Nearly three years has passed since our last time working together… three years! Omg we more than made up for lost time today though clocking up around 15 sets shot! Lots of fashion, casual looks, lingerie and nude. A very good mixed bag today and each set awesome 🤩 I love working with Jonathan and today I was super lucky to get to work in his home studio and wow what a space, and wow what a wardrobe of clothes he has!

He’s not short of style that’s for sure, there’s something for everyone in his wardrobe! Aw always I’m impressed by his images and the lighting is always super! A lovely gentleman and I can’t wait til the next time… I’m sure it won’t be three years this time haha!

Working with Jonathan was an absolute delight. The pre-com was great and his home studio was one the kind! So so impressed by the amonut of props and outfits you can create with. Jonathan is really easy going and made me feel safe and secure. The 4h hours flew by! Loved every second and can't wait for our next shoot!

I had a wonderful Sunday shoot with Jonathan, our second shoot together.

Jonathan kindly drove to my house to pick me up as my car is undergoing maintenance and dropped me home again afterwards which was very kind of him as I was going to catch the train.

We shot at Jonathan's gorgeous house, stunning with lots of rooms space and light. Jonathan has 2 rooms dedicated to studio space and he also utlises the rest of the house and lovely decor to shoot against so you are never short of options.

Jonathan is chatty and a really nice person with a lovely nature, he is easy going and great to work with allowing you to view the back of camera at any time.

Jonathan had great ideas, he had ordered new fashion pieces to shoot in as well as using what I had bought with me and some of his amazing accessories including full size angel wings 😀

We worked through lots of sets from studio fashion to natural light nudes and ended up with a really cool shower set.

The time flew by and the shoot was very enjoyable and satisfying. I can't wait to see which pictures he chooses as we had so many.

We have discussed a location shoot in the near future sharing locations we both know and I can't wait to work with Jonathan again.

Shot with the wonderful Jonathan last weekend. Jonathan was full of ideas and creative concepts. He had lots of things to shoot in, and has built a wonderful home studio. Jonathan is friendly yet professional and maintained a professional demeanour throughout. A pleasure to work with the time just flew by. Can’t wait to see the images and I look forward to arranging a second shoot in the not so distant future.

Had a wonderful 1st shoot with Jonathan at his beautiful home filled with so many amazing outfits and props to use. Jonathan was an absolute gent throughout and very professional from start to finish.

The time flew by so quickly but we managed to capture plenty of different shots in various backdrops. Jonathan has a very creative mind which showed through with what I saw on the back of the camera and throughout his home.

I would absolutely highly recommend working with Jonathan if you ever get the chance to and thank you Jonathan for a wonderful shoot and hope to work together again soon ❤️

We shot a huge selection of looks each completely different from the last, Johnathan left the styling to me and allowed me to go full swing into a range of diverse looks and even gave way for some looks in his huge wardrobe selection!

Summers Abroad

Another fabulous weekend hosting Jonathan, this time on our most recent event Mutiny.

As always Jonathan got on with all the models and the photographer we had paired him with the weekend. He also brought along his usual bundle of fabulous clothing for the unthemed event and was kind enough to let others use them too.

We always look forward to hosting Jonathan as he is such a genuine, kind soul and great company. He’s become a very good friend and part of our little creative family, that an event would honestly not be the same without him!

Highly, highly recommended by us and can’t wait to catch up in September on our next one :)

So, we managed to try many different looks and outfits.

He is an experienced photographer and the images were great on the screen of his camera.

Artemisian Luxury Photographic Holidays

We are just back from the latest Artemisian event- this time we all headed to Sicily (finally) after an almost four year postponement due to covid!!

The event was, yet again, incredible- and that's also thanks to everyone involved in the event- all the models, photographers and assistants made it so.

Stunning villa, street fashion, abandoned buildings, beach shoots, driftwood bays, themed shoots and a nod to the Godfather- we covered a lot, once again!

We had many challenges to face- the weather being the main one- oh and you know, the volcano erupting too. It was a totally freakish four weeks weather wise, sun, rain, wind and storms... but you know what- we all made it work, had a bloody fantastic time and created yet more life long memories despite all that- oh and thousands more breathtaking images too of course!! ;)

I say this each time but I am sure every trip becomes my favourite- just getting more and more nervous each time on how to keep improving- especially now I am running Artemisian alone- but I will always do by best :)

Anyway...

Finally, after all this time Jonathan and his wife Deborah were able to join and become part of the Artemisian team for the week long event we hosted in May!

Jonathan got on very well with the whole team during the event and all the models too- he took so many superb images, showing the models the back of cameras, trying experimental angles and lenses and also shared the shots on his laptop so the models could go through them and star their faves!

Within a matter of days he was posting some sneak peeks from the event and I am loving what I have seen so far!! Can't wait to see more and use some of the shared images on our social media pages!

I enjoyed having Jonathan there- he was super chilled throughout the event and both him and Deborah would be welcome back any time!! Just wish you guys had seen better weather but I know that's out of our control.

Thank you for sticking with us over the years and for being a part of such a superb event! :)

Artemis Fauna

Just a brief reference for everyone who photographed me on the latest Artemisian event to Sicily!

