This was my 3rd shoot with Carla and she just gets better and better. Carla turns up as though she has just stepped out a page in Vogue, makeup perfect and a wide selection of outfits. Carla is very professional but also so easy to talk to. Had 3 hours shooting and it flew past. We created some amazing images and I can not wait to work with Carla again. Highly recomended.

Sometimes … a Photoshoot is much more than just a Shoot. At the end of the day … we are Human's and sometimes we just Love to chat.

I started on Purpleport about 4 years ago, and on some of my first photoshoots a Model commented, that Carla Monaco was one of her favourite Models.

That comment did stay with me for all these years, and finally, I had the opportunity to shoot with her.

The images are amazing despite that "My natural light" was not what I wanted, but sometimes you do have to work with the elements.

Sometimes you need something … sometimes you are in search of answers … sometimes you need to talk … sometimes you are just in need of more images …

Today … I had the Photoshoot that I needed. A Beautiful Model, a Beautiful Person …

I had the pleasure of a 2 hour 1-2-1 shoot with Carla at the 2Gstudios. It’s a long time since I have enjoyed 2 hours in Oswaldtwistle so much! Carla was everything you would expect professional skilled the time flew by. She could pose effortlessly nothing was to much trouble we changed setups from time to time I found the best thing I could do was not to try and direct to much just catch the moment as she moved.

I had the pleasure of working with Carla a second time this week at a 2G Studios shoot, having first shot with her 18 months ago when I was brand new to portrait photography. It's no exaggeration to say she is simply still the best model I've ever worked with.

I'd decided to shoot some video as part of this shoot, which I'm very new to! She was super patient and accomodating, understanding exactly the style and film-making I was going for. On camera she always brings a special combination of grace, poise and sensuality. Stunningly beautiful, fun and engaging she's a dream to work with.

Can't wait to work with her in the future again, couldn't recommend anyone highly enough!

I had a really great first shoot with Carla last week in Liverpool. It was so easy working with her as she's an absolute pro and her experience and skills in front of the camera meant we got through so much variety in looks and styles during the shoot than I could have hoped for. I'm a little behind with editing, but I'm so happy with what I've seen so far.

On the day, Carla was really lovely to work with - super nice and friendly - the shoot itself just flew by.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Carla - I would 100% recommend her to anybody and it would be great to work with her again if she's ever in the area.

Although I have worked with Carla several times in the past I had not picked up my camera for over a year so after being persuaded to get back behind the camera and shoot with her and the lovely Nicky Phillips that's exactly what I did. Thanks to Carla's good humour and endless patience I fell straight back into the swing of things.

Carla knows exactly what will work and and produced endless poses, her professionalism is second to none, making the whole shoot so enjoyable.

Had my third shoot with Carla last weekend. Time with Carla is never enough. It is an absolute pleasure to work with and be in the company of such a beautiful and lovely lady. She is the ultimate professional.

Nothing is too much trouble for her and she knows what works and what doesn't.

Full of energy and creative ideas, she is an exceptional model either solo or with others as she was with Nicky on this last shoot. They worked seamlessly together and their costume changes were exemplary and flawless.

So many beautiful images makes selection a difficult but pleasurable task.

I've worked with Carla twice previously on assisted shoots, this third time was at the Rainbow Studio in Manchester, less assisted with me working the shoot sets much more but with some practical assistance from Gary McIver and Dave Edwards particularly with reflectors and studio backgrounds. As always it was a delightful pleasure shooting with Carla, she took fully on board the various ideas for the shoot I'd messaged her pre-shoot, she showed personal interest in my own photography 'journey', she's very easy to get on with and she was utterly professional throughout the whole two hours shoot demonstrating her very versatile range of posing skills whether it be without or with direction. We covered four shoot sets ranging from fashion up to art nude, two sets in areas away from the studio but still inside the old mill building and two sets in the studio, the first set using available light, the rest using off camera flash and appropriate modifiers. I've looked through the images we achieved, I'm very pleased with them and I look forward to selecting my very best favourites to edit a bit and then upload on my portfolio on here. Needless to say Carla is very very highly recommended.

Does Carla Monaco really need another fawning reference? Probably not, but I couldn't find a single word to criticise her about.

I've been to studio sessions where in pre-comms I've asked if the model could bring... whatever. Nothing demanding, just a straightforward request. Only to have it ignored. With Carla, I made it easy. "Whatever you know you look good in; as long as its not nothing". (I don't shoot nudes very well). But, there's the thing with Carla, she'll look good in anything, everything and probably nothing. That made it all the more amusing when no matter what I suggested she might have, she had pretty much the right thing in a bag that could only have come from Mary Poppins.

With a flawless complexion, perfect make-up, posing techniques which should be an entrance exam to the profession of modelling, and every outfit I requested, even I couldn't take a poor picture of Carla. Couldn't even take an indifferent one. Not even a so-so. With 278 shots fired off, of which 5 were light tests, how on earth do I choose between the remainder?

Usually, when you look forward to meeting someone for the first time, they can't possibly live up to expectations. Carla exceeded mine.

I could not wait to shoot with the amazingly beautiful Carla again. This time it was at Synergy with the wonderful Nikki and they made a fantastic duo. There was a natural chemistry between the two and we produced a great range of ideas in duo and solo ideas using both Carla's outfits and things I had brought. Carla's beauty is beyond compare and she is the ultimate professional with fun thrown in. It is always a highlight of the year to shoot with Carla and she is absolutely one of the best models you could hope for. She has the highest recommendation I could give. A not-to-miss model who is beyond brilliant at what she does. I had my last but one shoot of 2019 with Carla this morning and can't begin to praise her skills enough. A stunningly beautiful woman who is wonderful company and who is always striving to produce fabulous and elegant poses. One of those models that truly understands light, she knows exactly where to position herself to maximum effect and works tirelessly to give you great images. I had a great shoot with Carla yesterday.

As always Carla is a delight to work with i feel very relaxed with her we have some fun and a chat in between shots.

Carla brought with her lovely outfits in particular a beautiful red dress that must of been made just for her it was perfect.

Carla makes it so easy for the photographer to get the right shot this is because she is a top notch model and a great photographer herself.

When I was heading over to the UK for a week, I asked Alley at Pozers Studios if she might be able to book Carla for a shoot. The stars aligned, and three days later we were shooting. Four hours simply flew by. Lots of chatting and laughter. It was one of those shoots when you look at the back of the camera - and each picture is a keeper. Communications were excellent and Carla's wardrobe was really extensive! Carla is incredibly easy to work with, and with such experience in the industry, I'd say it's impossible to get a bad photo. It's unsurprising that she has so many FPIs on PP! Thanks ever so much for your time to shoot.
