Had a great shoot with Carla on her studio day at The Studio KLP (Cheslyn Hay) on Sunday. I have shot with Carla many times, can't remember exactly how many, but Sunday was awesome as ever. We got some great results and I can't wait to work with this lovely lady again soon. Best wishes, Jann

Carla is an amazing model, this my second time shooting with her and it was a Bardot v Twiggy shoot organised by Carla with Amie Boulton.

Carla is the consummate professional and just flows from pose to pose with no direction needed that said Carla is always willing to take direction if you have ideas of your own and it is this flexibility and her professionalism that leads you to getting amazing shots. I cannot wait to work with Carla again at the end of August.

If you get the chance to work with her don't give it a second thought you will not be disappointed. Thank you Carla for an amazing day.

Carla was a model that was on my ever expanding list of models to work with and I was fortunate to see her casting for a 1960's themed duo day with Aime Boulton. How could I resist. A wonderful model that is not only fun to work with but also very professional and wow did Carla hit it with the styles. I am so so pleased with the results and would love to work with Carla again - such a talent.

This was my 1ST shoot with Carla doing a duo shoot with Amie Boulton on her 60s Twiggy vs Bardot event, Carla was a real pleasure to work with, never a dull moment,

Beautiful, Sexy, Hard working (as she organised the shoot event ), Fun, is a few words how I would describe her, She flows from pose to pose effortlessly, has loads of outfits at her disposal,

Carla churns out amazing images on every shoot I have noticed, which is why I have for so long wanted to work with her,

This amazing model gives her all, does not need any direction but will happily take it if you have something in mind, I could quite happily work with Carla on a regular basis she is that good,

Another excellent themed shoot with Carla and Amie Boulton at Map Studios. Hosted by Carla's husband Adrian who was on hand to help out as well as setting up each set.

Carla was Brigitte Bardot, the transformation was amazing. She is so easy to work with, very skilled at her posing and look while at the same time making the photographer feel at ease.

I hope Carla and Adrian will be organising more events like this at Map. Highly recommended as a model but also for this kind of specialised event.

This was my 1st shoot with Carla on a 60s Bardot v Twiggy themed event organised by carla. The shoot was well planned and Carla was excellent as Bardot with plenty of differnt sets and outfits - they even included two scooters.

Carla has a lovely personalty, fun to work with,extremely talented very professional, she seams to move effortlessly into different poses and nails it every time and is just so wonderful to work with.

Looking forward to working with Carla again.

Lovely to work with Carla again at the Secret Garden event with Artemis Fauna and Ivory Flame.

As always Carla was her usual friendly, chatty self, posing effortlessly and looking exquisite. Carla is not only great to work with 1 to 1 but she poses so well with other models and always ensures you get great images.

I can't recommend her highly enough; she should be on every photographers "want to work with" list!

An Eye for Beauty

My 17th shoot with Carla was mainly a Regency costume event. Two years ago in a similar vein and at the same country house we did the first of my historic costume books, for the 200th anniversary of Jane Austen's death. This year Carla was joined by Roseanne and we did a duo shoot and I look forward to preparing yet another photo-book. The two models who had only met briefly in the past worked incredibly well together, and I am especially grateful to Carla for styling the hair of both of them. This gave a particularly authentic look. There were 2 pairs of dresses, bonnets, etc. for fashion style, but also a couple of period nightgowns for some more intimate pictures.

We did a few other more general themes and I think all of us thoroughly enjoyed the 4 hours. I now will have the fun of selection and editing. As always Carla is a delight to work with. Nothing is too much trouble, and I count myself very lucky that I am able to work with her so regularly. Until the next time!

It's a couple of years since I last worked with Carla, and was very pleased to be able to shoot her again. This time it was at a Secret Garden shoot organised by Artemis Fauna. A wonderful location and Carla looked just great in every shot. She is so easy to work with, very relaxed even though we were working on a short time schedule. And is just so beautiful in every pose. Some really pleasing images were the result, hard to select from because every one is just great.

I highly recommend Carla and hope to work with her again before long.

This was my third shoot with Carla, this time as part of a particualy enjoyable evening attending one of Artemis's Secret Garden events, where Ivory Flame and Artemis also modelled.

It is difficult to add much to her 822 References, except to say it is a real pleasure to work with Carla. She is such a charming, engaging, easy going natural classic beauty. She readily puts you at ease.

Additionally Carla, Artemis and Ivory Flame work so very well together, they seem to naturally compliment eachother's poses, and readily exchange ideas between them so that there is little need for refinement by the photographer, a huge benefit when trying to work quickly as we were at the secret garden.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Carla Monaco.

How do I write a reference for Carla? I am sure everything positive has already been said many times before.

My only thoughts are that if my memory card had room for just one more photo, I would save it for Carla.

Carla is not only the most amazing and professional model, she has a beautiful and warm personality to go with it.

I have been lucky to have three shoots with her and everyone has been very different, but all with incredible results.

If there’s a photographer out there that hasn’t shot with Carla they are definitely missing something in their portfolio

Shooting with Carla absolutely lived up to my expectations and indeed exceeded them. She had been on my "want to work with" list for ages, and so I was really pleased to hear that she would be at Artemis Fauna's "Back to the 70s" shoot at the Hacienda.

Carla is an impeccable model - fun, expressive, possessed of an easy grace and absolute command of her body and the ability to imbue her physicality with mood.

A great day working with Carla yesterday on Artemis's 'Back to the 70's' event at The Hacienda.

Carla nailed the vibe from the 70's with sublime styling, posing and elegance with each set that we shot. Complete waste of time even thinking about direction as there is no need, suggest a set or an idea and Carla simply delivers time and again.

As per the many, many references below, absolutely no hesitation in adding yet another recommendation.

Great to work with Carla again during three of the four days of Artemis' 70s event at The Hacienda. Carla worked great with Artemis, but also worked great with the other models during the days of the event. She got the theme of the event to a tee with outfits, styles and poses that produce some stunning images. Great on set when not in front of the camera talking with the other photographers, keeping the social media for the event current and great person to talk to and socialise with as well. Looking forward to working with Carla in the future.

Carla has been on my radar for some time but yesterday at Artemis Fauna’s “70s Shoot” was my first chance of working with her. It was certainly worth the wait!

She is easy to talk to and she poses well with or without direction. As with the other models on the shoot she had gone to a lot of effort to ensure the “70s look” was as authentic as possible with hair styles and clothes.

Definitely a fun shoot and hopefully will get another chance to work with her in the future.
