Hello.

I’m here seeking to exert creative energies with photographers who are genuinely operating from that mindset. No ‘Playground’ tactics. Purely creative people collaborating and experimenting.

Fitness and health (physical and mental) are both ongoing devotions for me. Now, as a middle aged woman, it is wanting to keep my body and mind as vital and alive as possible.


You won’t be shooting an empty vessel with no ideas of her own. I have much in my mind I’d like to see executed in front of the camera. I’m a warm witty, open minded, energetic and direct person. With a hefty dollop of awkwardness. I’m also content to ‘muck in’ if necessary. Carrying and establishing the equipment set up for a shoot. Or simply making the tea. I see shooting together as being social and super friendly

 

I regret having most of my tattoos. They do hold their place in certain styles of imagery. However, If you wish to edit those out, that is fine by me. I don’t like overzealous use of skin smoothers. Viewing a person looking like they’ve been moulded from plastic destroys any image in my mind. Anything fake or generic is a turn off. I cannot engage in one dimensional styles of imagery. If pointing your camera towards me and expecting me to perform in a mute, lifeless environment is your mindset - I am not for you.

 

• Levels

I’m very much drawn to the peculiar, earthy, natural, dark, perverse and of course - Sex.
That assured confidence which stems from maturity and lived experience. Logically, I have no issue with being naked. That being, I resonate with the photographer. I do not shoot crass tarty, boobs out for the sake of it. Or any imagery attempting to subjugate women. (Restrained or submissive poses) Open leg with my genitalia covered is fine. Fantasy is enticing!

I am not averse to shooting outdoors in winter. Please, do not  hesitate to ask if you have an idea you’d like to bring to life. I feel instinctively drawn to autumn and winter, rather than summer. Ten minutes of vigorous exercise to warm myself is easily achieved. I don’t mind a walk or hike to a favourite/secret spot either.

Initially, I’m willing to work for trade as my portfolio and references need advancing. Shooting from my home is an option. I live in Sutton Coldfield. A leafy suburban area of North East Birmingham. With lots of mature majestic trees. As well as wheat fields and open grassy areas. Which offers opportunity for outdoor shoots. The neighbourhood is very clean. There is also the potential to use car parks and the shopping area after dark. 

• Rates

A minimum of a two hour shoot. Travel expenses are in addition to my hourly fee. I drive. So, the cost of fuel at 0.45p per mile. Shoots within a two hour driving distance are a minimum half a day. 

Two hours ~ £50 (£100)

Four hours (half day) ~ £180 (£45ph)

Six hours ~ £270 (£45ph)

Eight hours (full day) ~ £320 (£40ph)

** Cancellations: I like to keep a relaxed and understanding mindset about collaborations needing to be cancelled. I understand life is a continuum of circumstances changing. Sometimes immediately and unprovoked. If a shoot needs to be cancelled within two weeks of the planned date - I expect 50% of the agreed amount to be paid. Cancellation within five days - the full fee.

If you wish to rebook within the month - 50% advance payment is required.

I’m here to earn an income doing something in life I actually enjoy. Mutual respect and decency is paramount. 

I am also willing to extend myself around the country. It seems several photographers I would like to work with are closer to Narnia than me. Hmm!! However, I fortunately live in Birmingham, which offers a certain head start no matter which direction I’m heading.
