Another shoot with Huw (or Uw, as us notthinghamers say) this time at Two Wei house, and despite being 7 seconds late (which I was disgusted by) it was an alright shoot...

Only kidding.

Every minute working with Huw is a laugh. He is amazing to work with and full of creative ideas and suitcases of clothes to match. 4 hours wasn't nearly enough time to capture everything we wanted, so I cant wait for my next shoot with him.

If you haven't worked with Huw before, I would recommend you snap (hehe) him up quickly, he is a pleasure to work with, you'll never be bored, and be working with an amazing creative photographer.

I had the chance to meet Hew for an outdoor shooting on locations around mine and I'm so thankful I get to meet amazing people of that kind through my job.

Huw has an eye and a great sensibility to shapes, colors and expressions, which made made it easy for me to show him around and let him improvise and take amazing shots on demand! He was just allowing me to do my thing and really captured my nature.

That was a first great surprise, but the best part was getting to know Huw over the day. He's an interesting, kind, respectful, funny (and I have high criteria when it's about funny) wonderful guy. The day went by so quickly and didn't feel like work for a minute. Huw showed so much respect for my job and called me an artist. It really moved me to see him including so much of my essence in the project. I just received the last batch and I'm so happy with the result. Can't wait to post, can't wait to work with Huw again!

Had a great shoot with Huw at my home recently!

Pre comms were great, the shoot flowed and was really relaxed and hes a fabulous person to work with and chat to!

Time flew by with Huw and I couldn't recommend him enough,

I absolutely love working with Huw! He is so fun to work with, making me collapse in laughter all day :D

He kindly offered to pick me up from mine! We had a delightful breakfast out with a sea view to kickstart the day (coffee was clearly needed between us struggling to formulate sentences.)

We had a relaxed but productive shoot between shooting at the beach and throughout town!

Even though it was blasting with heat we managed to keep ourselves (somewhat) sane throughout the day.

Not only is Huw a fabulous photographer but an incredibly interesting person to spend the day with with topics ranging from political systems to knackered goats.

Highly recommended, he is one of a kind!

I knew from our pre-comms Huw and I would get along just great, and we did indeed have a fabulous first meet and full day shoot in my garden, around the private estate where I live and the beach at the end of my road.

Huw was incredibly considerate at all times of social distancing during this current situation - a wonderfully charismatic character with a natural eye for a gorgeous photograph!

Huw is also chatty, intelligent, witty and really down-to-earth and his super likeable nature easily helped create a wonderful rapport.

The whole day was creative heaven - we were blessed with perfect weather and circumstances, he was generous with sharing images after too, which is greatly appreciated and never expected.. and I can't wait to work with him again in a couple of weeks!

Super highly recommended, thank you for an awesome shoot, Huw!

Well! Where do I begin! Huw is one of the loveliest most understanding and patient photographers I have met in some time

Pre comms were fab, we managed to get some fab shots in a short space of time and we had a good giggle and conversation flowed well

He made me feel comfortable and totally at ease

Huw applied to my casting and filled in a cancellation I had at Two Wei studio on my most recent tour, and I'm so glad he did!!

From the moment I arrived I felt really comfortable around him, Huw is super friendly and chatty and I honestly don't know where the time went!! I found him incredibly easy to talk to and we had a really good laugh whilst working our way through several different looks/sets.

Huw also came armed with an incredible wardrobe! He had so many different looks and props for us to use that we managed to come away with some entirely different looks, and from the images I have seen so far we got some beautiful results - even the test shot looked good :)

He also went to the effort to send me some final results via WhatsApp so I could look through them and give feedback on what I thought of them which is always really nice to be included in the editing process after the shoot too.

Overall a really awesome shoot, and I really enjoyed collaborating with him! I just wish it had been longer as the time went wayyyy too quickly!!

Well, where do I start? Shooting with Huw for the first time was an absolute BLAST. There was a chilled vibe throughout and banter a plenty!

Despite some challenges including blaring sunlight, my weeping eye from sun cream and the strange heckles from groups of teenagers, nothing phased us. We chatted and shot and laughed along the way.

Not only is Huw a delight to talk to, but his photographic talent is superb (as I'm sure you can see by his portfolio!) His understanding of light, composition and theme is brilliant, as well as giving you the freedom as a model to try new things.

After 6 hours, (that flew by!) I'm really looking forward to our next shoot. Huw is highly recommended. :)

Since my last reference, Huw and I have now shot together over 10 times!! so i think he's due another;)

Huw is now not only someone i work with frequently, hes a very, very good friend. But i shall remain objective .. or attempt to.

Huw will go above and beyond for a shoot, from planning, to providing images. His communication is great, and the excitement of bouncing ideas back and forth is always the best, no concept is too big for Huw to tackle!

As you can see through the ever increasing quality and creativity of his work, he learns something new with every shoot. Hes always up for trying something new, no matter how long it takes.

Theres a lot i could say, but i think this is the most important thing - Huw has the most understanding and appreciative attitude towards models, youd think he was one! Im the first to admit i am not the best at selling myself, but i always know that hes in my corner ready to support and offer advice. From his kindness and ability to create great rapport with models, to him never once getting mad when i get hangry on our long shoots (oops!) he manages to make a shoot feel so fun. His empathy is astounding, and he is truly the first photographer i recommend to anyone.

