Well what can I say...Alley from PoZers says it all in her reference. Rob has it all - a lovely guy to work with, models and photographers warm to him instantly, very talented, hard working, very humble, a total gentleman behind that gangster exterior, and 100% reliable and enthusiastic.

I love how versatile Rob is and how he has progressed into art nude modelling with ease, from his images you'd think he's been modelling nude it for years. He is always up for trying out new poses and has the strength and determination to hold complex holds and lifts. He is also very flexible for a guy and has a real feeling and connection for nude photography so is able to express himself in a sensitive way appropriate to the style of posing, whether its intimate/sensual, bodyshapes or dance style.

Of course he's awesome at clothed vintage modelling too and his portfolio speaks for itself. He has a film star quality to his look and his modelling abilities go way beyond most male models. He is very expressing and his looks convey a narrative to the image that you usually only see in film stills of Hollywood actors.

Whenever I work with Rob we always get a great reaction and re-booked so we must be doing something right! It is a pleasure to work with him and we have so much fun on the shoots and enjoy coming up with new ideas and looks for our shoots. Rob does all the styling for our vintage shots and definitely has a missed vocation there as his eye for style is spot on.

In short, book Rob as you will have an amazing shoot experience and come away with high quality, original images! Thanks Rob, looking forward to our next studio day in September :)

Today I shot with Rob and Sophie Merlo and what a day it was! We had such fun playing out a summer romance, first in a field with hay bales and then with a traditional gypsy caravan complete with horse and dog.

Rob is a delight to work with, whether I’m working with him on a clothes or nude shoot I feel 100% comfortable and confident that we will get good shots together. He is such a gentlemen and very professional but also fun and very creative. He is a great actor conveying emotion and expression with ease. He has a real presence that comes across in his images.

We had fun today and made a good team, Rob was great on styling as usual and made everyone feel relaxed and happy. I can’t wait to see the shots we got together and am looking forward to working with Rob again...next Friday in fact at our studio day at PoZers :)

It was my third time shooting with Rob, and it felt like I was meeting an old friend. This guy is such a nice guy, not to mention great model, you can't help but love him to pieces. He makes everyone he works with feel comfortable and is always a gentleman to the tog and any other model. He also looks amazing on camera.

I was lucky enough to leave Rob's first reference here on pp. Since then he's come on leaps and bounds. This third shoot was a bit different in style to other stuff he has done, but you wouldn't have known, Rob was unphased by it and as great as ever. I'm delighted with the shots and obviously can't wait til I shoot him again.

We booked Robbie for a studio day on Saturday and wow, what can I say?!?

Pre communications had been great, not just with myself but with photographers who had booked onto the event. He travelled over by coach and managed to bring every single item that was needed for the shoot including an array of hats, props and many outfits and cool shoes.

Robbie remained professional throughout the whole day, and gave his input on shoots to the photographers who are less experienced to which they were very greatful for.

I recommend Retro Rob 100% and garuntee you will have an awesome shoot!!

myself and Retro have spoken loads over the past year or so, building a friendship.

As I haven't shot a male nude model.

Then a opportunity came up to work with Retro at a local studio by me.

Once I finally met Retro, he made me feel very comfortable from the very first minute.

when we started shooting we was just chatting having a laugh and getting great shots.

Retro is highly recommended by me.

Today I had the pleasure of shooting with Rob and Carl Grim. I’ve worked with Rob many times before on vintage clothed and art nude shoots, and we were both very excited to be shooting with Carl Grim at his studio.

Rob is brilliant at pre-shoot comms and sharing ideas so we hit the ground running. He is a great partner for duo work - professional, fun, hard working and respectful.

His art nude posing is exceptionally good and he has a fantastic physique. He is always willing to try out new ideas and did some really tricky lifts with me whilst standing on tiptoes!

Rob’s vintage styling and look is totally awesome and it’s always a pleasure to work along side him - I’m looking forward to our next shoot together at PoZers Studio in July.

