References for South House Retreat

Another successful day working at South House Retreat. This time with Leejayyy on her studio day.

As always the welcome was friendly and the hotel as room we used was spotlessly clean.

I've now used SHR three times in just a few weeks but already feel at home each time I go back. Tracey and Martin are perfect hosts who understand the effort that goes into each shoot and are always ready to offer a helping hand when needed.

I have already been in contact with a model about arranging my next shoot there and if all goes as planned I'll be back at SHR very soon.

Done my first shoot at this stunning house with the stunning leejayy, Booked for two hours. This location is beautiful large rooms with loads of natural light. Fantastic grounds but never got to use them this time round. Will be arranging to visit again. Thank you for such a wonderful location to work in.

I held my first ever studio day at this beautiful place and thanks to both Tracey and Martin it all went smoothly!

They are such lovely people and make you feel so welcome and relaxed in their home - a great start to any shoot! Tea and coffee were on tap and also had the option of lunch. The house as always was spotless and made my life very easy.

I have shot here multiple times and keep coming back for more.

I can't recommend this place and Tracey and Martin highly enough!

Thank you both and I will definitely see you again soon!

As usual Tracey and Martin gave myself, model and MUA a great welcome when we arrived and really looked after us throughout the 2 day shoot. Tracy is a great cook and gave us great meals. The rooms had plenty of daylight to shoot with and the stream at the bottom of the garden and grounds as well as the hot tub gave me plenty of scope to capture great images outside.

I was lucky enough to work on a shoot held at South House Retreat last weekend.

When we arrived it was a nice day and such a pretty setting that we sat outside and touched up make-up.

Warm welcome, stunning house, beautifully decorated.

South House Retreat is a fabulous home with beautiful rooms flooded with natural light and plenty of space to be creative.

Martin are Tracey are perfect hosts , there if you need anything but they give you the freedom to explore their home to find the most suitable places to work.

There's always tea and coffee available and Flow the puppy is a wonderful distraction while taking the occasional short break.

I have worked at some of the areas best studios but SHR is now my new favourite place to work. I'm already in contact wth a model and an MUA about my next shoot there which hopefully will happen very soon.

2nd time already this year I have visited Tracy and Martin. It amazes me that no matter how busy they are the house is always immaculate. I never have time to shoot in more than a couple of rooms as there are so many options in each location. Had the bonus of using the hot tub this time and got some amazing images. Look forward to seeing you all again soon. Very highly recommended.

My third time at this amazing and unique location and, as my previous visits here, Tracy and Martin are welcoming hosts with the right balance of being there when you need them and an uncanny ability to fade into the background when shoots are in progress

I turned up 30 minutes earlier than planned but was welcomed in with a hot coffee swift to follow while I waited for the rest of the group to arrive.

There is some stunning light to be found in the house and gardens with the eclectic mix of boutique style rooms providing opportunities for photographers and models alike elements to make some truly breathtaking images.

Do yourself a favour and visit this gorgeous location.

I attended my second shoot in this stunning house and despite having two days at this location there are still areas I want to shoot in. Tracey and Martin are welcoming hosts, Friendly and very helpful.

I totally recommend South House Retreat it is such a great location and the different decors means that there is a room that fits every idea you can come up with. I cannot wait to have the opportunity to shoot there again. Thanks for looking after us.

Martin and Tracey were amazing hosts for the group shoot arranged by Lasy molly at the gorgeous South House Retreat.

The house is absolutely stunning, a little rabbit warren with gorgeous decor over there floors.

The lunch was a gorgeous homemade soup, cheese and biscuits, cake and melon.

Fantastic day and will definitely be back.

This is the second group shoot the lovely Tracey and Martin have allowed me to host in their stunning house. The are the best hosts ever, lunch was delicious and their company delightful.

I just adore going to south house, it’s a well kept secret gem in the Dorset countryside.

If you haven’t been..... then you should.

Brilliant as usual!

Tracy and Martin hosted my model overnight pre-shoot and made her warmly welcome and next day greeted me in the same style before leaving us to get on with the shoot.

What can I say about Martin and Tracy that hasn't already been said!

I stayed the night in one of their beautiful rooms the day before a shoot, and they were the most welcoming and friendliest people I've met so far.

The rooms were all so different and quirky, you're definitely spoilt for choice, but you can tell that there's alot of love involved in everything they do down to the fine details. There were plenty of laughs, and the food was delicious, I had a great evening, perfect hosts! Even the next day whilst getting ready Tracy brought a tea into the room for me which I couldn't drink in the end, but it was such a nice thing to do.

Thank you for having me in your home and I'd love to see you all again!

Shot there twice now, and its absolutely amazing!

Both the owners are so welcoming, easy to talk to and over all lovely.

The house itself is gorgeous, so many different rooms to shoot in and every one is different!

Can not think of a better place to have my first shoot of 2019. As always the house was immaculate. It was also very warm. No chilly models for me, just a very comfortable one. Just love working there. Again I only managed to shoot in two rooms as I ran out of time. The fact the rooms give you the opportunity to shoot from so many angles is testament to that. Martin and Tracy are wonderful hosts so it is no surprise that my next visit there is in 3 weeks. Very highly recommended.

I had a wonderful shoot at South House yesterday. The house itself has a huge variety of places to shoot before you even start exploring the gardens. Tracy and Martin were wonderful hosts and if you have lunch, as we did, I'd suggest not having much for breakfast beforehand! Thoroughly recommended, and I'll be back.
