I've had another fantastic shoot with Jonathan at his beautiful house. We tried to arrange a shoot a couple of times since our last one but unfortunately, it was one of the occasions where something wasn't going the way we wanted to.

Really happy we've managed to get together and shoot, we always create amazing images, Jonathan is so talented it's impossible not to create incredible images. Jonathan's house is so beautiful you could be shooting there all day and still not run out of ideas, we've covered a good majority of it but there are still ideas that we didn't get to shoot and will be hoping to do another time. If you have a chance to shoot with Jonathan don't miss out on it, he is an amazing photographer and surely will create stunning images that will be very valuable to your portfolio!

I once again had the pleasure of working with Jonathan, this time during my Manchester Tour. His pre shoot communications were excellent and he responded to any or my questions quickly and effectively - which is always well received my end!

He arrived on time at my apartment, and was raring to go. After a quick cuppa we had a tour around the property and set to work making our plan of action. Jonathan has a very relaxed aura, which makes shooting with him so smooth and easy and we captured some fabulous images from the first set.

Jonathan was polite and professional, nothing was too much trouble, including the gazillion times I paused for a water break!

The back of camera shots looked amazing and I look forward to seeing his edits. Thankyou for a fantastic shoot!

Well I’m not exactly sure where to start!!! I literally could go on and on about how amazing Jonathan is but here is the shorter version ….

Firstly I feel absolutely honoured to have been chosen for this casting especially as it was on Jonathan’s Birthday.

This was my first “purple port” shoot in absolutely years and I can definitely say it didn’t disappoint!!

Jonathan is super easy going and scheduled this shoot in my local area (an area not very well known to himself for shooting) , he followed my location suggestions and was just so professional and kind.

Jonathan worked really well with my speed of posing and my outfit changes and we changed the background location accordingly.

Working with such a genuine, down to earth photographer makes modelling so much fun. Chatting with Jonathan was so nice and we had a great balance of chatting and working!

I would truly recommend Jonathan to any model looking for castings. He’s great at giving direction if needed however he also allows the model to go with the flow.

I hope that our paths cross again in the future as all I can say is I want to shoot again!

I really loved finally working 1-1 with Jonathan after previously shooting together during a workshop.

Jonathan is an incredibly skilled photographer and an all-round lovely person to spend time with. I always felt comfortable in his presence.

We tried out a few new props & equipment that he had come by, so there was a bit of experimentation, trial and error, and some slow figuring out, but I never once felt bored in his company, and he was delightful to chat to!

To top off the shoot, my return train had been cancelled, so Jonathan graciously drove me back home so I wasn't stranded for two hours, which I am so so hugely grateful for. What a true gentleman!

I'd completely recommend working with Jonathan, and I can't wait to work with him again, hopefully after not too long.

Met Jonathan at a club night shoot at Pathway Studios. He is a lovely lovely guy with a laid back approach. He made me feel at ease throughout the night and was lovely with his approach in asking me for poses. He also let me do my own thing which is very much appreciated! He often showed me the camera to see what we had achieved which looked amazing and I cant wait to see some edits. Thanks for working with me and I hope it wont be the last time!

It's a real blast working with Jonathan! I did so again at his home studio which was really nice as he has literally tonnes of cool spaces around his place which just give so much for setting the scene for pictures... We also had lots of neat props and gadgets to incorporate with this shoot too - mix that with when the creative teamwork and ideas start to roll in - there is no stopping! 🤩

The shoot was set-building central! First Jonathan showed me a literal room FULL of flowers that he had acquired; that was the first thing that set me off! 🤣 Materials, headdresses, and flowers EVERYWHERE... The space that is usually Jonathan's designated studio became a plinth of floral goodness. 🌷 It's astonishing what you can do with some decorative accessories, a stunning dress (also part of a lush collection this gent had come into possession of!) lighting it well and a bit of space. 😀 So that was how things begun... After that the inspo just raced on! We went onto smash lingerie/lifestyle, edgy fashion portraits, crystal wear and then played with projector patterns! Looking back I haven't a clue how we fit it all in one half day session! But the rapport was just so productive, and Jonathan is such an enthusiastic and technically savvy dude to work with. We were just nailing things in the bag so quickly and then instantly getting excited about the next look basically. 😊

