References for f/8 Studio

My first shoot at F/8 was recently and I can't believe I haven't been before, considering how close I am to it! When I arrived I was given a brief tour by the photographer and was introduced to Paul, the studio owner.

Paul was polite and professional, supplying me with cups of tea throughout the shoot, and, unless called by the photographer, he stayed in his office, giving us privacy.

The studio itself is well equipped and has all manner of things from lighting equipment down to mattresses!

It was a pleasure to shoot here and I look forward to returning :)

I was lucky enough to work at F/8 last weekend as part of a camera club tuition event.

Brilliant facilities: kitchen for a good cuppa, warm loos, great well lit changing area and space to hang your stuff. Plenty of parking and easy to find.

Paul was a fabulous host, a real treasure trove of equipment, props and backdrops as well as more lights than you can use in one session.

Thankyou Paul and F/8 studio. Highly recommended.

Had a great shoot at F/8 Studio, due to family commitments I haven't been able to go to a studio for a while, Paul was very helpful with the lighting and all three

of us swapped ideas which made foe a fun a creative shoot would recommend F/8 Studio to both models and photographers, Studio days and Workshops.

Well I've now had the pleasure of working at this diverse space on many occasions now and every time has been absolutely fantastic!

Firstly Paul the studio owner is a absolute fabulous host!, Nothing is too much trouble for him :-)

For Models, You have access to amazing facilities, your own private room/changing room dressing gown, styling and all the little things that make working at a studio even more comfortable to work in :-)

The space itself is superb! You could be there for a full weekend and still not shoot everywhere! Beautiful finishes/decor/sets and features make for special imagery.

I felt warm, safe, looked after and creative.. As a model I can't ask for anything more. :-)

Very highly recommended to all models and photographers

Have a wonderful shoot at F/8 with the wonderful Sinopa Rin.

The studio has everything a photographer would need.

Paul is always there if you should need help with the lights.

f/8 is a photographers delight.

A cup of tea is always on hand.

A joy to shoot and learn new things.

Highly recommended.

I had a great day shooting at F/8 Studio, and it reminded me how much I enjoy photography. The fully equipped studio is perfect for fashion and art nude photography. Paul was very friendly and helped me setup lighting in the space. I look forward to shoot there again!

Made my first visit to f/8 in several years last weekend for a Rebecca Tun model day.

Paul the owner was friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout which made for a relaxed, easy to shoot in atmosphere.

The studio is very well equipt, with all the lightings and other kit you could wish for as well as excellent natural light.

f/8 Studio is one of my favourite studios to work at. I've had dozens of shoots there and always find it a positive and stimulating environment to work in. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile studio with loads of lighting possibilities, including beautiful natural light, as well as tons of props / garments, a private model changing area and a very friendly and helpful studio owner.

I had an outstandingly great day at f/8 Studio, where I hosted my first studio day. An airy, open space, with a very knowledgeable and co-operative owner and a welcoming atmosphere. A wide variety of different colour backdrops were available for me to use. The changes between them were very well-managed, almost seamless and very prompt. Lighting was high quality and modern, and was set up ready for the photographers working with me.

I really enjoyed my day and definitely I will be back to the studio in the future :)

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Paul for organising my natural light workshop at his fab studio on Thursday.

I love shooting with natural light and wanted to create a workshop so I could help fellow photographers not only understand how to get the best out of natural light, but also to embrace it.

The workshop went really well and hope to do more.

Today was my first visit and shoot f/8 studio with the lovely Paul, and it was well worth the trip! F/8 was hosting 2 group events with me as the model and both were a lot of fun😊

Paul was a pleasant and friendly host throughout the day and I felt instantly comfortable upon arrival and kept me feeling comfortable, safe and made me laugh all day! The studio is a great large space which is well-equipped with lots of props and clothing too!

I'm looking forward to returning to shoot again at f/8 and will definitely be recommending it to others!

Had a really nice group portrait shoot with Paul and model Kiera Ashley at f/8 studio in Gloucester.

The studio has everything a photographer could wish for.

Paul has great knownledge of all the lighting set-ups and is always warm and friendly and easy to work with.

His studio is very popular and easy to see why.

Did a shoot at f/8 studio with Kiera Ashley and I was impressed at the large studio space which boasts very professional Broncolor lighting throughout. The quality of light that comes out of the Para 133 is stunning, crispy, punchy and soft all at the same time, which is very difficult to do. This really adds to the quality of photos coming out of my Hasselblad. I'm now considering Broncolor over my Elinchrom lights. Paul demonstrated very good technical knowledge about cameras and lighting.

Made my first visit to f/8 studio for Sinopa Rin's studio day and was impressed by the friendly welcome from Paul and the sheer range of quality lighting and modifiers available. An excellent shooting space which I hope to visit again soon.

I recently visited f/8 for the first time for a sold-out weekend. Paul provided a warm welcome and I felt comfortable, appreciated and looked after throughout the two days. The studio is large, warm, well-equipped and boasts beautiful natural light. Paul was always on-hand for tea, lighting assistance or just a chat and the weekend flew by. I'm looking forward to returning in September and highly recommend f/8 to others!

Another very enjoyable shoot at this studio, this time with Melanie Bond. Paul is always very helpful with setting up the lighting and offering advice, if asked for. I will be returning to this studio many times, so highly recommended.

f/8 is a fantastic studio to work at. I recently had my second set of studio days there. The lighting equipment there is fantastic and there's no shortage of props and materials to work with. I always feel warm and clean there :)

The best feature of the studio is that Paul is so helpful and enthusiastic, always on hand to offer practical input if needed. I'm looking forward to my next visit in August.

My second shoot at f/8 and it won't be my last. Paul strikes a perfect balance between being available to help (e.g. with lighting) but not getting in the way. He is able to attract some great models. I will be watching his events and heading back soon.
