Jonathan came to our studio day with Sharon Jade here at Splash Point. Despite being in South Africa at the time, his pre comms were good and upon arrival he was super pleasant and great to chat too. With plenty of experience, I could leave him to get on wit it and do his thang.

And the agenda for our latest shoot: locations up in sunny Yorkshire!!! :D Following two very lovely shooting experiences prior to this with Jonathan: it goes without saying that I was over the moon to receive a message from him expressing an interest in getting out and about in my neck of the woods and playing with some new found locations I’d stumbled upon during recce’s this side of lockdown. Jonathan got some sensational images of me in Scotland the year previous during an event, so I already knew how good an eye he had for the framing of the scene and managing the light. T’was something in the diary to most definitely feel excited and positive about: not too long after an obviously very testing time for us all!

Jonathan’s comms were on-point as usual: he’s uber quick to respond and we had the shoot and where we planned to go sorted in no time at all! He’s brilliantly organised for his shoots, which goes to add to all the evidence behind his sheer love for photography. :) He came kitted out with some epic props and outfits that he’d acquired himself, which worked a treat at the sites! His creative brain gets totally in the zone and brings awesome ideas to the forefront which guarantees a highly inspired session every time. We sure covered some wonderfully varied ground: from edgy/quirkinesses in a post-apocalyptic like environment... To our own cute take on Mary Poppins hehe! Lush (and classic) art nudes in nature style shots... And even zany fashion at a zany location to sign it off! Highly productive for sure - but that’s what happens when you work with a brilliant photographer who throws themselves right into the zone. :D

It was a funny Ole’ day weather/light wise! We were fortunate really because it only really threatened us with a bit of rain towards the end. The light literally didn’t know what it was doing though... in/out - shake it all about! Jonathan really bossed it dealing with all these changeable conditions and pulling sublime pictures out of each and every set amid the challenges of location. So he not only made that look easy, but he reacted so quick to the opportunities that each site held, and then my posing too to frame a moment of epic-ness click after click. This crazy model was just out to see all the different places she could put herself/get on top of or squeeze into! 😂 Kudo’s to Jonathan for the utterly fab team creative rapport that he is down for in every shoot. He sure knows how to do his thing and make a pretty picture, but the fact that he’s very welcoming of the model to be part of a collaborative process of working together is really nice in the flow that can be achieved.

He bears the most kind and gentle nature, delivering buckets of respect and lovely manners to the people he shoots with. I just cannot recommend him highly enough for how comfortable I feel working with Jonathan across all sittings. We also got a healthy amount of chinwagging into the session, in addition to loadsa laughs which made for a highly harmonious and upbeat day out. :)

Working with this gentleman again would ALWAYS be a pleasure... Thank you so much for another cracking sesh!

Jonathon is a sweet, kind gentleman, with a lovely family & gorgeous home. I am very happy he invited me to shoot in his home, and thanks to his lovely daughter for lending me a fabulous bag to finish a cool fashion look.

We had a great time, it is very clear Jonathon has a vast knowledge of photography, he knows what he wants to create and how to go about doing so

I had a great shoot with Jonathan at his home studio which is fully equipped with the best equipment and the rest of his home, which we used to shoot in, is stunning and perfect for high end lifestyle shoots! Jonathan is a true professional and made me very comfortable throughout the shoot and this meant we took some amazing images and Jonathan’s photography skills are excellent and he can direct a model well from his extensive experience. I would love to work with Jonathan again and would highly reccomend to models!

It was our first time working together, so I am always a little nervous, but from first introductions Jonathan was so lovely; very professional, kind and personable to talk to. Jonathan joined me for a quick lunch and we then had a fun few hours together exploring the stunning home.

I absolutely loved working with Jonathan, the images looks beautiful on the day and I really look forward to seeing the uploads!

Jonathon attended my model day at pathways studio in chester .

Jonathans pre communications were great so the slot was booked quickly and efficiently . Jonathon is friendly and easy going making for great company and someone who is easy to get along with .

We wizzed through a few sets and he was happy to listen to any input or ideas I had . The shoot went by super fast . Jonathon was happy with what he got and called it a day , rather than just shooting for the sake of it .

Jonathan is AMAZING! We were due to shoot in north Wales at his incredible place, and the trains were utterly deplorable, the heavens decided to open after a cancelled train, and Jon saved the day by coming and picking me up - thank you so much man, that was so appreciated :)

We shot some exquisite imagery - starting with some studio portraits with the extensive background collection Jon has, moving on to natural light nudes on the floor, natural light portraits on the sofa with sky light, the ring light with the beautiful wooden detail behind, lingerie on the impressive bed, some dreamy bath and shower portraits - seriously, we got so much done, and every set was bloody brilliant!

Jon is incredibly good company, chatty, funny, full of great stories, creative and an immense eye for beautiful imagery. Would highly recommend him, to all models. A top fellow.

Jonathan has a warm and friendly manner, great conversationist and a well travelled man, which makes time just fly by!

A very talented photographer indeed. That natural light we had was gorgeous and Jonathan knew just exactly how to use it to his advantage. I loved the angles, the ideas and the edits. Truly, time well spent.

I worked with Jonathan last week during my tour. We worked together for half a day at Hallam Mill on Sunday morning :)

We got great light for our shoot, worked our way through loads of different ideas/ genres and the images looked lovely!!

We had good old natter in-between the shooting which was also lovely. I really hope I can work with Jonathan again this year (maybe in slightly warmer climates) ;) ;)

I had the pleasure of working with Jonathan yesterday in Liverpool, given I did turn up with a cold he didn’t mind to much about that and was a total gentleman! We shot breifly outside and my gosh he knows how to take a photo! He was super friendly and chatty, I felt at ease working with him! Super funny and has some great views on life itself!
