I was had the pleasure of working with the wonderful Sean at Art Asylum.

This was the first time shooting with Sean and I found he was full of great ideas, along with his good sense of humour it meant the momentum and creativity flowed through our shoot to which we created some very cool images! He is an absolute joy to work with.

Before meeting the communication was fantastic, he was incredibly helpful and he was open to my crazy ideas. Upon meeting I found him professional, patient and great with direction which put me at ease and the time flew by!

I cannot recommend him enough and I certainly cannot wait to work with him again :)

This is the second time I've visited Art Asylum but this was my first group shoot. I had such a fantastic time! The amount of time and effort the guys put in to getting the studio prepared for this studio day was amazing! Well done to everyone involved! I can't wait to come back again soon!! Highly recommend using this studio if you're in the area!

There are so many cool areas to shoot in it's difficult to know where to go first.

The folks that run the Asylum are really welcoming and helpful without being overbearing.

I am definitely planning to shoot there again and can Highly Recommend :)

I can't begin to explain how lucky I am to have the Art Asylum as 'my local'. It's a studio I would travel to without hesitation but am blessed not to have to! Sean, Felix and the inmates are a joy to be around. Always pleased to see me. The call of "I'll leave your coffee outside" comes without any prompt. The changing area is large enough for even my heavy packing with a full length mirror and massive array of clothing props had I not brought my own. The spaces are beyond impressive and the new 'Steam punk' area is a masterpiece. The derelict areas provide amazing scope for any theme or costume and the naturally lit areas are divine. If you're under any doubt about using the asylum don't be...you'd be crazy to miss it!

Another awesome visit to AA :) I love this place. The studio is great and the equipment there is all just as you need. The new ringlight is awesome , even made me think I might be able to do portraits. The urbex feel to the rest of the studio is also unique and has so many possibilities. Wonderful place

Been on my 'very short' places I have to shoot list, and noticing they had studio days meant it would be a good introduction to the space available, so I booked a couple of hours during one. Will be back before long...

So much potential with the variety available, and such a welcoming, helpful team. Certainly will be researching more about availability for booking, really enjoyed the whole experience.

Whether you can sort yourself out, or don't have a clue, they will leave you to it, or set anything up you need and then guide you as best they can. Very, very good and supportive guys - decent cuppa too!

Highly recommended here, book in when you can and you won't regret it ;)

On the 8th of May I hosted my first studio day from the Art Asylum. This place is one of the most versatile studios I've ever come across and here's the reasons why:

~ The owners are super helpful with everything you need(including lighting) and also very friendly and nice to chat to.

~The studio has 3 or 4 different sets, an infinity curve and other backrounds.

~It's fully equipped and all the lights are working perfect.

~The derelict side of the studio its 2 floors and it has plenty of natural light.

~The changing room is large.

~It's super unique

Third shoot here in as many months. I think that says it all. Sean and Felix are great studio managers. I wanted for nothing and had help moving all my gear up the to selected part of the studio. Coffee appears as if by magic as soon as you walk into the gallery. There when you want them and they vanish when you get down to business. It is a totally awesome studio. I love shooting there. Highest recommendation.

I had my first shoot at Art Asylum last week with Tori-Mai.

Sean greeted me with a coffee and a tour of all the derelict parts we could use during the shoot. This location is truly stunning and I'm so glad we decided to work here for the day. The derelict rooms are huge and full of character. The day flew by as there was scope to try so many ideas during the shoot.

Sean is very friendly and helpful and made the whole experience, from booking to shooting, effortless. I cannot recommend Art Asylum enough and I think this is a great studio space that has so much to offer.

I had my first shoot at Art Asylum at a studio day with Victoria Summers. Sean gave me a quick guided tour of the studio. This place has it all. It is a really good shooting space and Sean was on hand if required. Was made to feel very welcome by the team at Art Asylum. I will definitely be back to shoot here again. Had the pleasure of my first shoot at Art Asylum today with Victoria Summers. This is one seriously good venue, the different ares to shoot in are staggering. Everything from an infinity cove to disused old brewery complete with huge wooden vats.

The welcome from Sean, Felix and Jane was awesome too, made to feel very welcome. Can't wait for my next shoot there in May. See you soon guys :)

I was booked by Mark Connell to work at the Art Asylum yesterday and was so excited to go! Ive heard some awesome things about the place, I was so shocked when I learned they had only opened this year as Ive heard so much about them!

The studio itself has SO much space, loads of rooms, props and most importantly friendly, smiley faces :D Everyone was so lovely and I even got my face painted.. oh yeah!

You really need to go and view this place if you havent been, its just awesome! I even walked away with a gorgeous print I saw on the wall, I was a happy little bee :) Were going to be in conversation soon about me coming and doing a studio day too!

had another brilliant shoot down at this gorgeous location - its just breath-taking never fails- always something new to try or new to shoot. it's brilliant the people there who run it are just absolutely lovely, they're all welcoming and polite they have lights different set up, clothing and even hot drinks :)

couldn't recommend this studio enough to be honest the amount of times ive worked here I can even count on one hand :) just love it so definitely book with them :) you won't be disappointed :) my favourite bt far! *****

Had the pleasure or working at this amazing studio on Saturday with Ariannax . This studio is never ending with so many amazing places to shoot in. If your looking for a studio with space and lots of opportunities for different styles then this is the place to shoot. well worth the 90 min drive. Will be coming back soon.

I would like to say a big thank you to Sean. I had the chance to work with kbimaging at this amazing studio , well I would say studio's . This place is massive with loads of area's and opportunities for creating lovely photos. From the white wall to the vat room loads of natural light. We never got the chance to use all the area's but I hope to get to shoot there again soon. Highly recommended

A truly exceptional studio with so many different opportunities in so many nooks and crannies as well as the white room, atrium, stairway and old brewery vats. The whole place is quite stunning and deserves many bookings. Highly recommended!

I received a very warm welcome at the studio. It's a very different and original studio with some very different as well as classic shooting areas. I can't comment on lighting as I used my own but don't see why that would also not match the other excellent facilities.

Just a note of warning about the parking. There are two very convenient car parks to use. But both are camera controlled and you must but a ticket immediately and don't overstay you time. The camera clocks you in and out and if the time does not match the ticket purchased (you enter vehicle reg when getting ticket) you get a nice present in the post of a £60 fine. So just make sure you buy enough time😀

Don't let that put you off an excellent studio.

The Art Asylum is an exceptional place. So many areas to take great images. Everyone I met at there was so easy to work with and very professional. I attended the first model shoot day in February as a photographer. I made lots of lasting connections and have booked several more shoots. Very highly recommended.

Great place to shoot , very unique and well equipped with so many different sets and options from natural light in the old brewery to controlled studio sets and backdrops. Was booked in initially for just two hours , but stayed on and paid for an extra two and didnt have time even then to explore all we wanted. Great warm welcome and brilliant comms beforehand - Highly recommend to everyone!!
