I had the marvellous pleasure of having a studio day at Nic's studio last Monday. Pre comms were brilliant, the studio was packed within a week or so of organising, and everyone was able to get in touch with me so I knew what to pack. He picked me up from the station and dropped me off with time to spare. His studio is truly amazing with so many theatric sets including a stage, stage lighting, usual lighting set ups, grandfather clock, a brilliant changing room with tons of shoes, clothes, and props to use. I really was in heaven there!

Everyone that attended the shoot was lovely, professional, and fun, Nic was more than happy to help with set lighting, and prop arranging as well helping the shoots flow with ease.

We also had some time at the end to zip through a couple of sets before I headed back to the North, I felt entirely comfortable working with Nic, fun personality and so easy to work with, himself and his studio come easily and highly recommended by me and I hope to be back again for another day of madness!

I had another great shoot using Nic's studio on 10th November and this studio as always provides great adaptability for sets and superb lighting. Nic is always on hand to help with lighting and set as required, his professionalism and advice always aids to getting that something special from a shoot.

If professional or amateurs alike want a great studio with lots of creative space with excellent lighting, and good hospitality and professional help then do book this studio.

I already have two possible shoots in mind to go back here again in the early months of 2016.

I shot with Nic for the first time yesterday, at his studio. Firstly, the place is awesome - lovely high ceilings lots of space and lots and lots of clothes, shoes and wigs to play around with! Nic's comms were spot on, we discussed what he was hoping to achieve and what I should bring, and was friendly and professional throughout the shoot. We played about with a lot of ideas - some in the original plan and some were creative tangents! All of it was good fun, Nic is pleasant to work with. He also handed me the camera to check images (when one of the poses was potentially more revealing than I prefer) and allowed me delete as I saw fit. I enjoyed the shoot a lot and will happily return another time - with the red wig he gave to me (as promised!), and I recommend Nic and the studio to all :)

I recently shot at Blackbarn. Nic was there ready to go and helped the photographer I was working with to achieve the various set ups that he was after. Everything was organised, we were well looked after and had a lovely time using the studio. I look forward to my next shoot there :) Highly recommended studio.

Wow!

I've shot in some studio's in my few years modeling, but Black barn is like Aladdin's Cave Spacious full of prop's I could seriously spend a whole day there shooting and never get bored. Nic Is polite professional and a great host. I think this is one of the most well equipped studios I've ever been in.

Spent four hours at Black Barn yesterday which went really well. Nic was quick to respond to questions when booking and provided excellent directions. The place is easy to find and parking is easy too. Nic was only too happy to help me set up the lighting as I described and the studio is full of handy bits and pieces when you discover you haven't brought quite the right prop with you.

I'd definitely use this studio again.

I had the pleasure of working at Black Barn on Monday - Nic had everything organised and the studio is vast and fabulous with a great range of lighting and effects (including the smoke machine). Nic was unobtrusive but always ready to add or alter the set at my request and this combined with the very beautiful model Elle Beth to me getting some great images beyond my talent. I certainly will use the studio again and for all you out there as the weather gets colder a real bonus.. Nic keeps the studio warm.

Nic's a nice guy and most helpful, would differently use this studio again. :-)

I had my first shoot with nic a few months ago and had an amazing time! so happy with all of the pictures!! Cant recommend him enough! gave me guidance and advice the whole way through which was perfect for me as a new model! Would love to work together in the future again! Thank you nic!

It is an excellent studio with great vintage props/clothing/decor/lighting which gives you a lot of options to explore.

Had a fabulous shoot with Nic yesterday, he is very passionate and knows what he likes. Nic was very professional, gave good direction and had lots of patience with me as I have only had a couple of shoots. I would definitely recommend Nic to any model, he made me feel at ease and I had a great time I would most definitely love to work with Nic again his pics are fantastic! I had a great shoot at Blackbarn yesterday. The space is very large and comes with lots of lights, modifiers, props and backdrops and Nic is extremely helpful. When I found the space wasn't quite big enough for my unusual requirements he was more than willing to move things around and alter the space to help me get what I was after.

What's more, when asked for advice on lighting Nic's replies are always worth listening to.

Had a great Latex Photography tutorial at the very unique Blackbarn Studios. It really felt going to a theatre more than a studio, which added to the atmosphere and there was plenty of props which could be used to create really great settings.

I meet Nic and Zara before being taken to the main part of the studio where Nic begun to explain how the unique light set-ups work for Latex photography. He was very thoroughly in his explanations and then we moved on to using one light at a time on Zara to show what effect each light had before moving on to the main shoots.

Nic was full of enthusiasm which was infectious and really helped when creating new ideas and changing the lighting throughout. He even let me borrow a lense! Thoroughly recommend both Nic and the studio whether it be for tutorials or castings. Hope to shoot there again!
