I often work with my wife Good Grace.  She very rarely appears in front of the camera but assists with poses and ideas.  She appears once below, look for the sunset image.  She is also my toughest critic; she doesn't mind me photographing naked women, with or without her, but she wants me to do it well.  She provides many of my ideas and props.  

My only shoot style is Nude and my portfolio is mostly naked women, so: do we only shoot naked women?  No, we also shoot women with their clothes on, men, flowers, trees, mountains, and various other things.  However, many of these shoots of other genres are arranged outside of PurplePort and I don't post the images here.

We make occasional exceptions for something special.  Some examples are the excellent events arranged by Tabitha Boydell and models with special skills such as ballet. 

Levels

At least art nude.  Adult is not required but lingerie, topless, implied, etc is not sufficient.  

A shoot with us will be mostly or entirely fully nude.  

We concentrate on non-sexual nudity.  We aim for art even if we don't always achieve it.  

Our model preferences

These are not absolute and we will sometimes make exceptions but the closer you are, the more likely we are to be interested. 

Tattoos, piercings, nail extensions, and other modifications - preferably none.  If you have some then the easier they are to remove, hide, or edit out the better.  

Hair - simple and natural.  Any colour, any length.  

Pubic and armpit hair - all or nothing.  Completely natural or completely gone. If in between then the more natural looking the better: not landing strips or other designs.  

Make up - the less the better, including none at all.  

Pay

We are happy to pay a typical rate for a nude shoot but prefer it if your rates are stated in your profile so that we don't need to ask.  

Location

Our budget is not large so we will not travel a long way for a shoot or offer to pay long distance travel.  

Our home is not suitable for photography but we are happy to work in the model's home.  

We are happy to work outside in suitable locations (but note the nude requirement).  

We will consider mutually convenient studios. 

We are interested in studio days.  

Remote shoots

No thank you.  I like this hobby as it is very different from my job.  However, directing a remote shoot over an internet call is too much like work.
