I love working with Jon, we always create stunners regardless of where we are or what we do. This time, plodding round Milton Keynes, taking advantage of every opportunity we could find.

I LOVE all the images :D haha Thanks Jon.

Jon also let me crash at his place before travelling on, the next day which I really appreciate.

Jon is a legend and if you get the chance to work with him, jump at it quick. You will not be disappointed.

I had the pleasure to attend a 121 tutorial led by Jon at Nicole Rayners picture palace in York. Both Jon and Nicole are absolutely wonderful people and the time just flew by.

Jon gave me some great tips to improve my photography and also a mystery free gift ( i wont spoil the surprise for others) Nicole is such a wonderful model and has a great sense of humour which put me very much at ease, they are both so easy to get on with, and Nicole also supplied never-ending coffee in between modelling ( thank you Nicole)

I can highly recommend Both Jon and Nicole and hope to work with them again.

Had my first shoot with Jon at the end of last year. Jon is a fantastic photographer - we instantly got on, and he really knew how to use the light and the space creatively! We got some amazing photos that I couldn't be happier with. Would love to work with him again, and would absolutely recommend him to others!

I recently worked with Jon in York, whilst Modelling with Nicole Rayner, and to say that this guy is amazing is an understatement.

He picked me up from York Station on the day of the Shoot, and straightaway we got into conversation and really hit it off. It was immediately obvious that he loves what he does, which comes across both when you speak to him, and also in the work that he produces. Jon is very easy to work with and very Professional too, and encouraged both Nicole and myself to come up with ideas and try things out, which, as a Model, is such a great thing, as he gives us the freedom to be natural and expressive in what we do, which helps us to produce the best images possible.

His amazing quality of work speaks for itself, and I cannot recommend Jon highly enough as a Photographer for anybody to work with.

This was my second shoot with Jon on one of his 1-2-1 tutorial sessions. The first, a little while ago, taught me so much (you can teach an old dog new tricks!!), however this time I learnt a whole lot more, plus re-remembered those that Jon showed me last time.

These sessions are so packed with ideas that unless you have a super memory some will just get lost along the way. Any way, it is such fun working with Jon, his enthusiasm for the work he does and the easy style in which it is delivered makes the whole day go by far too quickly. We worked with Nicole Rayner and she is such fun to work with, a beautiful model and the results achieved were just awesome.

Had a 1-2-1 indoor natural light tutorial with Jon and Nicole Rayner yesterday.

Jon covered everything including camera settings, composition, direction and using the available natural light to maximimum advantage.

I had asked for an insight into Jon's style of shooting and that

is what I got including one of his unusual gadgets for special light effects.

Jon and Nicole make a great team. As well as some excellent modelling, Nicole provided numerous tips and cuppas.

It was a most enjoyable half day, I learnt a lot about the genre

and highly recommend Jon's training.

So where do I start... First of all I'm very grateful Jon agreed to shoot with me, travelled not insignificant distance and made me feel very very comfortable. First of all, professional. I learned a lot from him, he helped me a lot during the shoot. So creative and clever. Secondly, hilarious sense of humour. Our shoot had been interrupted by uncontrolled outburst of laugh. Such a pleasure to work with. Love the images. Jon - thank you. It's been an honour.

Well where do i start!

Driving to Iain's i've literally never seen anyone so squashed in a car. Lol!

As usual Jon was his fun, loud, piss taking self ...

Which i absolutely love, bit of verbal abuse never hurt anyone. He just gets it back.

The fact he fancied Iain T giving him a bath, well thats another story. Lol!

Anyway, thought i'd leave you something random instead of all the boring shit i normally post.

Regardless your fricking awesome for holding the workshop with Iain T today. Loved every second!

Halo Photography

I attended one of Jon's tutorials which consisted of two hours shooting and one hour editing. Our model was Theresa Louise.

On arrival, I was greeted with friendly smiles. A cup of coffee followed shortly after. The tutorial ran at a comfortable pace and Jon put across a wealth of practical photography knowledge based on his way of working and thinking, in a way that was easy to understand. Jon and Theresa have an amazing working relationship which made the tutorial run like clockwork. I came away wanting to know more so will definitely book a tutorial with this dynamic duo again. Thank you Jon and Theresa for an amazing tutorial.

CREATIVE LENS

Just had a 1-2-1 with Jon (and Theresa - separate reference) and wow what a eye opener, it was like my epiphany!

Jon takes the photography rule book and throws it out the window (but in a good way). Some of his techniques are not rocket science but not all Photoshop either.

Although I was looking forward to it I did have reservations about long winded PS workflows but there was only minimal post work.

Most of Jon's ideas are in camera and easy enough for any duffer like myself to recreate but also hopefully spread my newly found artistic wings and fly off on my own migration.

I've already been searching the kitchen cupboards (Jon and T will understand this) and my mind is still wandering in all directions.

The money I spent this morning was really worth it and I would recommend his tutorials to anyone even if you don't know everything your camera can do for you!

Jon is also a really nice guy and the shoot is relaxed and goes at a pace that suits.

Thanks Jon I'm really excited going forward without my "rules"!

The idea is to leave a good reference if the photographer turned up and is recommended, hence why i leave one every time we shoot.

This guy by far is the funniest guy around. Unfortunately too many people are far to jealous of him as a person and his work.

Booked a 1-2-1 tuition shoot with Jon and the lovely Teresa Louise, what a down to earth guy he is, his tuition style is very easy going and works at a relaxed pace to make sure that the grasp of the concept or idea has been absorbed before moving on to the next part, plenty of shooting time with demo's,the partnership works really well with Theresa doing costume changes in between tuition sets to adapt her outfit to the style being shot.

I have picked up some great ideas and techniques from Jon today. well worth the trip to MK, even though I hate driving to shoots I would do this one again.

I had three hours of tuition with Jon and Theresa Louise at Theresa's home and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Over an initial coffee, Jon and I discussed what I hoped to get out of the session and also my style of photography before getting me to try out a number of practical scenarios with delightful results.

If you feel you're getting into a bit of a rut with your photography, a session with Jon and Theresa might be just what you need to jolt you out of it.
