I had another successful duo day with Rob at Top Floor Studio in Newent. As always Rob arrived with lots of energy, enthusiasm and ideas. It’s been such a pleasure to watch Rob’s art nude modelling go from strength to strength and whether your hiring him for a vintage or nude shoot, he is professional, accommodating, creative and puts a 100% effort into every shot.

As you can see from Rob’s other references, people love working with him because he is so genuine and respectful and easy to get along with. So not only do you get great shots but have fun doing so.

I highly recommend Rob and can’t wait for our Bristol studio day on 12th Jan :)

Synergy Photo Studio

It was a great pleasure to host a studio day yesterday for Retro Rob and his duo partner M e l a n y.

Despite the absolutely foul weather and making a special trip all the way from London, Rob arrived with Mel on time, full of energy and enthusiasm and raring to go.

I'd describe Rob as an 'old fashioned gentleman', quietly spoken, polite, professional and easy going. Appearance wise - smart, stylish, great physique and if the age stated on his profile is correct he must have discovered the fountain of youth!

Rob has a great rapport with Mel and also worked extremely well with the photographer. Going by the comments of 'wow' and 'amazing' coming from the shooting area, it was an epic shoot!

Welcome back at the studio any time and very highly recommended either as a solo model or as a duo with Mel - Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year, guys!

I was lucky enough to get the chance to shoot with Rob on Saturday for a 1920-40s themed shoot and he is fantastic! Rob is such a gentleman who is both brilliant to work with in front and behind of the camera. His warm welcome immediately made me feel comfortable and relaxed, and together we created some awesome images!

WOW what a fantastic shoot, this guy just gets better and better and pulls off so many different looks. 1940's and 1970's this time around. This is my fourth time working with Robbie and he is a true gent thats works tirelessly to create fab images. Highly recommended and already look forward to working with him again.

I recently shot with Rob at a collaboration with ADWs Photos and a burlesque performer friend of mine Miss Sugar Rush. I’d always loved Rob’s look and wanted to get him and Sugar together for a showgirl type shoot and when Alan (ADWS) said he’d be up for it we quite quickly got it all booked in! Rob was perfect - worked really well with Sugar and of course his styling is amazing! The unedited shots are so good that it’s hard to choose my favourites and I can’t wait to share them. Ok guys here goes, not sure where to start with this one. Booked a three hour shoot with Rob at Pozers Studio near Swindon, at which his duo photographic partner, Melany participated. Very short notice and unusual for me, (I’m getting older and need more time to think😂.) So, so pleased I did. This partnership is incredible, they feed ideas off one another, which make a shoot with them beyond belief. Rob is so positive with his understanding of your requirements and delivers on the button every time. Any direction from me was absorbed like a sponge allowing me to just get on with the pleasurable task of creating the image. I’m sure, without doubt, a shoot with Rob on his own would be an experience, with Melany as well, not sure I can find a powerful enough description to cover them both. If you love creating images, for heavens sake, book one or both as soon as you can, if you don’t, you will seriously regret it. Thank you so much Rob for a wonderful afternoon in your company sir.

Just got back from an incredible two days shooting with Rob at PoZers Studio in Swindon. We covered everything from art nude to boudoir and vintage.

Rob works so hard in preparing for his shoots that we always hit the ground running. As well as having all his outfits and poses well thought out, he is fun, professional and spontaneous - willing to try out and adapt new ideas on the spot. We always come up with new and original concepts everytime we shoot together which is what makes working with him so exciting and rewarding.

His energy and enthusiasm is infectious and he works so brilliantly as part of a team. Rob always makes everyone feel very relaxed and happy and this shows in the pictures we get and how happy the photographers always are.

I can’t wait for our next studio day on 15th December in Gloucester! Until then, thank you so much Rob!

I don't even know where to start with Rob's reference, there is so much to say, and all of it positive, so here goes.... From the minute you meet Rob, it's like meeting an old friend, his smile is full of warmth, his welcome is like that of a family member, and his personality and laughter is infectious. Rob has the most phenomenal wardrobe, his suits, shirts, braces, hats, shoes, this man is dapper from head to toe, and what's even more amazing, he's equally as stylish and dapper with no clothes, as his art nude posing is phenomenal, and he is the only male model I have ever met and worked with, it wouldn't matter if his suitcase got lost in transit, he would nail fashion in his casuals, underwear styling with his smalls, and his art nude will have you creating endless images, we did 10 hours of art nude together (on a previous visit) and we never run out of ideas, in fact, we still had plenty more ideas, that we will save for another day.

