I had a great shoot at Art Asylum studios with Sean and Jane. The studio has lots of areas to shoot in...however the time passed so quickly we used only two during the shoot. A large range of props and outfits available if desired...

I shot with Sean and also Jane later in the day, both lovely people with their own ideas and made me feel comfortable throughout, in which some awesome images were created.

I would definitely recommend the studio to all models as it is the best studio I have shot at so far and as a model it is somewhere where I felt relaxed. I shall definitely be using the studio again in the future!

I had a great time at this studio, both standard infinity white wall (regularly painted) and set scenes including loads of props laying around for you. Great place, Sean is a great host, very much recommended.

Had a really great shoot at the Art Asylum studio on Saturday. The combination of a wonderful model and a great studio with some superb natural light areas, meant that I have come away with an excellent selection of images and I will have a difficult choice as to which ones are the best.

Had my first shoot at the Asylum and although I have vistited many many times this as I said was the first shoot, the photo side is run by Sean and I am sure Felix won't mind be called a prop building specialist !

Think the only word that fits is exceptional..the venue has something for everyone, facilities are like an epic adventure in a great way, tea/coffee/help if needed are always available, great people to meet and a great place to just visit as it is and exceptionaly well sited facility, just back from the harbour in the quay.....Do yourself a favour make this top of the list for your next shoot....Perfection

This was my first, but way too brief visit to the Art Asylum. Definitely my type of studio, offering so much scope to the photographer and model. I love the way you can shoot on a derelict looking location without having to watch over your shoulder.

Hoping that I can visit again soon but maybe for a whole day to use the studio to its full potential!!!! :D

This is a fantastic studio with so much variety on offer. A mix of a warehouse/brewery with oodles of natural light and a traditional studio with several pre-built sets. Great value and Sean is an extremely helpful host.

This won't be my last visit and I urge you to check it out.

Had a one hour shoot with Freya, this place is awesome and definitely want to go back there. So many possibilities in several rooms with natural and studio lighting. The rate I paid included the studio fee but the owner told me it's only £15 per hour to hire which seems like a great bargain. If you haven't been there yet I can thoroughly recommend it. Parking in the area is quite expensive but only a two minute walk away from the studio door. Overall I really enjoyed my first experience at Art Asylum, if it was a bit closer to Poole I'd be there every week.

Had amazing shoot with Sinopa Rin here.

The space and options available are some of the best around.

Really great hospitality and run by genuinely nice guys.

I just got back from my first shoot at Art Asylum.

What can I say other than this is an incredible place to shoot. There are a host of different areas, tons of lighting, natural light in some areas that is stunning.

Sean was friendly and gave me a tour before the shoot and there are drinks etc on tap.

You can really vary the shoot style throughout the enormous building, a seriously wonderful location. There are hundreds of props everywhere if you need them.

I can't recommend Art Asylum highly enough. 10/10 in every respect. I can't wait to return.

Organised my 5th group shoot at Art Asylum and as ever Sean, Jane and Sarah couldn't be more helpful (felix was away for the day. The sets were all set up ready to go for start time, all guests were greeted with a hot drink and were given a tour of the areas they would be working in and a health and safety briefing. Everyone who comes is in awe of the place and comes back for more. You have to visit if you haven't done already

Wow! First time visiting and shooting here - what a place. Warm welcome from Sean and the team on arrival and a good review of the differing areas ahead of the shoots.

The layout is great, the equipment and scenes are excellent. I will definitely be back for more as there is so much that I missed first time round that needs to be covered. Natural lighting areas are great and give each shot a unique atmosphere.

I have already recommended this place to friends and would highly recommend to all.

I have shot twice at the Art Asylum studio now and each time has been great! They are very friendly & helpful, they have lots of props & costumes free to use, they will help with lighting if you need it or leave you alone if that's what you want. Very versatile shooting areas. Strongly recommended!

Today was my first time modelling at The Art Asylum but it definitely won't be my last! I had a fantastic studio day there today and can't thank Sean enough for being a great host, tea-maker, lighting assistant and leaf-blower-wielder! All the photographers were really happy with the venue and there was more than enough to keep me occupied for a whole day - the place is HUGE! I'm really looking forward to my next trip to the asylum and would thoroughly recommend it to others.

Booked a two-hour slot at the Art Asylum yesterday and had a really excellent time. Sean helped with excellent lighting, coffee and leaf blowing and a result I could concentrate on getting the most out of this amazing venue. In two hours I could barely scratch the surface as there are so many different sets including a lovely natural light atrium, very high ceiling infinity cove, grungy stair cases, steampunk piano, brewery vats and an abandoned bar. In fact almost every wall has some sort of photographic potential. Highly recommended!

I have lost count as to how many times I have worked at Art Asylum photo studios and its a place I would recommend to anyone and everyone. Nothing is too much trouble for the inmates working there whether it's tea duties or lighting assistance, help finding props or just a good natter. The studio is huge, you have to see it to believe it and it deserves to be a massive success. Get booking!!!

I met up with Anna Rose at this amazing studio last Saturday for a two hour shoot. It is over a two hour drive for me but it makes a great day out being situated within yards of North Quay with all that Weymouth has to offer. The Cove is spacious and allowed Anna lots of space to perform her leaps and the urbex areas within the same building, especially an enormous glass atrium complete with plants growing out of the wall are exciting places to work. It has an alternative ambiance about it and I loved it. Thank you Sean.

Had another successful studio day at the Art Asylum and I am hoping to return in the Autumn. This pretty much sums up how I feel about this fabulous location/studio.

Once again Sean hosted the day and was always on hand to help, made sure I was comfortable and had plenty to eat/drink.

The day ran smoothly and all that attended gave good feedback and is delighted with their results.

Thank you once again!

Anna