I had the absolute pleasure of shooting with Huw for the first time yesterday and I certainly hope it won’t be the last.

Huw is respectful and a bundle of laughs, the shoot really flew by. Even though neither of us came in with a plan I have seen the shots we achieved and they’re pretty great :)

You can just tell whilst working with Huw how creative his mind is meaning there is always something slightly different in his work whether that be an interesting lighting set up/angle/location.

So yes, I would recommend Huw.

Heard of him. Saw his work. Wanted to shoot with him.

What a convenience - he books two of my slots at the boardroom studio day!

Totally enjoyed working with him, he brought so much fun and light into the room I was honestly surprised anyone has more of that than me 😄

Loved the inflatable pool and balls setup that he surprised me with, totally was a highlight of my day and to be honest, probably will be a highlight of the year!

Really hope working with Hugh again because both his creativity and passion for photography is something I strive for.

Huw and I shot for the first time at my studio in Leicester, and it could not have gone better.

It flowed great from start to finish, filled with chatter and laughs and every image created was fantastic.

I would definitely 100% recommend him and I hope to shoot with him again in the near future.

Huw was the sort of person I knew I was going to get along with before even meeting him :)

He kindly offered to put me up in Nottingham whilst I was working in Derby during my few days working in the boardroom.

He looked after me, taking me to the most incredible Indian restaurant i've ever been to (they even tell you what each of the poppadom dips are, how cool is that?!) and making sure I was comfortable and relaxed throughout my stay!

We got on really well and when it came to shooting with him it already felt like I was working with a friend!

He is absolutely hilarious, with a wonderful dry sense of humour and equally had the ability to make me feel comfortable and at east straight away whilst staying with him.

Hew is open to suggestions and ideas, so the shoot itself felt like a collaboration. The results were really cool- I particularly loved the gel/natural light work we did together (and the gel work was his first time which he executed perfectly!)

I just wish next time he'd cook me smosages for breakfast :( thought the avocado was good too.

Another fabulous shoot with Huw! This time we shot at a local studio but another duo, the model was sourced via Huw and what a fabulous choice!

One thing I must say is that he really picked his models well, a lot of photographers just plonk models together that don't work.

Huw really thought about our colourings and features, because of that we ended up with some absolutely stunning and striking images!...

Huw is just lovely to work with, he's very polite and respectful! And the shoot itself is creative, full of different ideas and a lot of giggles!...

Highly recommended!!....

Genuinely lovely person and talented photographer who likes to really work with his models and not just dictate to them!...

Thanks again Huw and hopefully work with you again in the future!

This man is AWESOME!! For this shoot at The Boardroom he made my dreams come true. He booked the extremely talented Sister of Sinister to create a magical look and wow just wow! I was turned into a sparkly snow queen/princess for the day and I just loved every second of it! From my dress to the makeup to the company to the sets to the food, everything worked so well.

I class Huw as a friend and he really is just an awesome guy. Not just because he arranged a magical event but because he cares about people and that is special.

I adore working with him and this shoot really has made my year. His images are just wonderful and I can't wait to work with him again. Thanks for making my dreams come true, you are a star!x

Huw has completely outdone himself! Which is hard, because he's fabulous. But oh my goodness!

Huw got together a great bunch of models, photographers and a spectacular MUA, Sister of Sinister for the shoot on Sunday. Not only this, but also provided a bloomin' cracking buffet lunch which catered to all dietary requirements! *10/10, michelin star*

Huw really went above and beyond when organizing for this shoot. The pre-communication was excellent, everything was set out really clearly ready for the day.

Once there, Huw was really welcoming to everybody and ensured we all knew what the schedule was before we begun so that nothing got sidetracked.

Huws photos look absolutely stunning from this shoot, they really are beautiful and flatter each model and the makeup fantastically. To top this off, I also was just super happy to see Huw again.

I would recommend Huw to absolutely anyone, as a photographer, or an events manager really! ;)

Had another great shoot with Huw, this time at The Boardroom with another model. He picked me up and took me to the studio which I appreciate. I always feel looked after in his car and on shoots. He is such a joy to work with and he is very talented. I class him as a friend and would highly recommend him to any studio or model. Thanks Huw!

2nd shoot with Hew this time he brought Lauren-Jade with him to duo model with me some fashion shots. What a fab time we had as well.

Hew is so kind and caring, he truly truly looks after the models he works with, always making sure they are comfortable.

Hew is professional but also has become a friend, not only does he take great shots but he's a great person to be around!

The shoot was endless laughs!

Whether you're just starting out modelling or have years of experience I'd recommend working with him!

He's great at giving direction but also allows you to flow through poses,

Had a fabulous first shoot with Huw, we had previously been in contact and then met at a photography social and thought it best get a shoot arranged!

The shoot was duo with Alicia K and what a fabulous shoot it was. The whole thing was both relaxed and creative, we worked through some different ideas and stylings.

Got some beautiful shots whilst chatting, having a giggle and putting the world to rights.

Huw is a real gentleman, very respectful in his surroundings and a talented photographer who is always keen to learn and try different styles and ways of shooting.

The whole shoot flowed and flew by.

I would highly recommend Huw to other models, you will be well looked after and get some beautiful images!
