I shoot at the Boardroom first time last week and I can say it is perfect! Very bright and versatile, plenty of parking, and loads of photographic opportunities in the studio, various backdrops etc. I worked here with the fashion designer on her latest collection. It is very nice atmosphere to work in and the studio owner is very accommodating and helpful. I would recommend this studio to any photographer or model as it gives you everything you need from a studio :)

I have had two shoots at The Boardroom so far.

Each time it was clean, well maintained, and equipped with an array of props, backgrounds and lighting equipment.

Phill was friendly, very helpful and informative.

All though I have shot at the board room before, this was my first studio day there ! I was super nervous but completely enjoyed it once I was there and started working with the photographers. The Board Room is a wonderful studio to work at, the space is so wonderfully full of white light you just carnt go wrong. Every convenience is provided and everything you need is on hand, its all being thought of ! Phil is a lovely very friendly host, easy to talk too and approach. At the end of the day I got to experience what he was like as a photographer and he was no less fun. Obviously someone who has shot for a long time, he shows ease, competence and confidence. He also threw sets together at lightening speed and as fast as I could turn round which made me smile. He gave good direction and has ideas about what he wanted to see. Thank you Phil for hosting my model day and shooting with me to......I had a wonderful time !

This was my first shoot at The Boardroom as part of a Bridal Event with Angel Black UK.

The Boardroom has beautiful white wooden panelled walls and window shutters, Georgian features and an excellent choice of sets, props, and studio/continuous lighting.

Phil the studio owner was very friendly and helpful, assisting with the lighting, props, and camera settings. Phil even explained the history of the building. Phil worked very well with both the model and photographers.

The Boardroom is highly recommended, and I will without doubt return for another shoot!

I think this studios versatility speaks for itself to be honest - there are just so many sets you could create and each one would be totally unique. I recently hosted my Bridal Event there, utilising the white and airy space with the natural light and from the first step into the venue until I was safely packed into my car heading home, Phil went above and beyond.

Firstly, the studio itself is nice and big and has plenty of equipment for photographers of all abilities. The lighting is easy to use but good quality and the space, as mentioned, is very versatile.

Phil is just such a lovely person with a true heart of gold. He set up the lighting ad even took the time to explain to one of the attending photographers what he had done and why. He was on hand to help me any time I needed it, and didn't grumble at all. My lunch break was slightly interrupted meaning I didn't have the time to finish my food, but at the end of the shoot day he went above and beyond, heating it up and making sure I was fed before my 3.5 hour drive onwards. He has a true heart of gold.

Ps - his photography and retouching abilities are mind boggling and you should book him for this regardless!

I love this venue and will always return here - its just a stunning facility with an amazing owner.

I had a wonderful time working at The Boardroom last week for the first time. I booked out 3 full days at the studio- Phil the owner is such a great host, so friendly and down to earth, he made me feel at home straight away.

The studio itself is fabulous to work in, classy sets, backgrounds, props, beautiful natural light-so much you can utilise for your images.

I really enjoyed my first visit to The Boardroom in Derby during my recent tour of the East Midlands, booked at this wonderful space with photographer Decadent Images. We had an amazing shoot at this absolutely superb, light filled and spacious studio.

Full of fantastic props, gorgeous decor, the owner Phil was there to greet us, so very welcoming and helpful. He read my mind also as after we introduced ourselves and he showed me around the kettle was on. 😁

Whilst I was shooting with Decadent Images, Phil was on hand if need be to assist with anything.

Highly recommended to all creatives, a spacious, clean and very professional studio with a high standard of lighting tech, backdrops and props. The perfect photography studio to get creative in with endless opportunities to capture excellent images.

I had my first shoot at the Boardroom today and it was a superb experience. The studio is well located in a quiet part of town and is easily found. It also has a couple of secure parking spaces which are within a few steps to the rear of the studio so very easy when arriving with equipment too.

The studio is a superb space and very well equipped. Phil was on hand throughout to assist when necessary and was only too happy to move any props and lighting. Phil is very professional and takes you through any equipment you may wish to use but that you may be unfamiliar with but in a relaxed and easy going manner which puts you at ease and gives you confidence in using the equipment.

A space that is so versatile I'll certainly be visiting it again in future.

Today brought my 5th visit to this stunning and incredibly versatile studio.

Today I shot dresses and corsets with large skirts with photographer Bal Dhallion.

Phil is an absolute star, nothing is ever too much trouble. His eye for design and set building is amazing. I asked him to knock us up something and it really didn’t disappoint. So so pretty.

I’ve been coming here for a number of years now, and for very good reason! What is there not to like about The Boardroom?! It’s stylish, classy and timeless and with so many lighting options and an array of beautiful backdrops including handpainted ones, it’s a sure winner for me. That’s the basics…. The boardroom has the nicest atmosphere always and I’m always welcome with a smile and a lovely brew by Phil. Easily one of my all time favourite studios to work from and I’ll always return, in fact, I’d barely gotten back home and already nudged Phil for another date in the calendar… this place really is something special. If you haven’t yet worked here please do yourself a favour and get yourself booked in. Fabulous, just simply fabulous.

Had a fabulous studio day at The Boardroom Studio. On the day of shooting Phil kindly collected me from the station and was friendly and welcoming towards me.

I had a fabulous studio day and me and the photographers had a wonderful time together. Phil was really helpful at designing sets for me and the photographers and helping us with lighting and kindly bringing us hot drinks.

Me and Phil also managed to squeeze in a short shoot as well and Phil is just incredible to work with his really good at direction and knows how to bring out the best in me. We produced some fabulous sets together.

Never shot at the Boardroom before so jumped at the opportunity to take part in a duo shoot. Was met by Phil who was helpful and offered loads of advice and assistance if required.

I was only there for two hours and loved every minute. From the images Phil has created brilliantly I can see there is even more potential and even more reasons to return in the future.

Been wanting to shoot at this Studio for a while and wasn't disappointed. Far from it.

Phil was very welcoming. Had great pre comms and was very helpful before, during and after the shoot.

The Studio itself is beautiful and very unique, not too far from the Station (A nice 20 min walk)

All in all, I am adding this Studio to one of my go to spots. Very highly recommend and can't wait to do it again.

I'd heard great things about The Boardroom studio and I have to say they were all correct. Fantastic space in which to work with super natural light coming through the large, north facing, windows. Phil was very helpful with lighting suggestions and set ups for me. I very much recommend the studio (and Phil) and hope to visit again very soon