This particular visit, Rob came to the studio with his partner in crime, Melany, for a 2 day studio event, and as with their visit back in the summer, it was a sell out occasion and Melany and Rob, blew all my photographers away, with their styling, charisma, posing, attitude and the connection they have when they work together, it's amazing. Rob's portfolio is amazing, and this should speak for itself, but meeting Rob, is so much more of an amazing experience, than you would ever imagine, he is always improving, he always tries something new with Melany, for every single photographer, I don't think I saw them strike the same pose, all weekend. Rob and Melany kept to the photographers briefs, narratives, mood boards, like the true professionals they are, but they cast their magic, gave it their twist, and nailed every single set, each and every time. Whether you book Rob on his own, or in a duo with Melany, you will always get 110% effort, dedication, hard work and passion from him, and your portfolio will totally benefit having Rob as part of it, there is a reason Rob and Melany are my models of choice, and their portraits are the avatar of PoZer's studio page, because they are magical. Thanks for everything Rob, my time in the studio with you, is always such fun and such an amazingly constructive session, can't wait to have you back at PoZer's, your a star.

Shadows and LIght

Retro Rob came to Bristol to do a duo shoot with the wonderful Melany so I simply couldn't resist booking them. We had planned a number of different scenarios which made use of their trademark strengths but it all added up to a hugely enjoyable, varied and productive shoot.

Rob is both hugely enthusiastic and supportive and he has a tremendous chemistry with Melany which produces effortless looking poses in a variety of contexts. They intuitively support each other which makes the photographers task very easy indeed, even when the pose might be considered too intimate for many.

All in all, a terrific shoot with a couple of true professionals and I would recommend without reservation.

I had another very successful studio day with Rob in Bristol - the time flew by! We worked with three very lovely photographers and once again produced some awesome images.

Whether we're shooting fine art nude, boudoir style, portraits or vintage, Rob produces the most amazing poses and expressions. He is professional, fun, considerate, and a total gentlemen. He is always very encouraging with new photographers and helps them to get the best shot. He has unlimited energy and puts 100% into every shot from the start of the day right the way through until the end.

I can't wait to work with Rob again at our next studio day in Swindon in November. Thank you so much Rob for another brilliant day :)

I have wanted to work with Rob for a while, and the tour with Melany was a perfect opportunity. I was certainly not disappointed. Rob was his usual stylish self in the suit, but also worked superbly with Melany to create wonderful art nude poses.

Rob has a lovely personality, and was so easy to get on with, supportive of my ideas, and a real pleasure to work with.

I hope to work with Rob again.

Having worked with Melany previously and seeing the great work that she and Rob produce - it didn't take me long to commit to booking some time on their duo studio day at Studio 58.

Had a rough plan for the shoot - but on seeing the wood panelling in the studio, pitched a slight change of plan and we spent all our time attempting to create some stylised sets - Rob brings the style in abundance - so seemed a shame not to take advantage.

Rob brings so much character to role and is very expressive - the tilt of the head, the tasing of can eyebrow leads to a completely different mood.

Some great images captured, looking forward to processing them.

Highly recommended and I do hope to work together again. Tentative plans made to shoot again next year.

Well that was fun! A while back Rob sent me a note about my stuff, and we chatted. Anyone can see I don't really shoot male models barring as part of a duo with some well developed idea. But given Rob's portfolio and looks I had an idea which thankfully he liked as much as I did. So this was my first solo male shoot. Oo-er missus!!!

Comms wise Rob's spot on. In person he's a great guy, funny, humble, smart and sensible, and with a clear vision of his 'brand' (he had me in fits when he donned what his version of 'scruffy' clothes was for part pf the shoot). He brought exactly the right stuff clothes wise for the shoot (scruffy, waaa haaa haaa) and some fantastic and very relevant props.

I had some pretty clear images in my mind and I'd say Rob made them happen in front of my eyes. I'm delighted with the raw results. In fact I'm almost wondering what I can do to edit them. So you can imagine I might well recommend him somewhat.

