What can I say about the lovely Huw?

First off I shall say if you get the chance to work with him, jump at it.

Huw is an absolute pleasure to work with in every sense. He is good humoured, considerate, completely professional and a genuinely lovely guy that makes working together feel like a breeze.

We’d been in touch for a few months prior to our shoot, discussing ideas, themes and coming up with a master plan for a day’s shooting at Two Wei Location House. Throughout this time Huw was always interested to hear my thoughts and valued my ideas and input which is always appreciated. By the time our shoot came around it felt like meeting up with an old friend and that’s exactly how the day went!

Huw kindly picked me from me house on the day of our shoot, en route we stopped at Waitrose to pick up provisions for the day (and probably the rest of the week! Thank you hugely!) and off we went. The day was wonderful and by far one of my most enjoyable shoots, in fact, it was my most enjoyable shoot for sure. Huws an awesome photographer and extremely talented! It’s very, very exciting how good he is already after only a short time exploring fashion/portrait/model photography… all I can say is watch this space!

Huw, I’m delighted, excited and so very pleased that you would like to work together again. I can’t wait!

Huw is an amazing photographer as you can see. Whilst working with him for the first time, he was welcoming and very bubbly to talk to. We clicked like a house on fire and we got some amazing shots in the studio. He knew what he wanted from the shoot and was very professional. He made me feel at home and the amazing thing is that we are talking about ideas for our next shoot. One of the best company person I have gladly worked with and he doesn’t disappoint. well, trying to top the reference Huw just gave me is going to be difficult ..

I shot with Huw at the boardroom studio after a couple weeks of us saying 'we NEEEED to do something!!' and boy did we. Ive wanted to shoot at the boardroom since moving home ... mostly because of major photo envy in the beautiful windows. Pre-comms with Huw were great, as a bit of an introduction shoot i thought hey, lets bring everything i own and see what we can do.. and do we did!

The shoot itself was incredible, and i believe from the shots you can tell it was a genuine collaborative effort. from saxaphone lessons to criticising the 80's whilst enjoys its music we had no end of things to talk about, and the comfort and pure joy i felt during the shoot shines through .. i mentioned to both Huw and Phil (boardroom owner) that i struggled letting myself lose and pulling crazy facial expressions for fear of it going wrong .. but low and behold Huw pulled that fear away, we laughed at the truly awful, grinned at the good, and stared in silence at the amazing!

Huw also read my port notes !!! in another context the amount he knew wouldve been weird .. but him knowing my love for music was the cherry on top of the shoot! though im extremely jealous he has seen the likes of Prince, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Bon Jovi live, im sure next time ill have him tell me all about it so i may live vicariously through him!

Anyway, so this definitely sounds like a review written on one of those weird 'make friends' websites ... but i would absolutely consider Huw a friend now (i even saved his phone number ... i havent saved my brothers phone number!) and im so so excited to see what we do next time, and the next time, and the, well you get the idea. youll be bored of my face on this port soon!!

I had the pleasure of working with Rapturetog for the first time the other day. We arrived at the studio on time and I was introduced to the studio owner and then we had a look around and decided where we was going to shoot first. Rapturetog was really easy to get along with, very chilled and laid back which is how I like my shoots. He was very good with directions when needed and let me see the back of the camera. We both did things we haven't done before such as parts modelling using fruits, this can be a tedious task of getting it just right however rapturetog didn't make it tedious at all and plus I got to eat the strawberries after hehe. He kindly brought lots of food and snacks to keep me going and fulfil my sweet tooth! He came with lots of different ideas that made the whole shoot fun and relaxed. 4 hours flew by! I would definitely work with him again and would highly recommend 100% to any model new or highly experienced.

2nd shoot with rapture photography and I am so pleased he asked me to shoot with him again. The first shoot was a success but this time was even more fun. He came up with lots of ideas knew what he wanted and had everything needed to create the perfect shots.

Huw is always a pleasure and delight to shoot with. His talent is endless when it comes to photography and he knows how to capture the best picture with a touch of elegance and class to it. :)

Highly recommend him already planning 2 more shoots and I'm extremely excited. Thanks huw x

Whoop another wonderfully creative and fun shoot with the down to earth gentle giant that is Huw from my home :D

Just as the last time pre comms were bleeding fantastic and quick, as well as Huw arriving bang on time.