Jonathan has a heart of gold - he has a very professional demeanour and approach in his work. He also has A LOT of experience working with models in all kinds of settings/locations so he's ready to dive into all kinds of genres which suits each specific model, and ALWAYS respects a models levels. Each time we've shot I have felt super comfortable and we've hit off a great working relationship - clicking into a flow very effortlessly which has lasted to the last shot taken on each shoot. 👌 Jonathan is chatty, down-to-earth and really fun-spirited with ample positivity in his approach. His family home is also a great atmosphere where I have been met with wonderful hospitality multiple times now from him and his family. Having a good environment to work in makes such a difference to a photo shoot... And I can wholeheartedly confirm that Jonathan has this off to a tee. 😊 If you are due to be working with him - you WILL have a fab time!

Of course it's another "highly recommended" reference from me - I can 1000% vouch for this gentleman. In addition - I most certainly look forward to getting the chance to work together again. ⭐

I got to model for Jonathan on 2 of my Summers Abroad events this year, first on my ‘Shadow of a Doubt’ event and then second my ‘Face Your Fears’ event. That I wasn’t actually scheduled to model on but I got jealous and wanted to pose with a snake haha - so Jonathan kindly obliged and snapped some photos of me - and I’m SO glad he did because they are bloody awesome!!

I always enjoy working with Jonathan, he is super laid back and friendly, easy to talk to and very respectful too. I can 100% recommend him and hope to get lots more opportunities in the future :)

Summers Abroad

The third event Jonathan joined us on this year, our ‘Face Your Fears’ event turning phobias into photos. And I have to say just WOW! I remember seeing a few shots of Jonathan’s on his laptop during the event and between those and the final edits I’ve seen so far he got some absolutely killer images!!!

As always him and his wife Deborah fitted into the group so well and the social time in the evenings was so lovely!! They even went on our VR that we had brought along and we all had a great laugh together! They are both such kind people, honestly 2 of our favourites and we love hosting them!

Hope to see them both again on future events :D

Jonathan is by far one of the easiest photographers to get along with! We met each other the evening before a recent Summers Abroad Manor Event so our first meeting was in a non work related way, and I must say its always very interesting to meet other creatives outside of the working capacity! Jonathan and I got along straight away, laughing and joking with each other from the offset which then made the following day of the event an incredibly smooth process - we already felt like we knew each other so the shoot flowed excellently.

His creative eye is phenomenal and I was so happy with the back of camera images that I saw, his photography is truly beautiful. His ideas never stopped flowing as we moved throughout the stunning venue for the day, stopping to discuss outfits and pose ideas in the various parts of the Manor.

I enjoyed working with Jonathan and definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to other creatives, he was a true gem to work with! He was polite and professional throughout the shoot and made me feel at ease from the offset.

Summers Abroad

Jonathan and his lovely wife Barbara attended our Shadow of a Doubt event that we hosted alongside Cariad Celis.

It was film noir and murder mystery event covering the 1920’s and 1940’s. Jonathan worked really well alongside everybody and got involved with the fun clues and immersive elements of the weekend too :) Not only that but as always he took some stunning images throughout the weekend!!

As before it was a total pleasure hosting Jonathan and Deborah, and they even joined in and got dressed up for our 1920’s soirée to end the weekend :)

Highly recommended!

We shot a fun variety of looks, Jonathan really knows his stuff with lighting, is friendly and easy to chat to.

And despite the fact we had just met at the start of the shoot, by the end of the 2 hours - it felt like I was saying goodbye to a friend :)

Had the absolute pleasure of working with Jonathan yesterday, at his home studio.

Having arranged the shoot prior to meeting him on a group shoot, he used the opportunity to show me his work, and make some arrangements, and made sure he was no longer a stranger.

His home is incredibly welcoming, and Jonathan creates a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Whats more, we had fun!

A very talented photographer who knows what he is doing with set ups and lighting in an incredibly artistic and masterful way.

Some of the shoot was planned, some we winged it, and throughout, the setups were quick, even when experiment he finds some lovely and creative results.

He explains what he wants from each set, and has a great mix of giving an idea and some direction, as well as letting the model pose.

I would highly recommend this photographer and cannot help but keep saying his profile deserves far more love on here!

Please dont hesitate to work with this man, should the chance arise!
