I had a fantastic studio day with Rob at the fantastic Far Forest Studios. We did a mix of vintage and art nude sequences. Rob helped me with the styling for this event and did an amazing job! He put together several vintage looks for us with props - the photographers we worked with loved his ideas, enthusiasm and creativity.

He’s such fun to with, very easy-going, professional and energetic. For the art nude, he’s strong and flexible and able to hold difficult poses - a total natural at this genre of photography with superb posing and physique. This gave the photographers two very different looks for their portfolios.

In short, I highly recommend Rob to any photographer (new and established), if you want quality images for your portfolio. I also recommend him to models to work with as he’s lots of fun, professional and full of ideas :)

Had my first shoot with Robbie today and well, he is worth waiting for!

Had great pre-comms prior to our shoot, until I picked him up from the station, so a good start! :)

Despite the cold, snowy weather, we had a fantastic time shooting some art nude images to change up his portfolio.

Art nude, not being something he's done much of before, took to it like a duck to water. He flowed from pose to pose with ease and was happy to take direction from myself as well.

We had some great little chats in-between sets, and it felt like I'd known him for years, he has a great vibe about him and is so easy to get on with!

Super friendly, chatty fella, who really puts his all into his creative work, I can't tell you how much of a pleasure it was to get the chance to work with him and we're already talking about our next shoot!

Highly recommended.

I had the greatest pleasure of meeting Rob today. He was the model at a shoot in my studio.

He is one of the most charming people I have met. His style is unbelievable, the images that I saw on the camera were awesome! He has the most incredible "crip" look. I can't wait to work with him when the weather warms up and we can go outside where I think he will be even more in his element!

I have no hesitation in recommending him.

A gentleman in every sense of the word, Rob is an absolute pleasure to work with. Pre-shoot comms were spot on, ensuring a straightforward day with no surprises. Within the first seconds of meeting him I knew I'd been wise to book him, he knows his style and everything was just "right". Rob works well with or without direction, brings ideas and suggestions that enhance the shoot and knows how to make the most of his features and physique.

Though the thirties style is definitely his trademark, don't leave him in that box, he will excel whatever you ask of him.

It was a pleasure to welcome Rob to the studio. He has a fantastic look and is very professional. He had a great rapport with the photographer and they ended up getting fantastic shots. After a number of shoots in London and being published with this guy Christmas 2016, I pretty much thought I had concluded everything I could do with him, then I received a message, I'm coming to Bristol..and thought to myself it would have been rude not to oblige the opportunity.

So we started to discuss the shoot, when Rob was quick to realise that I wanted to try something completely different with him, which worried him a little at first, but after several trust me's, he went along with the plan.

Rob came to my house, this was the first time we actually shot studio style, which in all honesty is my weakest point, so there was a lot of nerves and worries..

So I started to find props and came up with some gorgeous items that really suited the style well.

A.T photography shot with him first, then I shot what i wanted and considering the concept, I think we managed to bring something new to Rob's port, only the love will tell.

Always an absolute pleasure to see and work with him, but that's easy to say when you have had multiple FPI's, competition wins and publications with this model.

So for anyone that hasn't had the opportunity, I can honestly say, try Rob out, apply for castings, he will always put 150% in a shoot, you simply can't lose with him and you would be silly not to work with him.

Once again my friend it was a complete pleasure and privilege and will see you back in the capital soon.

Today I had the pleasure of a second shoot with Rob. This time we tried something new for both of us - an art nude duo, and we were lucky enough to collaborate with the very talented and lovely Wavepower.

Rob’s pre-shoot comms were excellent and he was very clear and creative with the ideas that he put forward - this creative input was also evident on the day of the shoot and despite it being his first art nude duo shoot, Rob has a natural understanding, aptitutude and ability for art nude shapes.

Rob is professional, a complete gentlemen, and fun to work with. He puts his heart and soul in the shoot and is open to suggestions and up for trying out other people’s ideas.

