Had a fab time shooting at f/8 today for the first time.

Paul was a brilliant host and ensured everything went smoothly. Even taking some stress off of me and getting a prop for one of my costumes… what a legend!

I had a fab time and hope to be back again in the new year.

I highly recommend working here!

I had a fantastic 3 days at f8 Studio in Gloucester, my first visit and it was packed full of bookings with wonderful people.

So much creativity and variety in the themes of the photographers that I worked 1:1 with, from soft dreaminess to artful expression, quirky doll looks and striking drama, featuring pre-raphaelite portraiture, fabulous fashion, colourful wigs, sculpture-inspired nudes, funky lingerie and much more fun collaboration :-D

We utilised both the studio lighting and beautiful window light. Thank you so much to the owner Paul who not only organised it all brilliantly, assisted with lighting where needed, was enthusiastic and welcoming, provided tea and yummy biscuits, but also worked with me on our own creative set.

I would happily recommend and visit f8 studio again - thank you!!

I just attended another great event at f/8 Studio. This time it was with the fabulous Erica Mulkern. Paul attracts some great models and runs the events very well. I will be back again for more events and also one to one shoots.

This is my third time coming to f/8 studios and as always it is my pleasure to work there.

Paul is a gracious host and we have a great balance between having fun and getting stuff done! He was on hand throughout both of the days and was incredibly helpful to all attendees.

I would highly recommend working with Paul at his studio and I hope to be back again soon :)

I had a great shoot at this studio. The owner came down to help me find a parking space. He showed me around the facilities when welcoming me in. He had a lot of clothes, outfits and props to use. It was a big open space with dozens and dozens of furniture to use. He was available for assistance any time it was needed. He solved all the issues on the day which we asked him about. He was easy to talk to a lot and was funny too. I felt at ease at the shoot, and hopefully I can shoot with the owner next time too, or arrange a studio day for me. I would happily come here again, shame it is far from where I live. Highly recommending to other photographers and models who want to create high quality images in this high quality studio.

Another great shoot at f/8.

It has a great location; close to the centre of Gloucester yet it has its own parking.

Inside is a nice large studio with great equipment and props.

Today, Paul was extra helpful as I was setting up my antique camera.

F/8 is one of my favourite studios to work at. I've been there so many times now and enjoyed myself every time. My weekends are always booked up quickly and the photographers are friendly and professional and enthusiastic.

The studio seems to contain anything you might possibly need, and most of all Paul is the most incredibly helpful and friendly organiser.

Highly recommend, and looking forward to next time!

I had a shoot here with JayH, on arrival I was greeted by the owner Paul Davies who was friendly, funny and welcoming. The studio is well set up, with various props available if required. The atmosphere felt relaxed. There is a private changing area, toilets and a kitchen area. The studio is easy to find as not far off the M5. I would recommend looking into booking this facility. For further shoots, if the photographer is looking for a recommendation, I will defiantly recommend here. Thank you Paul

I had a great shoot here and would love to come back again!

The studio is well equipped and has a lot of different lights and backdrops. There are a variety of chairs and props, and also a rail full of clothing you can use. Paul is really good at setting up lighting and knowing what will work for the shoot.

There is also a separate area for models to get changed.

It’s a lovely studio and I would recommend shooting here

I attended a group workshop at the F/8 Studio (1950's Portraiture). It was an excellent event!

The studio is very well equipped. Lighting is top end and coupled with the broad range of booms, boxes, umbrellas and diffusers and also has a variety of furniture set-ups as well as numerous novelty props. Back drops and screens are readily accessible and easy to use. The facilities for the model and the photographer are perfect.

Paul (Davies), the Studio Owner, hosted the event and provided a wealth of advice and guidance. His attention to detail and the explanation of the requirements and reasoning of each set-up certainly enhanced the enjoyment of the event. It helped me learn a lot about lighting techniques.

Florence Day (a Wonderful Model) completed the workshop experience.

I would thoroughly recommend the Studio and the workshop format and advise photographers to keep an eye on future events. A Great Day

Had another great shoot at F/8 Studio only two hours but all went well I would recomend this studio great lights and help from the owner Paul when needed.

As always Paul provides a warm and welcoming session. He is friendly, funny and knowledgeable about photography and how to light a subject. I have attended many workshops at f/8 and always manage to get great shots.

I would highly recommend using Paul and f/8 studios.

Great shoot at f/8 yesterday. The studio is a lovely space with good natural light and more equipment than you need. There's a nice changing room and Paul was super friendly and made sure both myself and the photographer were comfortable. I'd be very happy to work there again.

My first shoot at f/8 and a very enjoyable experience. Paul was extremely helpful and introduced me to the studio before we started. The studio has very good equipment, very well maintained, and it shows in the results in terms of details like consistent colour temperature across the whole shoot.

Lots of interesting furniture and props to choose from and Paul went the extra mile to dig out some unusual items for us. All in all, a great studio, well located and with easy parking. We didn't shoot with natural light, but if we had, the studio has plenty of that. I just love studios in buildings with high ceilings and big windows!

Recommended. I'll definitely be back.

I had a lovely 2nd visit at f/8 for 3 studio dates! I also managed to shoot with Paul this time and we got a lot of lovely images. Paul clearly knows what he is doing and always ensures that the model is comfortable. The space is a great temperature and as usual the lighting is set up and those who attend can just point and click without a second thought.

I would highly recommend working with Paul and booking f/8 and I hope to be back again very soon :)

Done my first shoot at F/8 Studios on 3rd August alongside photographer GSC4X. The studio is easy to find and access, clean, tidy and has everything you could ever want and need for a shoot. Paul was extremely accommodating and friendly. Paul had set up backdrop prior to arrival and helped us move boxes when we arrived. Highly recommend paul and his studio. It was a great day with some great images made.
