Demi Hughes

Hello, thank you for looking at my portfolio and notes; my name is Demi, and I am a professional model with professional dance and acting experience. I have nearly seven years experience in the industry, having started modelling after being scouted in 2017 and finally taking the opportunity, and I have found this to be my passion!

 

Following my undergraduate degree I had completed before I began modelling, I did a Masters degree from 2018 to 2021 and also had an exclusive dance contract during this time until 2023, alongside caring for family nearly full time in this period, so during this time my modelling was forced to pause and I was only able to fulfil very few modelling jobs and bookings. In May 2024, I returned to modelling full time and I have been very lucky to work with some of the best creatives in the industry, and I’m really excited to see what else I’ll be fortunate enough to create whilst working on creative ideas and visions! I am also classically trained in acting and dancing with a background in drama, dance and theatre training.

 

 

As I am a full time model I work for pay, but I am happy to work on collaboration shoots with the right creatives and for the right projects and ideas, and I am always happy to test with photographers, studios, stylists and other creatives for future work.
My fees are negotiable depending on the assignment or shoot, however for shorter bookings, I do have a minimum booking of two hours at £100. Longer shoots or specific assignments are negotiable.

 

 

I spent several years as a professional belly dancer, with years of classical training prior to my development into a professional dancer. My dance training instilled a strong sense of body awareness and correct posture alignment, and I am therefore very skilled with posing, with the ability to create beautiful shapes with elegance and gracefulness or hold ‘difficult’ poses for a substantial amount of time whilst for example, lighting and equipment may need to be rearranged. 

 

I have an enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude to work and will always commit to getting a perfect shot and achieving what the photographer or designer or creative wants, and I am very friendly and easy to work with and I am always the utmost professional! For me, the images from a shoot last forever, whilst any uncomfortable posing, (such as shooting in bridal or swimwear in subzero temperatures), lasts only a short space of time, and the desire to create something beautiful and artistic will always take prevalence over any shooting conditions!