RetroRob arrived at my studio yesterday with the lovely Melany on his arm, looking like he had just stepped out of a Mafia movie. Dressed in the Chicago styled three piece suit, gangster hat and spats, he immediately climbed into my 1937 Jaguar SS100 and looked the part !

We shot a set of sequences inspired by "Pretty Woman" with a gangster edge to it - Melany's skimpily clad long legs framing the images. The post lady arrive in the middle of all this and almost got herself into the picture as well !

We then moved into the studio. If Robbie looked good in his Mafia garb, you want to see him without it ! Slim, extremely muscular - not the bulky kind but the low body fat, high muscle definition look that good lighting feeds off - WOW !

He and Melany have worked together many times before and it really shows. Hire Rob, hire the duo - you won't regret it.

Since I started my account here at PP I always wanted to work with Retro Rob. I always wanted to do more vintage themed shootings so I hired a retro pub in London and knew that this was the right job for Retro Rob. Together with Anna Charlotte Sawyer and Lydia Helen we had a 4hour shooting and it was fantastic. Rob and and I had an excellent pre-communication before the shoot and he arrived with a huge wardrobe and all the props we talked about. With ease he took over the role of a clarinetist, barkeeper, ladiesman, a dancer/showman and magician. He offers a variety of poses and facial expressions, has nice ideas and quickly learned some of the dance poses teached by Lydia. Rob is a super nice, humorous person I would love to work with again anytime soon. He was also my first male model and I am glad I chose him. Highly recommended.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Robbie, the consummate gentleman, at one of our workshops at the studio. Talented, patient with our workshop attendees, professional throughout and with a great sense of humour, I cannot recommend Robbie highly enough. He bought a variety of props, great pre shoot communications and was just a pleasure to work with. It would be our pleasure to work with Robbie again and would highly recommend him. Had the pleasure of shooting with Robbie for the second time today and what a joy as usual!

This time shooting, we wanted to do more art nude work but we went out on location around Basingstoke. I asked a lot of Robbie, but not once did he complain, even when I asked him to crawl into a hide away full of brambles and contort himself!

Our shoot was very much a walk around, strip, take photos and move on, and Robbie adjusted very well to a very different shooting style.

We had to travel to our second location via my motorbike (which he loved!), and even lugging around lots of gear and bags, he was happy as larry venturing into the dense woodland.

Such a legend this guy, will always recommend to anyone. Robbie constantly wants to learn and that's part of why I love him.

Fantastic shoot with Robbie this weekend at Aura Studios in Walsall, this was my 2nd time working with Robbie and what a fantastic shoot we had. Robbie worked hard all day with at least 6 outfit changes and more set changes.

Robbie is fantastic to work with such a genuine nice guy, easy going and can work with little to no direction but equally really receptive to direction and ideas.

Brilliant shoot with Rob and Melany at the Far Forest studio yesterday. My 2 hours went by very quickly but we managed a wide variety of set ups. Started with fully clothed 1930's look - a bit of Speakeasy/gambling/New Orleans jazz style. Rob came prepared with wide range of good quality clothes and hats. Managed plenty of solo pictures of Rob and Melany then both together. Second hour was mainly outside making use of first warm day of spring for some art nude poses in the (mainly) secluded wooded areas of the Far Forest property.

Highly recommend Rob and Melany.

You have to shoot or get this wild cat in,his bloody fantastic. He comes suited,booted and ready to go there. He then brings a crazy wardrobe and props and get this he does art nude as well . Retro Robs body puts most younger boys to shame,abs,bicep,traps the man's packing ;) Highly recommend, amazing to get on with an all round beautiful person.

Far Forest Studio

We were pleased to welcome Rob to our studio yesterday for his first visit on his duo day with Mel.

From start to finish it was superb. Seeking to satisfy the photographers visions in everything they suggested, going the extra mile with poses that many would not be able to achieve either.

He comes with an outstanding array or props and wardrobe and is equally competent and comfortable as a nude or implied model.

A complete professional in everyway and a credit to the modeling world.

A perfect guest who we would hope will return time and again.
