This is my sixth shoot working alongside the Awesome Artemis :-) What can i say, she's so cool to work with and we always bounce ideas off each other, to add realism to the shoots.

Well, she actually ended up shooing me at the end of this shoot, but hey, I've still got a few more lives left, for more Halloween shoots :-)

The shoot was really well planned, which gave the photographers some ideas, of what they could shoot on the evening.

I look forward to working with her again :-)

I'd missed out working with Artemis earlier in the year so was looking forward to her Film Noir workshop last Saturday evening. It was superb! Not only was the concept really well thought through, props and clothing all to hand, locations scouted and no doubt weather checked and PlanB organised .... but she'd laid out enough food to feed an army and made us all feel so welcome to her new home in Malmesbury. First class.

What a woman!

I have never met anyone quite as amazing as Miss. Fauna here :) Artemis asked me quite some time ago now if I’d be interested in being her partner in crime for her Luxury All Inclusive Photographic Trip in Fuerteventura and well I literally fell off my chair trying to reply yes before she came to her senses. And what a luxurious trip it was, every minute detail was accounted for, from everyone’s flights, everyone’s dietary requirements, locations to suit all forms of photography. I’ve never shot to such an incredible schedule, the locations Artemis had found were breath taking, and all perfect times of the day for the light were accounted for as well as the tide times for beach shots. :)

We all know that Artemis is a natural beauty, and a complete chameleon by suddenly suiting any location she steps in, and word should be out by now about how much of a wonderful, kind, compassionate, and fun person she is. But it’s got to be said that besides modelling next to this crazy woman, I also got to have a huge insight to the behind the scenes version of Artemis and she is one of the hardest working people I’ve ever seen, she isn’t just a pretty face or a people pleaser she really does want to give as much as she can and more, I watched her tirelessly scout locations, literally climb mountains, jump out of the sea, make coffees, run back and forth to make sure people were happy with their settings, and if that’s not an incredible thing then I don’t know what is.

Already seeing so many beautiful images coming out from all the photographers on the trip, and thanks to Artemis’ huge efforts the week was a great success, there were so many happy smiling faces, however if I were to pick one fault it would have to be that nobody wanted the trip to end!

I have honestly never had so much fun, whether on set or off set the laughter never stopped, the locations got better, and Artemis styled everything to perfection but she still gave the photographers a choice that if they wanted to shoot anything else then nothing was a problem :D

Just wow I’m still on cloud 9 from this trip and I’m sure I’m not the only one, so of course this crazy talented lady is still highly recommended by me and I can not wait to be working with her again for a duo weekend at hers in the new year.

If you have been contemplating joining Artemis on one of her adventures across far distant lands, you will never be disappointed when the boss lady is in charge :)

OK Artemis ticks all the boxes so nothing more to add on her modelling ability, the complete package as confirmed by all the nice things people write about her.

However what may not be so obvious is the amount of background work that goes in to everything Artemis organises in particular the Luxury photographic trips she lays on.

Having just returned from one such trip where everything just flowed and I don't mean the drinks (but they did if you wanted to indulge).

From the prearranged pick up at the airport, to the last shoot everything just fell into place. Each location had been recced on the ground before the event nothing being left to chance.

Prior to arriving on site there must of been hours of planning & research in to possible locations on-line before going out on the ground to confirm suitability.

In addition A luxury villa, 5* transport, dietary requirements catered for, cold water at each location, just the right amount of down time between shoots everything had been planned and catered for, I had a job to find something to complain about until my best camera went for a swim but that is a story for another day.

A well grounded young lady who also happens to be a really good model, always recommended.

I’ve shot with Artemis often enough now to know that she’s a fantastic, beautiful, well organised, reliable, professional model who’s just a lovely person and bloody delight to work! So when I got the opportunity to shoot with her and Scarlett Foxette for four days in Fuerteventura, I jumped at the chance, knowing she’d have sorted it to within an inch of her life!

The shoot was perfectly executed from start to finish.

As is to be expected, photographers flew in from all points of the compass and were collected in their carriage for the next few days – a huge air-conditioned mini-bus with enough space for another two photographers, and all the kit we could carry!

