Luxury- All Inclusive- Photographic Trip to Portugal

Well, It was certainly luxurious. It's been nearly a week since I returned and I wanted to wait until I'd come down to earth before I added a reference to ensure that It was objective. I've failed in the former at least. It could be weeks before I'm out of the bubble. It was a trip filled with magical moments that you never wanted to end.

Artemis and IainT, with the lovely Carla Monaco sharing the modelling role, have set the Gold Standard for photographic trips abroad. Events such as this don't arrange themselves, and the standard reflected the weeks of planning that must have gone into it.

All I would suggest is that if you see another of these trips posted by Artemis, get in quickly, the places wont be available for long.

Thanks Iain and Carla for a fantastic few days but most of all Artemis, you are a star.

Can't wait for the next one.

Amazing three day shoot with the gorgeous Artemis Fauna and Carla Monaco in the Algarve last week :-)

Artemis and Ian T organised the event and Artemis and Carla modelled separately and as a duo during the delightful days that we spent with them.

Artemis is a fabulous model: beautiful, athletic and intuitive and it would be hard not to have come away with great images!

We shot on the beach, in town at night to create some Helmut Newton inspired images, in orange groves and in derelict places as well as in and around the sumptuous villa that was our home for our all too brief stay.

I can't recommend Artemis highly enough!!

Carla Monaco

I have not long got back from modelling alongside Sarah on her amazing luxury photographic holiday. She kindly invited me a year ago to be apart of this amazing trip, I knew it would be good but it was even better and much more than I could of imagined!!

The organisation/work that Sarah and IainT put into this trip was second to none, the villa that was booked for everyone was amazing, a perfect choice for accommodating all the photographer's but also great for shooting and relaxing around the pool etc.

Sarah made sure that there was plenty of shooting time for all the photographer's but also made sure everyone got to rest and have fun too, the balance was perfect.

Sarah organised the best locations from derelict restaurants and villas to themed street shoots and of course the beautiful orange groves.

As a photographer you could not wish for a better photographic holiday,as soon as you arrived you where practically waited on hand and foot.

As a model it was just fabulous, loved every minute :)

Sarah is a great friend of mine now and I am always inspired by her drive/work ethic and lust for life. An amazing model/friend, thank you for all the memories.

Fantastic three day shoot with Artemis and Carla Monaco in the Algarve recently.

Artemis and Ian T organised the event with everything taken care of for a luxurious trip. Carla and Artemis modelled separately and as a duo during with stunning effect.

Artemis is great fun to work with, a very experienced and professional model, with style and poise.

We shot on the beach, Helmut Newton style in town at night, David Hamilton inspired in orange groves and in a few derelict places as well as in and around the sumptuous villa that was our base for the all too brief stay.

Great model, great images produced, great orgainsation and wonderful host, I can't recommend Artemis highly enough!!

Fantasy Dabblers

Artemis organised and modelled on a 3 day luxury photography holiday in Portugal at the start of June. The organisation was smooth and relaxing including sympathetic and helpful treatment of A’s disabilities. One excellent aspect was Artemis organising a couple of themed shoots in particular photographers’ styles. It was very interesting and informative! As a model, Artemis gave us a huge number of beautiful shots in a variety of locations and styles, working nude and with well chosen outfits and working alone or with another model. We have already booked another photography holiday with Artemis.

I have worked with Artemis more times than I can remember but this last week with Artemis and Carla Monaco in Portugal was fantastic...

Artemis organised the trip to Silves and it didn't take me long to put my name down...

We covered a range of themes and I have taken many pictures, some not my normal style but using techniques I've not done before...

Many stunning images to edit now as well as some interesting video...

Looking forward to the next trip in October already...

I went on Artemis Fauna's Luxury trip to Portugal last year and I said, at the time, it was the best three days ever. Well, I have to eat my words because this time it was even more fantastic. Relaxed, yet full of different photo-opportunities; organised, yet laid-back. IainT catered for us again and drove us to some fabulous locations that they'd scouted out previously. Artemis and Carla Monaco work so well together and on their own. I've run out of superlatives so to sum up, this trip was even better than the best time ever! I can't thank you enough :)

I have recently returned from a second photoshoot in the Argarve, Portugal, organised by Artemis Fauna, with Carla Monaco as the superb second model. Both models and photographers were ably supported by Iain T, with humour and consideration. The trip was very well organised by Artemis and she and her team went out of their way to make the photoshoot productive, original, and enjoyable. Nothing was too much to make the trip memorable and value for money. I have worked with Artemis on a number of occasions previously and I went on her first Portugal trip last year. Artemis was her usual professional, flexible and beautiful model, who went out of her way to ensure the photographers captured the images they wanted. I knew that this trip had two of the best models on the circuit for us to work with and that both models would do their level best to ensure we came home with a variety of high quality images. They were successful in this. I look forward to joining Artemis and her team on another trip in the future.

This was my 3rd or 4th time with Artemis but it's the first time I feel I've done her justice which is just as well considering we were in Portugal along with Carla Monaco and Iain T - chef, driver, host who never let your glass empty and a font of considerable knowledge both photographic and life. A fully first class experience. I learnt so much from just watching these three and the three photographers work that was worth the money alone.

