I was born with a feeling for beauty inside, and as I grew up I learned it was something people were eager to exploit, with no regard for my humanity. Instead of shutting it down out of self-preservation, I was determined to build a life of security so that I could celebrate it safely. Modelling professionally is the arrangement through which I have achieved this. 
It is not so much about having conventional beauty, as it is about having nourished my spark, my human spirit - I have fought hard for it, distilled and cultivated it, bottled it into paid sessions, fastening it tenderly with a twine bow - and exchanging it for money is not a thoughtless act - for every time you book me, you nourish the spark. 

My unbridled feminine essence is the part of me that has been most hunted - and through this career, I have harnessed it for my own creative use. I can ensure it is never taken from me again, only given away deliberately. By choosing to book me for a respectful shoot, you make the world a safer place for women who wish to remain open-souled in a predatory world. 

I think about gender a lot, but as a spectrum, not a binary - and I think about beauty a lot, but as a spiritual concept, beyond the material. My modelling is inspired by marble sculptures and ancient paintings, where the naked human figure was viewed symbolically, studied and revered. I worship beauty like the Greeks, not the Kardashians, and I aim to achieve portraiture that is timeless, imaginative, and meaningful.

My own personal vision is vintage, whimsical, and includes colour palates of beiges and browns, rather than bold tones or monochrome. I like surfaces to be rough, raw, hems showing, rather than sleek, steely, or minimalistic. I strongly prefer natural light in almost all settings, be it sunny or cloud cover, and feel being backlit by a strong ray of sun, or side-lit on a grey day, soft light falling on the surfaces of my home, furniture and cupboards - cannot be beat. I believe good photographers are observant above all else, and possess a vital instinct to share their unique perceptions of ordinary settings. The way photographers commiserate about having to painstakingly pose their models - I feel the same way at having to teach them composition, for how could they not see how the leafy vine is dripping perfectly around my head, in the very obvious way that it is?

A most unimpressive photographer to me would be one who blows out a beautiful sunset with strobes, who stares at his model telling her he has no ideas of what he wants to shoot.  It is a paid booking, so she can make suggestions, but she cannot have the final say, she cannot convince him to simply look sunward or to press the shutter when the day's last breeze flutters her hair. She will never look the same again as she did that day and if that alone cannot inspire him as a photographer, nothing can.

Part of preserving my spark means preserving my authenticity - I am a fully unmasked autistic adult. This means I may sometimes require accommodations that are autism related and not me trying to be difficult nor entitled. For example I may need patience responding to messages, and cannot shoot outdoors unless the conditions are very fair - I cannot work tired, cold, or hungry - I must work within my limits, and am usually not flexible. I require clear communication, and can easily detect attempts to subordinate me. This all being said, I believe in reciprocity - I will accommodate your disability related needs if you bring them to my attention. While I do try to read social cues, I usually fail and rely on people being honest with their words, and taking me at mine. I am naturally patient and forgiving, and if you make an effort, I will be satisfied. 

Being a lasting collaborator may take some practice, due to my social differences, but it has proven more productive for me to uphold these standards rather than to be lenient on them. I also need some positive encouragement at shoots, and I give it freely - I struggle with wholly nonchalant or inexpressive photographers. That is fine if you are shooting war tanks or goldfish but as your human subject, we must try to connect.

I run a very tight ship when my accommodations are met and I provide a reliably superb creative service. I take my business very seriously behind the guise of being unserious. I am not rushing to prove myself to the wrong crowd, I am blasting my beacon of light to find the right one.  I am unapologetic about the things I cannot control and I am steadfast, courageous, and devoted to the things I can. I may seem difficult, but I am a warm lap dog with my tongue hanging out of my mouth 90% of the time. 

Remember, the fortress I have built is to protect what's inside - the goal is, once inside, to feel safe enough to let loose - not for anyone to stay on edge. There's no beauty and certainly no art in that. 

I primarily shoot from home - a historic Cumbrian farmhouse from the 1770's, with 7 bright rooms, 3 fireplaces, a library and a clawfoot tub. Rates to book me from here are £60/hr Art Nude, Fashion £0/hr (TFP) or £80/hr Erotica  - which includes tasteful open leg shots but no adult acts. I live alone so we will have the entire residence to ourselves. We can work inside or in the garden. The closest train station is Penrith. 

My calendar is up to date, so please just take any open day :) any “open” day is a day I intend to fill with a photoshoot. 

I usually shoot in the afternoons and evenings, and I serve food.

I am not excessively chatty at shoots, I like a focused and professional shooting environment, but I do like to start with a sit down introduction. I may be a bit spastic when you arrive because I am quite isolated and uncivilised outside of this - but I will do my best to make you comfortable, and if that fails, will always calm the moment the camera starts rolling. The shooting part is slightly easier to me than socialising. 

After an introduction and showing you around, I like to start with a warm-up, fully nude. 2-5 minutes of free form posing without taking direction, for me to sync up to you and your natural shooting style and pace. Then, you are free to creatively direct me from that point onward.

I greatly admire everyone in this industry, as you have funneled a sum of money, time and energy into a largely thankless and misunderstood craft. While I do think it is beautifully modest that most photographers don't make an income from this, I would like to help empower some of you to get paid, or exhibited in a way that makes sense to your life. At the very least, I hope to make you feel like what you have hired me to do is not of insignificance in the world. It matters. 

The endorphins we both feel for hours after the shoot are real, and true, and are telling us something very important - we shall listen.
