla is purely and truly one of the most “perfect” models in the industry, not only does she have the most outstanding beauty, her personality is equally, if not more so, just as beautiful, she’s walking perfection and “then some”.

From the moment Carla walks in the door, your mesmerised by her beautiful face, her gorgeous hair, her fabulous figure, and her sheer presence enlightens any room she enters. She is amazing at making everyone feel at ease around her, and so many of PoZers photographers have been so nervous to meet and work with her, eagerly anticipating her arrival, and within seconds of being in the studio, you watch their eyes light up with her beauty, then as she greets them with her warm and wonderful welcome, you see them breathe a sigh of relief, as her warm and dolcit voice fills the room with calmness and relaxation. Carla is such a kind, caring and patient model, from full on strong professionals, to brand new photographers, she makes everyone feel at ease, and calm.

Carla does everything from portraiture, fashion levels, up to tasteful art nude, and this beautiful young lady looks amazing in every genre, for me, a portrait of Carla Monaco is priceless, Carla’s face is flawless, her skin is stunning, her makeup is natural and beautiful and her hair is always in such amazing condition. If you want a strong model for fashion, Carla’s your girl, you just need to look at her portfolio to see the images, that could easily sit on the front of Vogue, Elle, Cosmo, and her fashion poses are amazing.

Through the last century, to present, From 1930’s Hollywood to 1960’s Chic, Carla can master it all, from classy lady to edgy street looks, there’s nothing she doesn’t look amazing modelling, she’s a phenomenal all rounder, which makes her unique, as so many models get hooked on one genre, Carla can nail them all.

Thank you Carla for being such a dream to work with, thank you for being so kind and caring to all my clients, thank you for being so creative at my workshops, and making every moment a pure pleasure, and so much fun. First ever shoot with Carla today, been wanting to shoot with her for quite a while and boy was it worth the wait. A superb professional model. Arrived early and brought a great selection of outfits. Made herself up perfectly. The real key to Carla is the fact that she is a true professional, great repertoire of poses, who knew there were so many portrait poses you could do with just a bunch of roses! Carla is fun, chatty and great company. I really hope I get the chance to work with this amazing model again soon.

Carla modelled for the third time at one of my workshops and it was fabulous to work with her again. Amazing wardrobe, relaxed atmosphere and beautiful posing. She's one of my absolute faves and I love working with her - I always get lovely feedback about Carla from the workshop attendees, and this one was no different. First shoot with Carla at Paul's studio... we had some great backdrops to work with but it was an immense pleasure to shoot and create some great pictures with Carla - besides having great looks and figure, her long flowing blonde hair was a very attractive feature; she is very easy to chat to and work with, very professional and great at posing with or without any direction.

I had wanted to have a photo shoot with Carla for a long time and at last my dream came true yesterday. What a fantastic shoot it was - three hours booked at Paul’s Studio. Carla more than lived up to my expectations and I came away with absolutely amazing photos. The three hours flew by and she was superb and very easy to get along with. Went through a number of different genres and all were relaxed and a pleasure to shoot.

Without a doubt, I will sort a second shoot. 100% recommend.

I spent a great evening in her new home studio in the company of her and Adrian. As ever Carla was an absolute delight to work with, very relaxed and chatty, giving maximum effort into making the shoot enjoyable and a great success.

Carla's home studio is well equipped with plenty of room to shoot and Adrian makes a fine cup of tea.

It was a very enjoyable shoot with a relaxed atmosphere. Carla as always is a dream to shoot, with several changes of clothing and with help on hand if needed from Adrian just made the session superb. Highly recommend, Thank you.

What a fantastic first shoot with Carla and Adrian at their home studio where the were hosting one of their events Fashionista. It was a very well organised event and very enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere. Carla changed outfit 4 times during the 3hrs. Adrian was there to guide and help you however much or not you wanted.There was also 2 others photographers, which was the perfect number for the event. I will be definitely looking to booking another shoot Carla and Adrain again, it was so easy to get fabulous images working with both of them. Highly recommend, Thank you.

You know how it is when you meet a legend? All nerves, worries etc.

I met this legend and nothing like that happened. This young Lady is welcoming, inspirational and puts one at ease immediately.

Totally professional and yet fun, great conversation, great participation.

Great shoot with Carla at S4 studio in Birmingham. This was a joint venture with friend and fellow photographer Kevin Rutterford. Subsequently, we both unreservedly agreed, that Carla is a wonderful model and thoroughly professional in all that she does. Her depth of knowledge and appreciation for what a photography needs is so good: and made the day, so enjoyable. It was really great working with Carla and I would highly recommend her. Furthermore, I very much hope to organise a location shoot: late spring or early summer.

So this was my 5th shoot with Carla since the summer and my 3rd with Carla and Adrian, need I say anymore.

Well actually most certainly.

Each time I have come away not only learning a huge amount from Adrian, especially about studio lighting, but the big bonus is being able to capture such stunning images of Carla whose modelling skills are so amazing.

The combination of working with this dream team is really quite phenomenal. As I’ve intimidated before the chemistry between is quite infectious, making the whole experience a true delight.

Having the ability to put into practice that which they have both taught me and produce good results, makes my relationship with these two wonderful people so worthwhile.

I so look forward to my next session to study with them.
