Oh my Gooooood! After one year gap (almost), got a chance to see Jon again 😍❤ what take You so long, Jon? 😜😀

Last time, this gentleman made one of the best my bum pictures ever. He is really talented with it and really will wait to do it again.🍑😍

This time we invaded Cambridge streets, car parks and most importantly GREENS 😆 bare in mind we been kicked out from few places and handled a heatwave. Everything is just for cool pictures. 👍

I always been impressed about Jon's ability to see differeant angles, unexpected places for shooting and just incredible creativity. ❤ he brings something different to your portfolio.

Also, this photographer loves to laugh so much. You will never have awkward or silent moments because You will be laughing or Jon. There is no other way 😄❤

Lastly, he is very supportive and genuine. Would never let me doubt about myself and my skills.And most importantly, very protective about models safety 🤝

So I was incredibly lucky to get the chance to attend one of Jon’s 1to1 workshops.

What an incredible six hours! Jon is such a good teacher, I totally loved his calm and relaxed approach!

Many times I was totally blown away with what we achieved in camera. For the last 2 hours we took the images that we had created, and looked at the editing of these, to complete the process.

I can’t begin to explain how good these workshops are! Very highly recommended from me! Not only do you learn loads, but you will be guaranteed a great day! I could not have asked for more!

I booked a 6 hour one to one tutorial with Jon and Marla Pandora at a converted barn in Sussex and I am so glad that I did. Jon demonstrated a number of different shooting techniques that I hadn't done before and helped to open my eyes to some different shooting possibilities using natural light on location. He has a really friendly and laid back teaching approach and we also covered some post processing techniques as well at the end of the day. Oh, and we got some great shots during the course of the day as well!

I really feel that I benefited from the day and my only regret was that the 6 hours was not long enough.

Highly recommended.

Honestly every single shoot we have done is always us just falling about laughing ..im surprised we even get any serious Images !

I lurve this man , not only is he an inspirational photographer to so many (he will hate me saying that ) and his work is just downright awesome ( i can see him cringing at me now!) he is a great guy. He's funny, easy going , willing to try anything, crazy fool, caring and just a terrific guy who i consider a friend x

I look forward to every shoot we have and Jons expressions and sayings are legendary!!!

I had the great pleasure of meeting Jon today when I attended a shoot at Venus Studio, for a duo shoot with Marla Pandora and Angel Price. I have long admired Jon's work, so it was a huge bonus that he happened to be at the studio when I arrived. I found Jon to be a very down to earth, easy going gentleman who displayed great humility whilst we chatted. He showed great kindness in offering me some advise for my shoot, which was greatly appreciated.

I would welcome any opportunity to work with him and would highly recommend anyone else to do the same. He is an amazingly talented photographer, but more so a humble person.

OMG lost for words, had my second training session with Jon though the first one being group training this was a one to one. I was completely blown away yet again with the images Jon helped me get and the way he helped me see them. Jon is so patient and a way of making his pupils feel they are so welcome to be on his course what ever level you are. I am still pinching myself with the styles and excellence of the images we created.

I got to shoot with one of my fave photographers, and someone I now consider a true friend........Mr Jon Downs!

And he is sooooo EPIC :)

Everytime we shoot, he bumps up the magic and pulls even more breathtaking shots & effects out of the bag.....

I can't recommend Jon enough to everyone, he is a master at what he does, mesmirising with his creativity and a downright beautiful human :)

Jon turned out to not only to be nicer than he said he was! ..........but quietly incredible on so many levels and charm personified!

We had a brilliant tutorial with Jon and Marla (who may well be the reason cameras were invented :-) ) they far exceeded our expectations. We had a marvellous time and came away not only having learnt a great deal, but feeling truly inspired and really looking forward to our next shoot.

Had a wonderful day yesterday under Jon's guidance shooting the lovely Marla Pandora. I choose Jon for a 1 to 1 as everything I see of his is 100% different to mine. I am flash obsessed he loves natural light. What can I say. I am converted. Thank you Jon for a real life experience.

Obviously the quality in Jon's port speaks for itself, he takes good pictures - even if you don't intend to emulate his style, it is well worth having a tutorial session with him because his passion and creativity is very inspiring. He is very easy to get on with and dispenses tips without patronising. I wanted to go outside my comfort zone and Jon took me all the way to hand-held, high ISO awesomeness without me crying for my mommy once!

So the legendary Jon downs came down to work with me again and also Marla at my studio for a couple of days xx. I can't count the amount of times I have worked with Jon but I can say each one gets more funny , weird, naughty and just frigging awesome x

I had my 1st shoot with Jon and I must say, what an exceptional photographer.

Myself and the gorgeous Marla Pandora http://purpleport.com/portfolio/marlapandora/ along with my partner Stuart worked with Jon on multiple themes, some planned but most on the fly, with outstanding results.

Using only natural light for this shoot, Jon took some beautiful and captivating images and made it look easy. The time passed so quickly, with Jon providing ideas, direction and plenty of feedback about every shot.

This amazing photographer has blown me away with his breathtaking art. I highly recommend Jon Downs. Do not miss any opportunity to work with him.

Always a blast shooting with Jon and today was no exception. We had a fabulous time out and about round London town finding interesting locations to shoot in and I did my best to give Jon a heart attack by trying to strip as often and publicly as possible!

Great laugh, many good natural smiles in the pictures, excellent photographer but then you already know that. Highly recommended.

OBVIOUSLY, I'm bloody joking!! I have never laughed so much on a shoot ever!!! I cannot express how fabulous working with Jon is!! I had SO MUCH FUN!!!

And the shots are AMAZING!!! I have followed jobs work for ages and I love his recognisesable style! I really wanted jon to photograph me in my new house as I knew he would be able to use the space to its full potential!! I knew we'd get some awesome shots but wow! I was not expecting to get SO MANY AWESOME SHOTS!! I was blown away by the shots jon created.

And we did so many different sets!!

Jon is so talented! He is very knowledgeable but more importantly he's creative ! He made me feel so great in the shoot, he was really excited about the shots which makes me perform better as I relax when I know the photographer is happy with what they're getting!

I adore every shot Jon has produced so far and I'm super excited for another shoot with Jon as soon as possible!!

Natural Light & Post Processing Tutorial with Jon & Theresa Louise – January 11 - 2016

Attended a 1 to 1 tutorial with Jon and the Lovely Theresa Louise at her house. The training consisted of 3 hours shooting with Jon giving guidance and instruction on how to identify best shooting locations, develop stories and to fully use the capabilities of your camera in the most creative fashion. Jon and Louise made a first class combination both very friendly & knowledgeable with Theresa giving input from the models point of view which gave extra value to the training.

The last hour consisted of Lightroom and Photoshop tuition with Jon revealing some of his tricks in creating his trade mark images. I can highly recommend this training to any photographer who wants to develop his creatively and develop confidence working out side the studio in natural light,at a models house or apartment.

Even the most experienced photographer will come away with an appreciation of how buying things from the pound shop could seriously improve your creativity. Jon will also show you how Kitchen utensils can be used!!! Why buy expensive lenses just go on a one to one with Jon. Well worth the money.
