Today's shoot with John was a relaxed day learning about lighting and, as always, taking some amazing images.

There are many reasons I love working with John... One of which is that I always leave feeling much more confident and capable than before - he is such a patient teacher and explains things in such a way that even I, a complete technophobe, feel like I am one step closer to mastering the mysterious world of studio lighting.

Looking forward to next time - sooner rather than later :)

So it's been a while since I worked with John, the last time being before Covid and a duo!... it was lovely to work with John again!...

He booked an hour during my themed event at The Boardroom studio and it was a great chance to catch up and take some beautiful images!...

John was completely happy to just go with the flow and also just experiment with his own equipment and ideas within the space!...

The hour absolutely flew by, but was filled with chatter and lovely images!...

I always like working with John he has a very creative eye along with a relaxed demeanour which equates to a fabulous shooting experience!...

As always I highly recommend John to all models new or experienced!...

I had my first shoot with John as part of his models over 40 project and it was absolutely fantastic, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

John is an excellent photographer and lovely with it. He made me feel at ease, creative and inspired throughout and I felt confident to express my true self and let my personality shine through in the poses. From the start we worked amazingly well together with brilliant communication. John gave direction where needed whilst also capturing the natural flow of the poses and movement. He is a true professional and a gent. I’m delighted with the images.

I had a great shoot with the lovely john today.

His communication prior was great especially when I had to move the date and he kept in touch in the lead up to the shoot.

John arrived bang on time with 5 ..yes 5 cameras!

He was more than happy to run with my suggestion of mixing home boudoir with wild nudes on a remote location I know of and he even dove us around.

A real can do attitude John was great to work with, kind polite and looked out for me , he even bought a drone and we got some superb results.

I can't wait to see our images, hopefully we can shoot again soon :)

Absolutely blown away…….. John is a real breath of fresh air, I loved our shoot today.

My first shoot with John & definitely won’t be the last, in love with the images we created.

There were some really powerful ones in the time we spent together. I can not wait to see them.

Yet another faultless shoot with John and as always I'm left feeling a little wiser than before. Everyone who I have come across who has also had the pleasure of meeting John has had nothing but the warmest words to say about him - I feel honoured to be one of those people.

There's a lot I wouldn't know right now if it weren't for John, about modelling, photography,and other things too I'm sure.

If you haven't worked with John yet, you are truly missing out!

I worked with John the other day and we had a brilliant shoot. We went with a rough idea of "student vibe" and go with the flow.

We got some brilliant photos and I am looking forward to working with John again. Very polite, punctual and creative.

Hopefully the next shoot will be a fun and creative studio shoot.

Invited by John to take part in a collaborative shoot with the lovely Freya at Fusion Studio in Abbey Village near Chorley. We had a productive four hour shoot and I am particularly indebted to John's knowledge of lighting and studios in setting up some of the equipment for my images. Interesting to work alongside someone with such a detailed knowledge of camera and equipment. His easy, friendly, professional relationship with the model Freya, made the shoot a particularly pleasant experience worth repeating.

John picked me up from my home and took me to one of my lovely local studios. John did a joint shoot with Owdman there. Both worked really well together and were happy to listen to each others ideas. John came up with some really cool lighting to go with an idea I had.

John is always a joy to model for and really easy to get along with. the 4 hours just flew by. John came amazingly prepared as ever with every single lens known to mankind (hehe)

No doubt we will be working together again very soon.

Me and John had a shoot together at Two Wei studio just recently and it was brilliant.

John bought his drone along with him and we ended up getting some really cool shots with it, definitely a first for me.

He also has a great range of props.

Professional? tick. Creative? tick. Trustworthy, brilliant guy? tick tick.

John's first visit to Two Wei and we think he was quite surprised (but we hope not disappointed) to find a warm vicarage - certainly not as "fresh" as the ones he'd grown up in ;) ;)

John's clearly an enthusiastic photographer and likes to experiment with an array of equipment to obtain a varied and creative set of images. His kit spanned more decades than I've spent on the planet 8D

We can recommend John to studios and models alike without hesitation and look forward to welcoming him back in the future.

What can I say? John is absolutely one of my favourite photographers out there (and I know you shouldn't really have favourites but in this instance I do!!). This was only our second shoot (the first being just before the pandemic hit hence the length wait for shoot number 2!), but John is one of those people who you instantly warm too, instantly feel comfortable with and is just a complete pleasure to shoot with and chat too. 4 hours absolutely flew by in a mix of shooting great images, enjoying a cuppa and munching our away the wonderful supply of biscuits John came armed with!! Thank you John for another truly wonderful shoot and I hope we can add a third shoot before too long. Very highly recommended of course.

After a couple of fantastic remote shoots I knew that it was going to be a fun and productive shoot.

John came to my home and was on time and fully prepared; he was just as much the gentleman in person as he had been via remotes.

Its always a good laugh and a shoot with John is always enjoyable.