I felt we made an excellent team with a Wavepower and I hope to working again with both of them soon, and can’t wait to see the pictures.

So, I highly recommended Rob - clothed or nude he is a very talented model with a unique look and fantastic physique, he is able to pose effortlessly and takes direction extremely well - I’m very much looking forward to our next shoot together :)

Wavepower

This was my first shoot with Rob - someone I had been following for some time and much admired the character work he does so well.

The shoot was born from a suggestion made by Melany during an earlier shoot about a project she was hoping to do. When she indicated the project was to be a nude duo shoot with Rob I immediately volunteered.

In the lead up to the shoot, many ideas were exchanged and developed. Rob even suggested a get-to-know you phone call, and he came across as such an easy going, caring person.

Meeting Rob was a pure pleasure. He is a natural gentleman, thoughtful, observant and appreciative of what people do around him.

I understand this was his first nude shoot, not that it was apparent; to me he appeared relaxed the whole time. Rob has a good physique and readily got into some demanding poses. He is easy to collaborate with, is hard working, enthusiastic and readily inputs his own ideas.

I wholeheartedly recommend Retro Rob, whether for clothed or nude shoots.

Thank you for your vital contribution to this shoot Rob. We are already thinking about a repeat in the New Year.

What a fantastic shoot with this extremely professional gentleman. Robbie was a joy to work with showed up early, fantastic wardrobe, receptive to ideas yet along with a shed load of his own input and poses. Robbie is easy going, relaxed and has a great sense of humour.

Really happy to work with Robbie and can not recommend this guy enough, look forward to working with him again in the near future.

Wow what another great session with Retro Rob we put on a portfolio builder workshop on today, what can i say robbie just keeps on delivering the goods.

i cannot recommend this guy enough he is just superb, all the photographers were very pleased with there results and all want to shoot him again, so we will be booking up another date soon, if you have not shot this guy you need to hes one of the best, i think we have got a Bromance going on lol

Rob had a suitcase full of retro clothes with him.

He was very enthusiatic had lots of ideas we got on well.

Working with him was lots of fun and straight foward.

Shooting with Rob today was an absolute pleasure and a privilege. He's extremely talented and has plenty of ideas for creating interesting, inspiring and original images. His vintage styling is spot on, and his natural charisma shows in the final images. We had a great collaborative shoot today with A.T Photography - and all three of us worked very well together on a film noir style concept that we developed.

The conditions weren't great as it was cold, windy and pouring with rain but Rob kept us all positive with his great sense of humour and enthusiasm for the shoot. Rob is a natural model and extremely versatile - he is professional, dedicated and hard-working, so 100% highly recommended from me! :)

My apologies for a late reference... been a little manic .. but what can I say ... the amazing Rob .. finally got him .. it was a great shoot especially with it being steam punk . The photo shoot was great he did show another side that was outstanding. If you have the time to book a shoot with Rob.. do it now ..hes an amazing guy to work with and highly recommend him .

Had an amazing day with Rob .. an awesome model to say the least ... his ideas come across clearly and present me with clear defined image of what he would like .

I have worked with Rob a few times and he is a model you can be at home with .. relaxed ..funny and a great man to boot.

We will be shooting again most defiantly..so watch this space .

Working with Rob was just so much fun... He was humorous, whilst remaining professional. He needed very little direction and knew how to pose effortlessly the the character he had become. He made some suggestions on how best to tailor his outfit to complement the look I wanted. He arrived with a suitcase full of accessories and outfits that he had thought may or may not work.

He was uncomplicated and straight forward and I would recommend him in a heartbeat. I hope to get to work with Rob again soon

I was delighted when Retro Rob replied to my casting for a gangster shoot; he was perfect for the role and was entirely professional throughout. Great communications and a thoroughly nice guy. I am delighted with the results and have so many great images it will take me a long time to process them all, but I'm not complaining. We all had a terrific time and even went for a beer afterwards. We have spoken about another shoot soon, probably a studio instruction day.