The accommodation and hospitality was wonderful, too. One big villa with half a dozen self-contained rooms / apartments, big shared areas and a pool! Hospitality could not have been better – I did more exercise in four days than I usually do in a month (all very gentle, mind you, no further than 100 yards from bus to location!), and came back 8lbs heavier! IainT is a brilliant chef and tireless manager!

This was a seriously well organised operation, management were up and about from start to end of the day (before dawn, after dusk!), timings for the next day – whilst flexible when they needed to be – were all published and agreed the night before so everyone knew what the plan was. Locations had evidently been scouted on the ground a few days before – no reliance on Google Maps here!

All in all, perhaps the standard by which all photo holiday shoots ought to be judged. Seriously.

I unreservedly recommend Aretemis and Scarlett (and Iain, especially if it involves an umbrella!) to anyone who wants great shoot or photo-holiday!

I have returned home after another super luxury photographic experience organized by Artemis but this time to Fuerteventura..

As previous trips I was met at the airport and taken to the villa - then the 4 days of shooting started with trips out to some magnificent locations all scouted in advance..

The early starts and sunset shoots ensured the lighting conditions were great by the time we arrived and got set up... we were even able to do some themed shoots on the beach with three models...

As usual the trip included all the traveling around the island as well as the food and drink.. The periods spent around the villa and pool were great fun with everyone joining in.

Thanks also to Scarlett and Iain who contributed so much to make this such an enjoyable time..

I have so many great images it will take ages to process them ...

I can recommend these photographic trips abroad - but you will need to be quick as I have already confirmed the one early next year and provisionally booked the later one also..

Wow, Wow, and Wow again

Had the privilege to attend An All Inclusive Photography organised by Artemis with Iain T and ably supported by Scarlett Foxett on the modelling front

What an awesome and organised trip this was, but why be surprised with such a superb team

Iain T as Chauffeur, Head Chef and Bottle Washer serving up amazing meals time after time

Artemis and Iain T with organisers hats on pre scouted outstanding locations, detailed and varied locations and even themed shoots, all programmed to perfection in a calm controlled and relaxed manner

Artemis and Scarlett with model hats on, modelling their hearts out, delivering superb poses in sometimes challenging and difficult locations, never losing their sense of fun and humour

Locations abounded from: abandoned hotel complex, sandy beach, rocky beach, sunset shoots, water carved sandstone gullies, road to nowhere road movie theme, beauty amount the volcanic rocks, sun rise beach shoot, Jack Vettriano shoot, all superbly coordinated and planned by Artemis

Oh have I mentioned the constant supply of superb quality food served up by master chef trainee Iain T, and door to location and back again luxury people carrier supplied by this superb gentleman, together with a great lesson in looking cool with an umbrella and a bowler hat on a sub tropical beach :-)

Oh and the Villa, large comman areas, separate accommodation, pool area

The images so far reviewed from the 2750 taken are all amazing, need to allocate some SERIOUS processing time

A Huge thank you to Sarah and Team for delivering a blistering superb 4 day holiday that never failed to please and left me superbly relaxed and smiling

I would state without any hesitation that if Hieken did Photography Holidays this would be it

This was my third luxury trip organised by Artemis (not to be my last). I have run out of superlatives to apply to the beauty, modelling skills, personality and imagination of this wonderful person. I simply love shooting with Artemis not to mention helping to put away several glasses of red wine during the down times on these trips together with a great bunch of people. I will recommend her trip to any photographer (or model) because 'nobody does it better' - but you'll have to be quick because I've already booked on the next one and waiting for the one after that! The work and preparation she puts into these trips is second to none. Don't stop what you're doing - it's spot on - unbeatable.

Fantasy Dabblers

Yet another fabulous trip organised in style by Artemis, this time to the wild landscape of Fuerteventura. Cooking was again by IainT and the hard work they both put in locating shooting options before the photographer's arrived really showed.

Love the inventive themed shoots that Artemis adds to her trips. They are well thought out and add a lot of fun as well as some great picture opportunities.