I love that there is absolutely no stress when shooting with this lovely man, you have a chat, take some shots, chat for a few more hours and maybe take some more shots haha okay my fault that we chat so much but it really is so easy to just have a fun and relaxed shoot with Huw as he’s one of nicest people I’ve ever met, always thinking of the models comfort and happiness first, it’s just lovely :)

It’s always wonderful also when you have someone that’s creative too, Huw always has a good think before the shoot on what sort of things he wants to create and where, but he’s also willing to hear about the models ideas and go with the flow.

Throughout the day we shot a variety of sets all around the house including the garden as well, working through fashion, lingerie, sheer, art nude, and fashion nude.

I had such a great laugh with him all day, discussing a whole array of different topics, but I must say a HUGE thank you to Huw for so kindly sending me an awesome vegan cook book only a day after we shot since we were talking about recipes, I love it! Such a thoughtful gift, that I’ve already put to good use in my new home since having a vegan model stay over :D

So do I recommend Huw, well I guess so... of course I do and very highly too, he’s the whole package of being an awesome person and a talented photographer!

Where do I even start with Huw?! Actually- how on EARTH do I even come close to topping his absolutely incredible reference?! My wittiness could never compete against the master!

I’d been meaning to shoot with Huw for a number of months, so once we’d finalised a date to shoot one evening in Nottingham city centre, I was absolutely over the moon! I’d heard incredible things from our ‘dealer’ & the pre-communication was superb, so I knew we’d get along.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t really on our side, BUT with that being said we had a cracking night and got some brilliant photos nevertheless!

I genuinely think Huw could turn any dull rainy day into a wonderful adventure, and may I add, makes an excellent tour guide for the city!

Huw really is one of the most considerate and lovely photographers I’ve come across.

I had a great time exploring the city & capturing some photos along the way.

We’ve already got a few more shoots coming up, so the proof of me saying, ‘I’d work with him again and again’ is in the pudding!

The images we managed to get that night really were lovely too.

My reference ain’t nothin’ on yours, but basically, shoot with this guy! You’ll have an amazing evening, get some lovely photos & maybe even an insight into how he cooks his roasties.

Huw came to my rescue when I was let down by another photographer. What a star he is! He booked me for 2 hours at Belper Studio and I was thrilled he did. Love working with him. He is a true gent, kind and just a joy to work with. I definitely class him as a friend and I always look forward to working with him. He is a very talented photographer and it is great to be around someone who is passionate about what they do. He is keen to learn and gain knowledge and to me that is fantastic. I owe this fabulous human being one hell of a reference! Not only has Huw been the most patient in waiting for his reference during my ridiculous busy period/admin mind melt, he’s been a fabulous friend and always an absolute pleasure to work with!

I always get excited to work with Huw because he’s as mad batty creative as me! From that vey first shoot back in March at the boardroom we just clicked instantly. Here is a perfect example of why this industry is amazing for meeting people and how it can once again restore human faith in doing the things you love.... simply because when I’m shooting with Huw it’s not like work at all and the whole day is a breeze and sadly ends too soon! We’ve shot more times than I can count now already and have many more shoots lined up that I’m super excited about.

Huws images speak for themselves. Classy, beautifully lit and sympathetically retouched where necessary but not overboard. His work is beautiful and I’m loving watching him go from strength to strength with every shoot he does! A genuine gentleman with a serous creative flare and the highest respect for models I have ever come across. Nothing is too much trouble. Huw looks after his models well and ensures we are comfortable with what we’re shooting and have everything we need throughout the day.

A real class act, true gentleman and proud to say a very dear friend of mine already.

If you haven’t yet worked with Huw, I strongly suggest you do soon because he is certainly one to watch!

Another awesome shoot with Huw and Marie Jean Taylor! Marie was staying with me and Huw booked a slot on her studio day at Belper Studio and asked if we could duo again. I love working with Marie and Huw so I jumped at the chance!