Thanks for a great shoot Rob, when we come up with a cool theme for another, I'll be dragging you back, maybe with a partner in crime or whatever, who knows eh? :-)

Finally got to work with Rob for the first time at Far Forest Studio on his studio day with Melany, we spent a couple of hours shooting some vintage style images with some great results, Rob brought along lots of props and outfits and loads of ideas and made the shoot fun. Highly recommended and I am looking forward to shooting with him again soon.

I've shot with Retro Rob many times and as with the previous shoots this one went very well! Rob's pre-shoot comms are excellent, he is great at planning for the day. So much so that we arrived at Far Forest for our studio day with a range of gorgeous vintage outfits and lots of props and ideas for new art nude duo poses.

Rob is very friendly and courteous - a total gentleman. He always makes the photographers feel comfortable and relaxed and works incredibly well as part of a team.

It was a long day and yet Rob worked so hard throughout and did not tire at all - putting the same amount of effort and energy into the last shoot of the day as he did to the first.

Rob is very creative and forthcoming with new and inspiring ideas. He poses extremely well in both vintage and nude. For the vintage sets, he creates such superb narrative with his exceptionally well-styled out outfits and his acting abilities ensure that the photographer gets shots with a genuine feel and narrative.

Rob is fairly new to art nude photography but has a real affinity with it and produces high quality work with classical style, emotive posing.

In short, I very highly recommend Rob to models, photographers and studios as he is reliable, professional, productive, friendly and above all a very talented model! Thank you Rob for another fantastic studio day, let's start prepping for the next!

Second time I've shot with Rob and Melany; once again at Far Forest Studio on their tour. We concentrated on art nude poses and they, apparently with minimal effort, produced lots of different shapes and styles. We all contributed ideas and they were keen to try anything! In the 2 hours we managed both high and low key and finished with some creative body stocking poses. The only problem is 2 hours is not enough.

PoZers was honoured to host a duo day with Rob, and his beautiful “partner in crime”, Melany, and cliche or not, Rob is a absolutely phenomenal male model, who I could shoot 7 days a week, and never ever become bored. From the off Rob is a perfect gentleman, his entire look, his personality, the ora around him, his total presence in the studio, is spellbinding. It’s like meeting a film star, from the Hollywood era, and his clothing, style and attitude is mind blowing, yet he’s so humble, and this, ladies and gentleman, is what makes this man so special. Rob treated my clients with the upmost respect, patient with those who are still new in the industry, and complimetarary of every shot. Watching Rob in action is just captivating, his work and posing with Melany, is some of the most phenomenal art nude duos, I have ever witnessed. The friendship they share is beautiful in every way, they are funny, their strength and support for one another is so unique, and please, don’t bother trying to copy their work, what they have is magical, you will just look silly. Rob has so much grace, he is gentle and caring, yet strong and has a beautifully toned body, that looks as though it’s been sculpted in the Greecian or Roman period, totally timeless and he pushes his capabilities to the max, to get that pose. What I loved about them both, is how they tried poses they’ve never done before, they took risks, but nailed it each and every single time, it was mesmerising, just watching them. I wasn’t just the studio owner today, I actually booked Rob and Melany myself, which is just greedy, but I couldn’t stand back, and watch my clients, capture all the amazing images if this duo, without taking pictures myself. Rob didn’t dissapoint, I have taken some of my best portrait images today, thanks to the magnetism this gentleman has , in front of the camera, the connection he had with Melany, I just had to capture this for myself, and it was such an honour. If your thinking of booking this fine gentleman, then don’t hesitate, please, as a photographer, or studio owner, this will be the best decision of your photographic journey, and that if your clients, or portfolio. Rob had the full package, and I am telling you now, he is one of the best male models, I have ever had through the studio doors, and I am truly honoured that Rob is coming back again, with Melany, for an entire weekend in November, and I will 100% be booking them myself, again. First class gentleman, five star model, 10000000% recommended from me and my clients. Thank you so much Rob, for being such a dream to work with, a pleasure to talk to, fabulous gent to laugh with, and a complete God to photograph. Working on the edits now, you’ve spilt me :):):)
