I contacted Phil to ask if he would be interested in working with me and to my sheer delight he said yes!! This was also my first visit to The Boardroom, a space that I had never visited before but had heard SO much great stuff about that I knew I just had to go there!!!

All pre comms with Phil were great, we had a chat around some ideas we wanted to explore for the shoot and he provided me with clear directions to the studio.

On the day of the shoot I arrived and was greeted with a smile from the lovely Phil. He showed me around the studio and we had a good natter over a cuppa! We devised a rough shoot plan and began working together.

Firstly I must say what a beautiful large, airy space The Boardroom is!!! WOW! The Georgian windows and just divine with the softest natural light which floods in and is just asking to be photographed!!! The changing area is comfortable and well stocked. The space is kept warm and there Phil has everything you could ever want! Me and Phil worked through a number of sets during our time together including a fashion set with the natural light, some lingerie and some strong portraiture. Finishing off with a 'wet look' androgenous look. Needless to say, Phil absolutely nailed each one in terms of lighting, composition and set up. He was completely respectful of me and I found him incredibly inspiring. I best just not mention his 'shooting facial expressions' ...... !!! ;) ;) ;)

All in all, an incredible shoot and lovely time with Phil at The Boardroom. I would absolutely love to return and highly highly reccomend Phil and his wonderful space. Thank you so much for a wonderful shoot Phil (and for the most amazing Bao Buns ever!!!) See you soon!!! :D

My second shoot now with Phil, I am truely so greatful to work with him - he has helped me tick my bucket list wishes in regards to Photography! My dream for a shoot was to wear a big gown - and because of Phil i got to do it :) lovely human, easy to chat to. Cares about what the model wants. Shows the photos, endless cups of tea. Time flies way too quickly. I truely hope we can shoot again :)

I had SUCH an amazing studio day at The Boardroom recently, fully sold out, with some incredible photographers booking on - every shoot went so well, the studio is a perfect backdrop for natural light portraits, playing around with gels, wide angle shapes, remote shooting, so many beautiful pictures!

It’s a brilliant space, Phil is great to chat to & shoot with (what a shoot!), and is immensely helpful with lighting/shoot set ups, would highly recommend The Boardroom to all creatives (and Phil, he’s an INCREDIBLE photographer).

The studio has some great space, nice features and great natural light.

As well as a large selection of lights and backdrops if required.

I had my first shoot at The Boardroom earlier today, why have I never worked here before??

My 'thing' is a love for natural light and this studio is perfect for the boudoir style I love to do. There are plenty of props available, along with studio lighting if needed, but those windows...

Phil is the perfect host and was only too happy to help out whenever required.

Also, I have now been introduced to what could become a new obsession, Biscuit Tea !! Whoever thought that would be a thing?

I've not shot at The Boardroom for some time ,as it's some distance from me , but for me it really is the studio that sets the standard. It's such a fabulous space , and kept to a very high standard. It has everything you could hope for in a studio and in Phil it has a fabulous host who understands what a photographer needs. Recommended without hesitation.

Had my first shoot today, I've gotta say - this was one of my favourite shoots ! I got to wear a beautiful gown and another set of lovely outfits ! Phil was welcoming, friendly and easy to chat to. Such a kind person. Also makes THE best cuppa tea.

Extremely talented and I couldn't stop saying "I love that photo"! I loved them all! Highly recommend, would love to shoot again :)

Had a 3 hour shoot yesterday and the studio is amazing great natural light along side studio light.

Phil was accommodating and had great ideas the photos were amazing. There was plenty of props as well as back grounds to add depth to the images. Id definitely recommend Phil and the studio to others and Id be happy to do another shoot with Phil.

My second visit to the Boardroom after a 2 year gap! Phil was as welcoming and helpful as ever and the studio space is full of natural light that can be easily controlled via the use of the period shutters. Definitely a studio to visit if you haven't already done so - highly recommended!

I shot at The Boardroom for the first time a few days ago, having spent a couple of years being aware of its outstanding reputation as one of the UK's GoTo studios. And I am sure pleased I did!

Phil was legendary. He spent ages helping me organise a session around busy schedules, and also helped me connect with a few models that suited my requirements as well as helping me with a few things during the day, like finding pieces of fabric, etc.

His name and trust, and integrity, in the modelling and photography community carry a lot of weight and without him, I would not have achieved the work I have recently created.

I will be there again next time when I need to do a session, which, with my requirements of building a commercially viable portfolio of work, is likely to be very soon.

Thank you Phil for all your great work with me. I will not forget it.

If you love a bit of natural light, this is the studio for you!

We are currently expecting, and had been looking for the perfect studio space to capture baby bump in timeless elegance. With its stunningly huge windows and high ceilings, the Boardroom delivered on being our beautiful space for the day.

Phil was wonderfully accommodating and really went above and beyond for us. Initial comms of securing a date were very smooth, and he so kindly set up the entire shoot for us prior to our arrival on the day, with all the backdrops and props we wanted to use. Cups of tea and coffee were offered throughout the shoot, and he was on hand to assist with all our needs.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to create such personal art that we will treasure forever in this stunning studio. We would love to come back to create more!

Thanks again to the wonderfully kind Phil for a shoot we will never forget!

I made my first visit to the Boardroom this afternoon.

The place is great and Phil is a gent who made me feel very welcome.

The natural light that the studio benefits from is wonderful and the range of lighting available was great too.

The on site parking was a great help and the studio is easy to find.

The studio has a great atmosphere and has ample space. I hope to visit the studio again in the not too distant future.

I had my first shoot at the Boardroom on Sunday with Artemis Fauna and Carla Monaco.The studio is great for natural light photography.Phil was helpful and he makes a good cup of coffee.I would definitely recommend the Boardroom.

Always happy smiley with lots of giggles to boot ! I love the way he moves furniture and props round at such speed. He is always easie with direction and continued feed back. Went out of his way to get some images to me that night which I was thrilled about .....all in all a very fun and professional shoot ! Thank you Phil....