Huw is such a gentleman, he collected us from my house and looked after us throughout the day. He is talented, kind and just a joy to work with. He always shows us the back of the camera and this helped myself and Marie notice what’s working and what isn’t. All three of us work well together as a team and it’s like meeting up with close friends. Lots of chat and yummy food along the way always makes for epic shooty fun! I would highly recommend working with Huw and I can’t wait to work with him again soon. Thank you!

Huw attended myself and Marie Jean Taylor's event Perfectly Pastel at The Boardroom and I am so pleased he booked the two slots to work with us both 1 to 2. He is always great to work with and you can always see his passion for what he does. He is always polite and fun to work with.

During our shoot we worked through different sets and he moved around to get different angles and all three of us work so well together.

Had my first shoot with Huw whilst he was local to my area, pre-comms were great and the shoot went extremely well.

Huw made the shoot comfortable, fun and laid back - lots of chats and he also brought plenty of biscuits along which is always a plus for me! :D

Huw and I had been speaking about a shoot for a while and the day finally came! We made last minute arrangements and after a few messages and a phone call later we had a location in mind and were set to go.

All pre shoot communications were fantastic and the phone call was actually very helpful in order to speed up the process of organising everything.

We probably could have chosen a slightly better location, but alas, off to sunny Swansea we went! We met at the marina and with neither of us knowing the area at all we went off in search of potential shoot locations. We made the most out of the three hours we had together and found some lovely areas which in turn helped to create some lovely images! He was incredibly speedy and by the end of the night I had an edit back, ready for posting!

Huw is really nice guy and a true gentleman, even offering to carry my (heavy) suitcase when we ventured to the beach, so thankyou for that!

Huw carries himself in such a professional manner as well as offering fantastic company. We spoke about many things and by the end of the shoot I truly felt like I'd made a new friend.

I whole heartedly recommend Huw to any models, new or experienced, I truly enjoyed our shoot and can't wait to meet again and make some more memories during our adventures!

I absolutely love working with Huw. He is just a joy to work with! This was our third shoot but this time it was a duo shoot with Marie-Jean Taylor at Belper Studios and I was so excited to get shooting. Huw knew that we both wanted to meet and work together so it was amazing that he arranged the whole thing. His pre comms are always on point and he was so lovely to offer myself and Marie a lift there and back to the studio.

When I first started working with Huw he was very new to model photography but with each and every shoot we have done he has learnt and developed so much. His editing has also come along and I love seeing the pictures every time he shows them to me. Huw is a lovely man who is great at making conversation and we always manage to have a good giggle on each shoot. He is polite, kind and has really great ideas! Its really great to be around someone who enjoys shooting and creating. Huw is passionate about what he does and you can tell this with the images he produces.

During the shoot with myself and Marie he came up with various ideas and we loved creating them. He works hard to get the lighting right and asks for feedback when showing us the back of the camera which is great. Our shoot was a fantastic team effort and I think all three of us made a fantastic team! I really hope to work with Huw again soon and I would recommend him to any model. Thanks Huw!

It was a real pleasure to have Huw in our studio! He had travelled a long way that morning but was full of interest for what he was about to shoot. He was incredibly polite and easy to talk to, he also was very caring and had interesting conversation. Huw got on incredibly well with Marie and Elle, the two models he was shooting with that day, we could tell he had a great bond with them as they arrived. We would love to have him back in the studio, he is welcome any time! I'm sure this will be the case as he is local to us.

Sometimes you get the pleasure of meeting special individuals along this funny old modelling journey, that in normal circumstances, you probably would have never met. It’s people like Huw that make me realise what a special position it is that I have in terms of career. Not only did he provide fantastic company, in depth meaningful conversations and a bucket load of funny…but it was so enjoyable to be around someone who truly (and I really mean this) buzzed off of the shoot and what we were creating.

Huw is an enthusiastic and passionate photographer. Interested in improving his skill and really creating something, not just aiming, shooting and hoping for the best.



Our shots are wonderful. I really like them and crazy to think it’s only from one shoot! We covered so much land! Haha.

I’m super excited to work with him again and honestly couldn’t recommend him enough to all models!

Huw’s pre comms are exceptional, he arrives on time and is such a lovely person. We worked through various sets and I really enjoyed being able to explore different poses and ideas.
