Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Huw came to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with Miss C, studio owner and model.

Although this was a last minute booking, pre communication with Huw could not have been easier.

Huw arrived on time and was a joy to have around from the start. He brought so many great ideas to Basford and had a great eye for lighting and what worked.

Huw was very respectful of our property and looked after all our equipment throughout.

Huw is welcome back to Basford anytime and I would highly recommend him.

Huw organised a last minute shoot with me at Basford Hurst Cottage this Sunday and I could not have been happier!!! :D

As soon as Huw contacted me I jumped at the chance... You only have to look at the work on his portfolio to see why!!

We originally booked for 2 hours... but... ended up shooting for 4 hours..!! Huw had so many great ideas and is really is a fantastic photographer!! Every set we shot I kept seeing images I adored!!! He knew exactly how to work with the natural light and what poses work and what didn't.

Time absolutely flew by with Huw, we probably chatted and laughed more than we shot!! Huw is always respectful of me and made sure I was comfortable throughout.

I have already seen the images and I cannot WAIT to see the edited versions!!!

We already have another shoot in the diary and I am so excited to see what we shoot next!!

I would highly recommend Huw to other models and look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thanks Huw!!

I absolutely loved my shoot with Huw! I’ve only been modelling for a short while and Huw gave me lots of useful tips and direction regarding posing, showing me on the back of the camera as we went along. We got along really well and just laughed and chatted easily throughout the shoot, the time just flew by!

I would highly recommend having a photo shoot with Huw and can’t wait for our next one!

I had my first shoot with Huw and it was amazing.Huw is easy to work with, friendly,professional, and very creative.

We shot a few different things from outside to in the bath and we got some stunning shots. Huw has many ideas and knows how to get the best shot.I'm looking forward to working with him again in the future and I would highly recommend him!

I had my first photoshoot with Huw yesterday on the outskirts of Lincoln and had a fabulous time. He picked me up from my house and on our journey to where we was shooting had plenty to talk about. He made me feel at ease, like I had known him for a long time. We found in the countryside a large field with yellow flowers blossoming and a church nearby to do a 3 hour photoshoot and managed to create over 1,000 images! He brought some outfits for me to wear if I wanted to which I did as they really fitted the theme/backgrounds and I brought some outfits also. He came up with so many ideas, was knowledgeable and directed me with posing when needed. Huw was organised, thoughtful and kind enough to bring bottles of water for me and some cakes to take home at the end of the shoot. The communication was excellent, plenty to talk about, we understood what we both needed from each other and I requested some edited images which he was happy to sort out for me. I cut them down a lot but Huw was so generous and is looking forward to editing the 24 I have picked out from this shoot. The unedited images have come already, he’s getting onto the edits now so he sends them over quickly which is fab! He was respectful throughout, enthusiastic and we both want to shoot with each other again outdoors sunset hour which I am looking forward to. Will definitely be booking as many shoots as I can with him + I recommend him to new and experienced models! 5*

I had my first shoot with Huw and it went fantastic. He booked a lovely hotel room ,we had a quick two hours shoot but we manage to do many awesome pictures . Huw is very creative, has many ideas , a true professional ,an amazing person and a great chat . I enjoyed a lot our shoot ,and happily would work with him again

I finally got the chance to meet and shoot with Huw after we'd been messaging for a while about potential shoot ideas. He had some last minute free time while he was in the area so we grabbed the chance to meet for a couple of hours, shoot some portraits and chat more about future shoots. He is so lovely and easy going and I felt like we'd known each other for a while! We had no plans for the shoot and the sky was dark and grey outside, not the usual natural from my living room windows, but Huw made the most of what we had and created some great portraits. He has such a creative outlook and a clear love for wanting to constantly grow and develop his work, so I'm really excited to work with him again and put our ideas together to create something amazing!

Just recently had a half day session with Huw. He showed up very prepared knowing exactly what he wants with plenty of fabulous outfits! We worked very efficiently through his ideas.

Great communication during the shoot, aside from all the fun talk and laughs we had.

Needless to say , great technical skills for lighting which made me very with the results.

Overall, great energy, skills and super nice personality 😊

My recent shoot with Huw was fun - we experimented with wide angle photography, trying a variety of poses, angles, lighting and backgrounds. Huw was very patient and we both enjoyed learning new things and playing around with different concepts. We shot some portraits towards the end. The time flew by and all in all it was a very productive afternoon. Looking forward to seeing how they all turn out. And looking forward to our next shoot together :)

I had a fantastic second shoot with Huw recently. This time a duo shoot with Ashley Ashton at Penguin Studios. Huw arrived on time with a bag of clothing and chocolates! Major bonus points :D Huw is professional, respectful and so easy to get on with. He gave us both brilliant direction and we worked at a relaxed yet productive pace. The photos he took are amazing! Highly recommended by me and I would definitely love to work with him again in the future :D

Paired with the stunning kelly hathway , this was to be our first duo shoot .

We shot a mix of solo and duo sets and huw brought a bag of magic . And chocolates! Yum ! Loved his ideas and guess the time suddenly flew by with all the matter going on !I hope huw got some lovely shots though ,

So today I had my first shoot with rapture photography (Huw).

What a pleasure it was to work with this photographer very professional and down to earth.

Per coms were fantastic, huw had a amazing wide variety of outfits to shoot with he was very well prepared and made me feel a comfortable starting away,

I would 100% recommend him to all models and I'll be definitely working with him again.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Huw last week, and although we were working with a small space (with minimal lighting!) we managed to achieve so much in the few hours we shot for. Huws communication was perfect, we spoke on the phone for a while to plan the shoot, and even during the shoot we worked well and bounced ideas around. He also came prepared with a wide variety of outfits which was super cool! Huw made me feel super comfortable, and we had a good laugh throughout. I highly recommend him, and I can’t wait to shoot again!! :)

I'm soo late with this review I'm so sorry been having a break from modelling to focus on studies BUT I couldn't not leave Huw anything short of a a glowing reference.

Not only was every single image shot amazing but he's a complete gentleman and I was beyond impressed with his creative skill, patience and preservation as we shot in a studio setting and on location all in one day. He was fantastic company and I had an unforgettable and enjoyable time. I recommend Huw to any model, he's a joy to work with and his photos left me with a newfound confidence in modelling. Anyone would be lucky to work with him. A total diamond. Thank you Huw!

Huw responded to my last minute availability casting and I'm sooo glad he did! He picked me up from the train station, so we had a little chat in the car and I was already happy with our communication as Huw was extremely friendly and chatty. We were shooting in his house, in several outfits (Huw has a large luggage of colourful clothes!). I can't believe how creative he is and how good are the pictures! I am sooo happy with working with this talented photographer and hopefully I will have opportunity to shoot with him again! Highly recommended!

I just had my first shoot with Huw and all I can say is... what a wonderful man! We had an incredible shoot together and came out with some fantastic pictures. I have already seen some of the edited pictures and they are some of my favourites that I have ever done.

He was so kind and considerate, making sure that there were breaks, food at the location and that I was happy and comfortable.

I was nervous about going for a shoot after some personal issues I had recently experienced but my shoot with Huw has made me love modelling all over again!

We had a good laugh and lots of conversation. Despite living pretty far away, he drove me all the way home which was incredibly kind of him.

I am truly very excited to work with him again and I truly couldn't recommend him enough.