Artemis's passion from morning to early morning to ensure we enjoyed the trip was evident, then in front of a lens she was on fire. I owe her big time for some very intense sets.

This was not a shoot in the normal sense - it was a 3 day photo-safari in the lovely Algarve. Staying at a superb villa near Silves all aspects were extremely well organised and carried out. From arrangements for picking up at the airport to final departure at the end.

Each days activities were very well thought out and planned with a number of styles and locations to work on. From a relaxing first day at the villa to secluded beaches; derelict villas and restaurant; day/night shoots in Silves; fields and orange groves.

It was a memorable trip, with excellent food & drink and the company of fellow photographers.

Many thanks to too the indispensable IainT who was chef, driver and location scout.

Carla Monaco was our other lovely and delightful model, who along with Artemis, braved Atlantic waves, grotty abandoned buildings, creepy crawlies etc to create some wonderful scenarios for us the photographers to snap way to our hearts content.

A truly wonderful trip, thank you all.

I am sure everyone knows how great it is to shoot with Artemis Fauna. Our shoot on Monday was no exception. The location was lovely, and Artemis was her usual professional self whilst shooting, and her delightful quirky self in between sets. It is so easy to work with Artemis, as she is friendly and funny and our session was downright fun. The images back of camera look great, and I cannot wait to get some out and onto purple port!

I had my first shoot with Artemis today and was a pure joy from start to finish.

We worked through lots of different styles bouncing ideas off each other throughout to create some fantastic images. It's obvious why Artemis has so many positive references a total professional and pleasure to work with.

I honestly recommend Artemis to anyone and look forward to working with her again.

Reference 1081 - It's not an easy thing to write about such a well known model who has so many previous references (where she is recommended in every one). What can I add that hasn't been said before? I was lucky enough to work with Artemis twice in four days (I had met her the year before when I assisted another photographer during a shoot, so I knew she was a class act). My first shoot was at Studio Hire Plymouth where I shot some fashion/beauty themed images. Artemis had brought a eclectic range of clothing and accessories and her hair and makeup was perfect. Artemis needs no direction and her posing is brilliant, which allowed me to concentrate on setting up the lighting and taking care of any technicalities. We managed to complete four individual sets in a relatively short period of time and I am delighted with the results. A few days later Artemis phoned me regarding a concept of shooting some editorial styled androgynous images in Paignton with Amie Boulton. This was something new for me and of course I agreed, and so the stage was set. The shoot was very productive and a whole lot of fun and I am really pleased with the images that we produced, a real team effort.

Apart from being a very versatile, beautiful and accomplished professional model, Artemis is also lovely company, chilled out, funny, and very relaxing to work with. If you haven't worked with her before, I highly recommend that you consider a booking. Thanks Artemis, I'm looking forward to working with you again in the future :)

Artemis and I co-modelled for PG Pix at Natural Light Spaces, doing some andro fashion and aerial hoop sets together. Since she has been a big inspiration to me since I started modelling I was a little star-struck it must be said, even though I've met her a few times at the studio before - but she really is totally lovely, a joy to work with and not at all scary! And she is an amazing model of course, on the duo aerial hoop set she grasped the poses instantly and has great strength and grace. Recommended wholeheartedly by me and hopefully we will get to work together again soon :)

Back in 2009 I met a beautiful, creative young woman who was just starting out on her modelling journey. Right from the start I could she she was a special talent. Her affinity with art and her intuitive understanding of shapes and shadows, lines and light marked her out as exceptional.

Fast forward 8 years and umpteen shoots later and that talent has blossomed a hundred fold. I love the fact that she still has an infectious enthusiasm for modelling and a thirst to grab every creative opportunity that comes along. As the saying goes, the truth will out. A diamond will always sparkle.

That ability remains apparent whether she is behind or in front of the camera or any other medium for that matter. I know that whenever we get together I will end up doing something new, something different, something incredible. For Artemis has that rarest of gifts, originality. Long may her star shine bright into the deepest, darkest night.

This was my second shoot with Artemis. I wanted to try my hand at some fantasy type pictures, and although my ideas were a little weird, Artemis did her very best to make sure my concepts worked. Artemis gave a lot of input into the shoot and went with my themes, bringing them to life. You have to give everything a go at least once, and Artemis was really great with letting me experiment outside of the box. I have had a quick look at the pictures and think I have some really quirky ones, which is great! Artemis is a fantastic model, so easy to work with and I very highly recommend her. If you have not worked with her yet - book her now!

I have worked with this lady on numerous occasions but this was the first location shoot

Photography is about converting the image concept or aspiration into a picture.

Artemis is the best I know at doing this, the model can be the subject of a shoot, but Artemis is more than this, helping conceptually, technically and working with the photographer to create the desired image, add a great sense of humour and you have the ability to creat great images and have great fun.

I always walk away from an Artemis shoot, with a memory card full of great pictures and a smile on my face having enjoyed the shoot

This was my 3rd time working with Artemis and was a very last minute arrangement at Joel Hicks Photographic. It's always a privilege and pleasure working with this very professional young lady who need very little direction and is always willing to throw here ideas into the pot meaning you will always get images to your liking. in the 2hrs I had we were able to achieve 4 very productive sets and some amazing images.

Hopefully won't be so long next time before I get work with her again.