I don't want to repeat what I will write from the Artemisian account but from a model's point of view I had a fabulous time and am so pleased with the images I have seen from the event so far- I can't wait to see more!!

Jonathan and I have shot a few times over the years- 1-2-1 shoot, one of my summer 70's events last year and FINALLY after a delay of almost four years (thanks Covid!) he joined Artemisian out in Sicily this May with his lovely wife Deborah!

Jonathan took so many awesome images and he also gets brownie points because he edits and shares the images too!! From what I have seen so far the images look awesome and I am very excited to see even more from our shoots during this week.

Lovely guy, super to shoot with, fun and shares the images! What more could you want. Here's to another Artemisian adventure in the future hopefully and more shoots in-between :)

Summers Abroad

Another super weekend hosting Jonathan! We’ve gotten to know him very well over the numerous events he has attended since 2020, and it never feels the same without him there now haha :)

As this event was unthemed Jonathan turned up with a fabulous collection of styling that he was kind enough to let other photographers use too. As always he got on well with the photographers he was paired up with on the 2 days and was great company in the evenings too.

Jonathan is just such a genuine, down to earth, caring and friendly soul! We feel incredibly blessed to host him so often and make such wonderful memories together!

Jonathan booked me whilst I was touring Stafford recently and I was overjoyed to finally get the chance to work with him!

What a fantastic shoot! I was warmly welcomed into his home / home studio by both Jonathan and his lovely wife, Deborah. It was a beautiful, large, warm, and photogenic location; a veritable creative playground with endless clothing, huge gowns, props, crafts.. wow.

I was offered a spacious room to spread out my own styling items and to change in privacy, and we worked through a number of sets, collaborating together on styling and matching colours & imagery for each set.

We shot a lot of fashion, which I just love - chic, classy, quirky, modern, cheeky, candid almost.. it was all super fun, and every set was a hit!

Loved chatting throughout the day - Jonathan is interesting and intelligent, and we're both pretty obsessed with great music - that's always a win with me!

The photos are beyond stunning!!!

I can't wait to come back, and I'd be really honoured if we were able to work together again.

I had such a fabulous shoot with Jonathan on my most recent Chester tour!

Although I see Jonathan quite regularly on my UK events I hadn't actually shot with him for a while so it was so wonderful to work together again :D

Jonathan and his lovely wife Deborah accommodated myself and my husband Mark (and our little pooch Caesar) and it was so nice catching up with them!

The shoot itself was just as creative and fun as expected. Jonathan has the most amazzzzzing selection of wardrobe and prop at his studio, it's literally like being a kid in a candy store haha! We totally winged it (no pun intended as we did do a set with his fabulous angel wings haha!) and came up with a plan after looking at the new prop and dresses he had. From angel wings to giant flowers, mermaid tails and stunning corsets, we shot so much variety and I thoroughly enjoyed the shoot from start to finish! Not only was it packed with creativity but me and Jonathan always have a good natter and laugh on our shoots.

Highly, highly recommended and already looking forward to next time!

Summers Abroad

Jonathan has joined us on 2 more UK events since I last left him a reference. He is such a welcome face at our events and they don’t really feel the same without him anymore haha!

He tends to join us for the full weekend, which is really lovely as we get to socialise together in the evenings and he always fits in well with the other participants :)

At both Lost World and Casino Royale he got on well with the photographers and models attending and from what I have seen so far he got some absolutely beautiful images! On our Lost World event he also brought along some stunning items of clothing for the unthemed day!

Always a pleasure and we simply love hosting him on our events! Already looking forward to the next one and hopefully we’ll get to host him abroad in the future too :)

It was a very laid back and experimental shoot, each passing over ideas of what we could create with all his amazing outfits and props and mine combined. I ABSOLUTELY ADORE SHOOTING WITH YOU. You take the most striking images and make it seem so easy. Or maybe it is when you know what you're doing.

Honestly I kind of feel bad that we did A LOT of talking, but that's just because you're a joy to hold a conversation with.

Pre comms were absolutely excellent. We both knew exactly the plan and the arrangements where clear. This is something I respond very well to.

Tryst

It doesn't get better than shooting with Jonathan. He met me at the train station arrivals and upon making eye contact I hoped he was the photographer I was waiting to meet! He has a very warm presence and energy and is such a beautiful creative spirit.

Upon arriving at his house I was greeted by his cheerful wife and shown around. The shooting options are endless in his enormous abode but he has a permanenet setup in one of the rooms - with enchanted custom backdrops, unique props and a rack of ballgowns.

I asked John to describe his signature vision and he said "Elegant." it struck me as the perfect word to encompass what he does. We shot a few hours of classic Fine Art nude portraits, and I must say it is magical to align with an artist who appreciates those timeless, classic themes, like myself. He does not shoot glamour or anything tacky, he reveres the subject and beauty in general. I felt like I was floating on a cloud while we shot.

He was incredibly patient and flexible for the time of day we started at - but unfortunately my choice to start in the afternoon crushed our plans of a long shoot. We were both exhausted come early evening, given the winter hours, and decided we would continue our shoot on my next tour out. I want to shoot with him early in the day with inifinite energy - he shoots very smoothly and peacefully, and an early start with him is best.

I can't wait to complete our booking together and I love all the results from our short first shoot.
