Absolute class!

Third shoot with John. This time in the Townhouse dungeons, and wow! Just wow! I am emotional looking back at the images today because it was just wonderful to have been there.

John Duder is an absolute pleasure to work with! A true creative soul and a genuine gentleman. We worked a variety of sets in each of the rooms. We worked hard with a few brews in between.

Just love the results and thank you from the bottom of my heart for a great day and gorgeous images. Highly recommend John Duder, he's fabulous fun and truly professional! Thanks so very much John, Kezzie🖤

Finally got the chance to work with John this week!! It was a lovely sunny day and we shot mainly outdoor and a last set indoor using high key light set up.

John was super welcoming, offered breaks with fruits/biscuits of all sort coffee and tea.

Professional and easy to work with. We shoot using different type of cameras and lenses to have different effect and feelings. I was mesmerized by the numbers of cameras and lenses.. some old camera some new one wow!!

We produced lots of beautiful images and can’t wait to see the final results.

John ran a workshop yesterday at Basford Hurst Cottage.

Being in the presence of seasoned photographers was a big help to me after not taking pictures for a while, and John was a great help to me.

His patient and relaxed approach coupled with his vast knowledge of both analogue and digital meant that I could learn and his one to one times I found invaluable.

Being at his workshop has now spurred me on to carry on with my journey.

John showed interest in booking me on my Birmingham tour, but somehow it slipped past us both and i get a message the day before with no set time planned! After brilliant pre communications we managed to squeeze john in for the latest slot on Tuesday at my Airbnb, he was very understanding and organised and it all worked out beautifully!

the kettle was on as soon as it could be and we had a good chat about photography and his many lenses, how we both prefer to work and he gave me an insight on what he wanted to get out of the shoot - which was mainly portraits with his lenses.

He was very respectful, a really nice guy and easy to talk to, which meant it was a productive and relaxed shoot once we both knew what we were aiming for and started shooting.

We started with basic portraits up against the window using natural light, and hed show me each time he changed lenses so i could see the effect it was giving. I was over the moon with how different the images all came out, it really sparked my creatvity. We also made use of the bedroom and the big window in there with some more bodyscape type shots, its such a wonderful experience when it feels like a collaboration, he knew what he was doing and all i had to do was pose to match the vibe we were aiming for.

its clear he has a passion for photographry, i learnt alot from the 2 hour shoot!

He was on time and packed up to leave by the time the shoot ended, it was just a great shoot and easy and creative like it should be.

John is friendly, well spoken and precise in his work. Seemed to know the kind of looks he was aiming to capture and how to set things up to get it just right.

I had the opportunity to work with John at the Charity Group shoot yesterday at the X Factory organised by Lotti Rose!

He is such a kind soul with the passion and drive to create incredible images! He was so knowledgeable about photography as a whole and I loved every second working with him, my only regret is that we didn't have too long to work together but hopefully we will have the chance to work together again soon!

Overall excellent communication, highly professional and the final images are fantastic! Highly recommend!

It's been a few years since my last reference for john so this is long overdue. I've been fortunate enough to have worked with John many many times over the past few years. We've done a number of Joint shoots together and I've attended lots of Johns workshops and tutorials (see johns JD Tuition port). John is a talented and knowledgeable photographer with a passion for all things photographic. His lighting skills and technical ability are remarkable and he's always happy to share that knowledge with the people he works with. A real gentleman in the true sense of the word, always professional respectful and considerate with the models he works with, easy to get along with and great company. Highly recommended to models and photographers of all levels.

Joined John at Bodyline Studios for my second workshop with the delightful Amber Belle. John has a clear programme of what he wants to cover and introduces his set ups using clear language which makes for understanding and retention.He also takes time in advance to produce notes with a range of tips for participants to take away. Nice touch as so often you are left to consolidate back home with images and your memory. Happy to recommend John and will join some of his other session when in my area.

A great second shoot with John. He arrived on time and perfectly organised (though not overburdened) for the things we had discussed shooting. He was very quick to adapt to the alien environment (my house) and to spot things that could be used to add value to the shoot. His ideas for shoots are elegant and well articulated, and his focus on acquiring a great capture is admirable. And he's a very interesting person to talk to! Just had a great 1st shoot with with John Pre shoot comms were really good, setting out a fluid plan of the types of images he wanted to capture. Such an amazingly talented, charming man/photographer who knows what he wants to capture. Conversation flowed seamlessly and did the coffee :) Really interesting varied banter which set me at ease immediately.

Cant wait to see the results of our collaboration and have tentatively spoken already of another shoot. Cant recommend John highly enough Super afternoon Thank you again :)

Another wonderful shoot with John, he had replied to my Valentines idea casting call! We stayed with some pin up shots with beautiful lighting! Then finished with some gory shots in the bathroom! Absolutely fantastic shoot. I've never experienced pregnancy this far in and to finally have come so far and be able to capture some brilliant shots.