We are already booked on another trip for next year as well as a shoot in this country. It is always great to work with Artemis!

I had the good fortune to be able to fit in a 2 hr shoot with the delightful Sarah at a great old house studio.

WE shot in a few different sets in this lovely house and got some great mages.

Sarah is great to work with, effortlessly moves poses and knows what the camera wants to see, whilst also willingly accepting guidance into particular poses.

Had a great shoot and would love to work with her again.

Highly recommended.

The light in there is perfect the wooden floors are magic and Artemis was amazing.

We got through loads of looks with her

Changing at a pace similar to Mr Ben.

And we ended up with some great shots 100% recommended

I finally got to shoot with the beautiful Artemis Fauna after contacting her many months ago. I can also see why Artemis has over a 1000 references with her fantastic personality and friendly manner.

We shot around her stunning flat. I will say that twice. Stunning flat. I cannot reiterate what a great place this is with beautiful furniture and very old natural wooden floors. I had booked 2 hours, them added a 3rd, but shot for around 4.

We took a stroll around the town and came across Abbey Gardens. The gardens are a mixture of formal and informal areas and stunningly presented. We shot in there for awhile, had a coffee and cookie and then it was time to leave. It was superb shooting with such an experienced and easy going person. A day to remember for sure and definitely not the last.

I booked a 5 hours shoot with Artemis, primarily to extend my experience with shooting a more homely and boudoir style in natural light.

From my meeting, Artemis is every bit the delightful professional her extensive set of References record, which I am not going to attempt to repeat. In my case this included writing while away on an extensive shoot in India to check on our shoot plans and posting my Reference almost before I got home after the shoot.

Artemis is a delight to meet and a very real pleasure to work with. We quickly established a relaxed, collaborative way of working freely and easily.

I have no hesitation adding my glowing recommendation to the other 1157 that precede mine, and particularly for photographers in my position simply trying to broaden their experience by working with an hugely experienced model.

I have been wanting to work with the incredible Artemis for a long time and today I actually got to do it and what can I say?? Wow, absolutely fantastic. Artemis is a truly beautiful lady, with classic look and poise and so down to earth, friendly and a good laugh. We shot at Artemis's wonderful home, with such a retro look and lots of amazing furniture it is a stunning backdrop. Artemis is so easy going and full of great ideas. It was great to be able to participate in Artemis' last Secret Garden event of the year with Artemis and Gem. I've shot with Artemis several times now over the last few years but each time I get something new and different and this was no difference. Truly an incredible model and the perfect inspiration for 'togs of all levels. On top of it all this lady has incredible organisational skills (herding photographers must be on a par with cat herding), impeccable communication skills and is just plain fun to work with.

Thank you Artemis and we will definitely be doing this all again in the future...hopefully somewhere warmer! :-)

At the time of writing, Artemis has 1154 glowing references, so as number 1155, I can only wholeheartedly endorse all those positive comments.

Rather than repeat what has gone before, I shall concentrate on a more novel aspect of working with this outstanding model.

Artemis and I travelled to India for ten days this month, living (separate rooms) and working cheek by jowl throughout. Despite the onrush of a different culture, oppressive heat and unusual cultural norms, Artemis was always on the look-out for shoot opportunities or novel props.

She remained unfazed by being placed between two fully grown elephants, lifted on the back of a reluctant camel and three days of curfew and street riots in Jaipur. I will categorically state, that the success of this trip was primarily due to Artemis’s flair and very professional approach to her craft. I haven’t previously worked with a model who adapted so readily and effectively to unaccustomed surroundings and challenges. In summary, if you have an unusual and challenging project, Artemis is the lady you want in front of your lens, to be sure of getting some memorable results.

Did I mention that she is an excellent travelling companion and great to have around?

I attended a studio workshop with John McNairn where Artemis Fauna was our model. She was great, doing her thing and free-styling. I learned a lot from John, but I also learned a lot from Atremis. She was very knowledgeable about lighting and perspective and, as I asked for it, she gave me a few pointers.
