Tryst

It’s been 18 months in the making, but we finally had the chance to work together – and what a memorable day it was! Between the traffic chaos and train delays, it seemed like the universe was conspiring against us. But despite the challenges, John’s magical character and boundless creative energy cut through the noise, making everything worth it.

From the very first shot, it was clear we were creating something iconic. John’s ability to showcase feminine beauty, combined with his vast array of fascinating lenses I had never seen before, took our collaboration to the next level. His deep understanding of both the technical and artistic sides of photography is inspiring, and he handles his models with utmost care.

Moving forward, I’m eager to collaborate with him on a long-term basis. John is one of the true gems in this industry, and I look forward to continuing to learn and evolve with him, striving to become a better model with each shoot. I’m very excited for what’s to come!

Great shoot with John today at Zavod, and so glad we finally got to shoot together! I love the images in John's portfolio so I was pleased that today's shoot didnt disappoint! So refreshing that John shot with a huge range of lenses and was keen to try some more experimental techniques. Pre comms couldn't be faulted and during the shoot he was great to work with, and of course professional. What I saw on back of camera looked great! Would recommend, and hopefully the first of many shoots together!

Met John for the first time today as he shot here with Helen BBB for a few hours.

John was very polite and made sure that the model felt relaxed and had everything she needed, including a few coffee breaks.

I had one of my best home shoots with this brilliant photographer yesterday.

From the very first moment on I realised that John really tells a story with his images. We focused on portraits and nude shapes; I was truly fascinated HOW John approached it: for all the different sets he chose something special - for example working with a foggy lens or UV style.

Creating art with John was so much fun!

On top of his experimental, great photography he is a lovely personality to spend time with.

I cannot recommend working with this photographer highly enough.

Was a pleasure to have John using the studio today. He is very friendly and has an amazing knowledge of photography from his many years of shooting.

The model feedback was very positive at the end of the shoot and you could hear she was having a great time and loved the images back of camera.

Hope to see John again soon and potentially use his knowledge with a few workshops!

Yaaaaaay, its been so long since i last shot with John. Has to be a couple of years ago now. So I was so happy when we got this one arranged. John came to the place I was staying to shoot with me and we were working on UK open leg. I haven't shot to this level for very long but I felt comfortable around John. We were going for a relaxed look and we definitely achieved that. I love the images he has uploaded already. The shoot was fun and flew by which is a cliché but all fun shoots do fly by.

I have worked with John so many times I have lost count over very very many years now! John is a wonderful human being and a fantastic photographer! We always have such wonderful conversations whilst shooting, he is very good at letting me be creative and John also provides so many ideas and has a wonderful eye for quirky and eye catching images! What a wonderful first shoot at my home this morning with this true gentleman and gifted photographer.John arrived promptly with professional lights etc.

Babi absolutely loves his energy!

Had the pleasure of meeting John at a networking event last night and soon realised we lived close to each other so arranged a shoot for today at a studio John is familiar with.

Communication with John has been very easy and conversation flowed well. Once at the studio I was shown around and we soon got to work.

John was very polite and considerate and respected my boundaries.

I wouldn’t hesitate to work with him again, I felt very at ease in his company.

Highly recommended! (If only for the samosas 😉)

John answered my TFP studio casting for me and Nicola kiss to get some new pics.

Precoms were brilliant and he was brilliant when I had an issue and had to postpone for a couple weeks.

Was happy to shoot what we wanted and was ready to go all the time.

All the pictures given all the day which was requested.

Overall an absolutely brilliant shoot at bodyline and would like to do it again in a couple months.

Yes today I finally work with John after my tf casting for my burlesque promo costume shoot.

John is not only a genius with the camera & angles etc his portfolio speaks for itself!

He is also a lovely kind personality I felt very comfortable & at ease all of the time… With an added bonus of managing some art nude work after the costume shoot using up the valuable time we had to spare.

I love the results so far & would like to work with John again if we get the chance!

Definitely recommend to all models & creatives..

I recently had the pleasure of working with John, and let me tell you, it was a model's dream! From start to finish, the communication was as smooth as a well-oiled camera lens. John was not only incredibly professional but also wasn’t afraid to direct me, which was fantastic. His directions made me feel like a model and a yoga instructor all at once—I struck poses I didn't even know I could do at my age!

The shoot was a blast, and we had so much fun experimenting with different styles. John’s extensive knowledge of photography was impressive, and he knew exactly how to capture both the flattering angles and the character-filled wrinkles that come with years of wisdom and five kids. We even took some weird and wonderful pictures using real film and unique lenses, which highlighted every line and laugh of my life. The photos turned out amazing, and I couldn't be happier with the results. If you ever get a chance to work with John, grab it like it’s the last slice of pizza—worth every bit! I cant wait to work with him again.

I shot with John few times and when he suggested to do a duo shoot with Beth Kate at Aura Studio together with TugTog I was super excited !!

Pre communication was great, John helped with the logistic and all.

We had a fantastic day the 4 of us. Shooting different sets, solo and duo. John as always is super professional, respectful, kind and creative. We shot using digital and film. The images we produced on the day look brilliant!

Highly reccomended from me! I can't wait to see what we will be shooting next :)

Just had my millionth (maybe) shoot with lovely John and it was such fun! It was a duo shoot with Miss_C and I loved every minute of it. As always, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

John contacted me to ask if I would be interested in a duo shoot with the wonderful Joceline, of course I was thrilled!!! Given that both myself and Joceline are over 6ft tall, with similar physiques John's idea of a duo was just inspired!!!

I have now met John a few times at Basford, but it was a pleasure to work alongside him again. He has many wonderful ideas and today was no exception. He brought with him a massive modelling box which was great fun to pose in!! He also had loads of other ideas around some classical art nude sets, a quirky fabric look and a more androgenous feel with suits. Each time John worked incredibly hard to create many wonderful images!!

John also brought with him a massive chocolate cake for us all to enjoy, so needless to say - Of course I would reccomend John!!! A really lovely person and a wonderful photographer to work with!! Thank you John, see you soon!!

John responded to my casting seeking paid work.

Communications throughout were to the point, open and polite.

We decided easily on what we wanted to execute. As we have never worked together before.

The shoot was happening at my new spacious flat. He arrived on time bearing biscuits and a variety of lenses.

He showed me the differing effects each of lenses have as he changed them and we moved from one area of my flat to the next. Changing outfits with each.

It felt good to be in front of the camera adding some much needed creative diversity back into my life.

I feel I need more time to obviously fully develop as a model.

Ongoing conversation between the two us while shooting created a calm energy, which is a great start to achieve the aforementioned.

John was respectful of my home at all times.
