Art asylum is definitely my favourite studio easily.

There's lots of open spaces with natural light as well as studio lights and set ups.

There are so many different rooms and lots of options.

And of course finishing off a shoot with doggy cuddles is the best!

Art Asylum is hands down one of my absolute favourite shooting locations! To call it a studio is an understatement, this is really a haven of amazing and unique sets that ooze inspiration and make any shot something amazing. The owner Sean is also lovely - literally, you must work in this place while you still have a chance! A second studio day and also a potential 1-1 with sean is now booked :D :D

Thanks for a great evening were all I had to do was turn up as every thing including two outstanding models were in place. As this was my first visit I was so impressed with so many shooting areas well thought out.

I'm looking forward to future visits as you could change your images so many times without using the same area. Very strongly recommend if you want good space.

Had my first shoot at Art Asylum the other day. Finally!! Not that I'm the first to say this, but this place is incredible! There is such a variety of locations to shoot in, and the place is so huge, I would've gotten lost had it not been for Sean showing me round! He was an excellent host, and I can't WAIT to come back.

Of COURSE, highly, highly recommended :) x

Art Asylum is certainly an impressive studio, to say the least!

It's absolutely huge with a whole myriad of set ups. The ultimate creative playground for models and photographers alike. I think I could easily work there for a month straight and not run out of ideas!

Sean is also a wonderful, helpful host and his teaching style is perfect - clear and straight to the point. As someone who has been involved in this industry for many years, Sean's teaching style is one of the best I've witnessed. He doesn't over complicate things which I see many other photography tutors do.

Art Asylum is definitely one of the best studios I've had the privilege to work in and I would happily work there again in an instant.

My highest possible recommendations!

My second shoot at the art asylum and this time it was an organised group shoot so I got to shoot in more of the different sets.

What a really great place this is. There seem to be almost unlimited places to shoot all giving a totally unique image.

On top of that, Sean really knows how to make a cup of tea!

Many thanks, I'll be back again in the new year!

My first visit to the studio - Wow so much space, thanks to Sean for showing me around, think its still possible to get lost though...

Only had a two hour slot with Rachelle Summers on her studio day last Saturday, we produced some stunning images but only managed to use a very small fraction of the vast space over so many floors...

I was very impressed with the amount of natural light around, especially on the top floor.

So much opportunity with lots of creative little sets..

Hope I have the opportunity to shoot there again next year...

My third shoot at my favourite studio. When I learned that Pippa Doll would be in the area I knew exactly where I wanted to shoot with her. This is no ordinary studio as the images above will testify. So pleased with the results and as usual Sean was a great host. If you haven't shot here yet, you need to get that post code in your sat nav soon.

Obviously highly recommended.

Just returned from a studio day at Art asylum in Weymouth.

Sean was very helpful in how to approach booking with the studio, directions and I felt very looked-after once I was there. Clearly its run from a love of photography, the place has a wide variety of sets to work in for natural or studio light and you'll be very warmly welcomed. Would come again.

What an awesome studio and location!

I've heard so many good things about Art Asylum and now myself can see why all these things have been said. Sean is a fab host, always making sure I was comfortable and I even got to shoot with this talented guy for a very quick shoot.

The location it's self has so much variety and some amazing natural light space aswell as a studio and some cool features. Very well equipped with all you need for a shoot and more.

I very highly recommend hiring this space!

I had a fantastic shoot the other day at the Art Asylum.

The place is awesome, large and expansive (got lost a couple of times :-)) and so many different possibilities you could shoot there many times and do something different each occasion.

Sean was a very welcoming and helpful host giving a guided tour to kick the day off with and then leaving us to it but always being on hand to answer any questions needed as well as supplying cups of tea which is always very appreciated!

I was there with a photographer friend of mine and we had a very productive day with two fabulous models and got lots of great images on a variety of the sets. I'll definitely be going back and would highly recommend the Art Asylum to everyone.

Cheers Sean :-)

Wow! A studio shoot like no other, yesterday. Art Asylum is an Aladdin's cave of photo locations, and I had the great pleasure of exploring it with georgian historian, Victoria Summers and Louisa Marie. I'm not sure I've been in a studio before where it's actually possible to get lost, but thanks to our delightful host Sean (and his numerous cups of tea) we not only survived the day but we all want to go back!

Highly recommended!

An Eye for Beauty

My first adventure at Art Asylum was a memorable one. I shared the time with Somersetman and 2 models, Victoria Summers and Louisa Marie. It is a rabbit warren of a venue with all sorts of different locations. For me the amount of areas with natural light was amazing. We were made very welcome and the whole time was relaxed. Worth a couple of hours drive, and I will certainly be back next year. Thanks, Sean!

Yes, as Louisa says - plenty of tea and coffee, and a variety of eating establishments just outside for the 'apres-shoot'. Parking very easy and near!

My second visit to this "studio" and I discovered new areas to shoot. Not your traditional studio (although it has a great infinity wall with various lighting) because of the huge expanse of other rooms, staircases, stairwells and brewery, Many areas with gorgeous natural light.

Sean is a really friendly and helpful host, nothing is too much trouble.

Looking forward to my third visit in the near future.
