I shot at Blackbarn today as part of a tutorial on shooting latex which Nic was running. I have previously shot at the studio on several occasions (both tutorials and straight studio bookings). In each case Nic has been knowledgeable and helpful when requested but has left me to get on with things in peace otherwise.

The studio itself is enormous and has large numbers of props but is can also be set up with simple black or white backgrounds.

I would recommend both the studio for booking and Nic himself for tutorials.

I had a really nice shoot at Nic's studio. Blackbarn is a great studio with loads of space, sets and props. Nic is also a top notch guy providing loads of advice and help with whatever you need to improve a shoot.

Definitely recommended.

Had a studio day at Nic's studio in Blackbarn and as usual its filled with different things to use and backdrops.

There are lots of lighting choices to choose from, clothes, props etc.

I love the amount of space as well and it has a huge industrial heater so the place stays warm on the chillier winter days :-)

Nic is friendly and helps photographers if they need as well,

I have recently worked at Nics studio 3 times, it is a great space with lots of different options of where to shoot in order to get a variety of different shots. Nic is very good with lighting and helping everyone achieve the exact results that we were after. I also had a great shoot with Nic himself, modelling alongside Lottie21 - which went very well and I thoroughly enjoyed our shoot together.

I worked with Nic for the first time yesterday and i had so much fun in our shoot.

First of all, his studio is absolutely amazing! Very big with high ceilings which is very handy for taller models who usually come out of backdrops in other studios!

Secondly, he's a very talented photographer, very easy to work with, full of creative ideas! I've already received a few images from our shoot yesterday and i must say i am very pleased.

I highly recommend Nic to other models, especially if you're looking for good quality images to add to your portfolio! Can't wait to work with him again in the future.

I worked with Nic for the second time this week, this time with Akari Desire on a soft G/G shoot it was planned last minute but was arranged easily and quickly. Nic has an amazing studio and he even kindly let me use it afterwards for shoots.

Nic is a great guy really easy to get along with, very professional and respectful at all times. He takes some stunning photographs and is very easy to work with!

I had a great shoot and hope we can shoot again soon! And hope to return to his studio too!

I worked with Nic on two workshops last month.

Brillant Studio, is the first thing i must note! the shooting space is very large with extremely tall ceilings and well equipped with lights and sets.

The whole place itself is very welcoming, with a great lounge to chat and discuss plans, the models private room is also very spacious and relaxing.

Nic himself is a great photographer and teacher, who i would recommend to any one wanting to learn more about lighting techniques in a studio.

Had an amazing time shooting again at Nic's studio. The studio has a lot of space, various backdrops and great props. I especially liked shooting on his chairs. The changing facility is also excellent and had clothes and accessories to use. Through out my time there Nic was always on hand to help if needed. Hope I will visit again in the future. Highly recommended.

I booked Nic's studio for a shoot yesterday. This was about the third time I've shot there and I've always been really happy with the results.

The studio is huge with lots of props and a varying selection of sets, but there is also space to just shoot against simple black or white backgrounds. Nic is happy to provide advice and help with setting up lights, etc.

I'll certainly shoot there again in future.

I worked with Nic on a snow white themed shoot at his lovely studio in Cambridge. I also had a studio day on one of the other days during my tour which I organised at the studio. The studio is lovely, a great space, with fantastic props, dresses and accessories which the model is free to use. The changing room is spacious, very well equipped and the facilities and parking in all are excellent.

Nic is also great to shoot with, fantastic with lighting and a talented photographer to work with. We achieved some beautiful results in just a few hours and I am really looking forward to seeing the results! Highly recommended and I hope we work together again. Happy Birthday Grumps! :) Helen x

I booked Nic's studio through a model Emma Willis and found the studio has so many different theme's a photographer can not fail to come away with some amazing photographs. Nic is so pleasant and helpful in setting up the studio in a new style of silhouettes for me and of course his two lovely dogs are so friendly. I will be booking Nic's studio again in October to do a tutoring session with two new photographers and look forward to seeing using the studio again. Many thanks Nic

I had a shoot with Ptcimages yesterday using Blackbarn Studios. The studio is clean, tidy and spacious affording all the amenities you could want including a large sumptuous dressing room/set, kitchen, toilet and dining area/set with a vast amount of room for different sets within the rest of the building. The potential for shoots with the sets and props has Nic has is endless.

His hospitality was excellent and was on hand at all times, interjecting with some great prop suggestions which he spun in to action with near the end of shooting. I highly recommend his studios and from the photography I have seen him do, would have no hesitation working with him in a model/tog capacity either.

I shot at Blackbarn studio yesterday - Nic showed great hospitality, inviting me in when I turned up an hour early! What a beautiful studio....Nic has created such stunning sets in the building, I feel privileged to have been able to pose in such precise and well thought out settings=)

I worked at Blackbarn studio today for the first time and had a great day! The studio is lovely very spacious and great height for aerial work! Very clean, inviting and so much space to use! Nic is a lovely man and is very friendly and helpful I even got to work with him for a bit with his great idea of modelling both with and without the Aerial Hoop hanging from a digger outside! He took some amazing images!! Really great eye and a great photographer and I hope I can get to work with Nic again! I would recommend Blackbarn studio 200% and Nic 200% too! Great studio and photographer!! Thank you Nic can't wait to see the digger results!!

I really enjoyed working with Nic on our second shoot.

We've been planning 'girl in a hoop' for a while and Nic was very patient while I got my costume together. He's fun to work with, helpful, considerate and very professional. He gave great direction during the shoot and I love the photos I've seen so far.

I'm looking forward to planning our next shoot and I'd highly recommend working with Nic.

Oh wow! Had a completely amazing shoot with Nic today!

Started in the early afternoon modeling for a tuition with a few photographers and then went on to a one on one shoot with Nic :)

He very kindly leant me some outfits and wigs to fit with our anime theme. He is great at giving direction and absolutely adore the studio set up!

Thank you for putting up with my tripping over and laughing!
